My inventory window has an overflow area.
Delete your eq2ui_inventory_inventory.xml and run the thorui au.

I just wanted to suggest an addition to the broker window similar to that of proffitt's. It's nice to have all the advanced search options on the initial broker screen, adn the split screen for buy/sell is very handy!

I was holding off to make sure SOE was done with any major changes since the last few times I modified the window they kept updating on me. :P

I did add an enhanced search that has all the Tier Harvestables already setup in the drop down.
That's available via the Features section in the ThorUI AU.

First off, thanks for all your work and mod's, they are great.

One thing that I would really like that you added is the level and class of each player to your full version of the groupmembers window. Right know it's setup to where it can be seen by mouseover, but it would be real nice to have it always appear, like the name/hitpoints/power, in your full version of the group window.

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to add something to the tradeskill interface to be able to show whether I've made anything for that recipe BEFORE I actually start & use the ingredients? I'm trying to make the most out of the pristine bonus but have a crappy memory! :)

First off,

Awesome UI. I am such a huge fan of ThorUI that I recommend it to all of the new people I meet and fellow guildies.

My only request is the broker window. Let me reinforce the broker request from above. ProfitUI and Fetish both have a two-tiered broker window that makes things infinitely easier to purchase and sell.

Please FIX the hotbars SO it can the spells can be locked in 1 place>I am tired of dying in a fight when i am a healer because i am madly clicking on the spells and they get dragged etc.ALSO remove the damn paper doll thing I am sick of getting a error and crashing out of the game if i accidently hit it.

I believe this can be remedied by locking the hotbar(s) in place. I remember having to unlock my hotbars when I wanted to rearrange the layout of my spells (not sure if this has been changed, as I have been unable to play for a few months).

I believe this issue was linked to the inventory and/or persona window. Delete the eq2ui_inventory_inventory.xml and eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml files from your thorui directory and rerun the updater to pull a fresh copy of each.

Being a dabbling Tradeskiller, I have learned that if you examine the item you are crafting there is a set of 4 boxes at the bottom, if you have made anything they turn from the ? to the item. This goes (for a spell maker) app II, App II, App III, App IV. Adepts and Pristine are made as Adept III, Adept III, Adept III, Adept III and only on the bottom Adept III will you get dust back.

locking the toolbars Doesnt fix the problem.The spells still can be dragged and lost.I dont have a option to disable dragging the spells with thorui as i did with profit or the original game one

SOE changed the way the hotkey options work.
It affects ALL UI's not just the ThorUI.
Right click and choose "Hotbar Settings" then change the settings however you wish.

I was wondering if there is a way to make a smaller Tradeskilling window, currently the version I have has all the cool things but takes up a good portion of my 19inch screen. Maybe a 3/4 option? :nana:

I've been using Thor UI for quite a long time now, and i LOVE it!

There is just one thing that would make it even better IMHO and it has to do with the Maintained Effects and Buffs windows. I would like to see the duration of the effect/buff actually displayed over the icon.

Example:
SoW is cast on you and it shows up on your bar, and it shows the minutes remaining so it would look like
29 min because thats how many whole minutes are remaining since it starts ticking down. then when it gets to seconds left it would look like this
it would still have the icon underneath it so you can tell the effect, but this would be an easy way to display the actual amount of time left on effects/buffs without actually taking any more screen space.

There are various maintained/Buff Effects window mods that already have the timer you are looking for (example). Just because something is not offered within the ThorUI updater, doesn't necessarily mean it cannot be used (that's the biggest thing I like about ThorUI....Faetyl tries to keep it non-inclusive, meaning other author's work can be used along with it without breaking the entire UI). ;)

In regards to the hotbar timer thing, I believe I have seen past discussions about this not being able to be done. Here's one thread I found on it.

Yes, I've seen the mod you linked for the buffs/effects window, but thats not what i was describing.

I understand how they work and that you can piece them together.

I prefer the buff/effect windows of ThorUI because of their size, and i don't want that size to change - hence the time left showing up over the top of the icon, and not taking up any more screen real estate.

This may have been suggested already but, can you put F1-F6 For each party member. It makes it easier when healing.

These should already be showing on the group windows i offer.
Color dot with F2-F6 noted on them.
Note: The color of the dot coresponds to the dot on the map and also shows the F#'s if using my enhanced icon plugin for eq2map.

Chat Windows
 

In previous UI's I've used, I was able to make a chat window that was very small, with no borders.. which I used as a basic combat window, to know if I was out of range with my melee, and to see my damage.

The chat windows with Thor UI don't work very well for this purpose, because you can't get rid of the frame (I like the window to be unnoticeable unless I'm actually fighting something), when you make them as small as allowed the text scrolls out of the chat window for some reason (text floating above the window), and also the little tab in the corner makes it look awkward if you want to place the window on the right side.

This UI by far is my FAVORITE, the customization is far superior, you've done a great job. I would be extremely pleased to see something available for a super small, simple chat window =)

Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but would it be possible to set up the click-to-cure so that it wouldn't change your target? I believe there is a macro command to set this up, but was wondering if this could be incorporated into ThorUI group window.

Not sure where this would be, and im sure it has been asked, but there are so many posts to read and assimulate.

1. Trying to load the UI settings i have on my Main toon, (ie placements and such). Not sure if this was avail in eq2 or eq1. but seem to recall, pls correct if i am thinking of wrong game, but when i logged in, I could select what toon i wanted to emulate, or no matter what toon i had picked, i could have them all set up the way my main toon had its windows placed.

When i /loadui i get only default or ThorUI, and in chosing ThorUI, i get only one hotbar, instead of all ten, ect.

I know there was I think a way to select all my toons, but for the life of me, cant figure where in setup it is. Having not a great knowledge, i select and reslect buttons and every now and then, i get the window where i select each of my toons for the server i am on. Where is that function? help please

I included an app that someone made to do that but the need for it kind of fell away when SOE added the command for it.

1.) Log in to the character you wish to change the layout of
2.) type /load_uisettings
3.) Choose the layout of the character you wish to copy

I have not read every post on this thread so if i repeat a person i am sorry also i do not make these things so i dont know if this is can be done but this is what i would like to see. (1) i would love to have a button on my track window that would use the /target command for the name i have highlighted so that i could check track see a name then select and target thru the window. (2) i would also like to see a target window with a range indicator on it so that i can see the distance to the target i select with the before mentioned track window (would be nice if the distance was displayed in meters to correlate with the ability/spell ranges). Thankyou for your consideration and your time:)

I along with many others wish it could but as it stands now it can't be done.

The way I coded the group window a long time ago it can't be done without a recode but it's about time for that anyways...

Is there any way to get the group window choices back like the Arcane window and others that were left out on the upgrades or the new LU's ?

i sure liked useing the Arcane group window for space saving and the inventory with the 3 different views from the guy who had ADHD or what ever compulsive thing he said he had ... not making fun but its how i remember his comments about why he made the mod.

To my knowledge, Faetyl never had any of the Arcane line of windows included in his UI. However, you can use any of the other window mods available here in conjunction with ThorUI without any problem of breaking the main UI. And I doubt Faetyl would take on the responibility of maintaining yet another mod than what he already maintains, so your best bet would be to post a similar request in the Requests forum (possibly in this thread?) and see if anyone would be willing to do it.

I must admit, all the changes recently sure have pushed you way over in the AWESOME category.

I am happy to say I was able to scrape up some extra Cash and upgrade to a 22in Widescreen display. It runs 1680 x 1050 is there any chance we might see a Thori UI that exceeds the 1240 x 780 layout?

This UI makes me a very happy bunch of :nana: :nana: :nana:

POI AU option for EQ2Maps
 

I'm not sure I would play EQ2 without your UI or EQ2Maps. I can't say enough good things about it. I'll apologize now if this request has already been made, but I'd really like to see an option to use the POI AU mod for EQ2Maps. Not sure what would be involved, but boy would it be cool.

I just want to start by saying that i love ThorUI compared to the default or any other UIs ive come accross. Keep up the good work.

So, can we expect to see the Appearance tab anytime soon?

In my opinion, the strip button is a little close to the close button on the inventory screen. I know I've hit it by accident a more than a few times. Maybe you could put it on the opposite side of the close button?

I don't think many people use it anymore actually so I plan to use it to hide/unhide the new appearance slots and the paper doll window.

It's in the works and should be released soon.

We'll find out if anyone was using the strip button soon enough. :)

Friend notes
 

Is it possible to add an option in the friends listing to add noted for the friends you add.
I sent a tell to someone yesterday thinking it was a friend from RL and it turned out to be someone i had grouped with several levels ago.
Whilst it was nice to catch up both of us were wondering who the hell each other was hehe

Unless they have changed it since I've last played (over a year ago), you should be able to add notes/comments about the individuals on your friends list.
