nice UI
hey just checked out this cool UI. and i realy like the inv / ammo bar thingy at the top of it, was wondering if there was anything like that thats stand alone that i can get, have looked threw the mod pieces some looking for one as i have seen a few mods with it but have yet to find one. maybe i am just blind lol.

One other bug I noticed while playing last night... some of my maintained spells don't show in the bar. i.e. eating/drinking, sow and spells from armor/rings.

Just stretch the hotbars and the chat windows out and reposition the other windows to suit. Dc, Yeh would be kool to have the round compass in there as well... You want to post the chat and the start button files you have redone and I can stick them in the download as alt setups.. please ;) , no point in me remaking what you have already done lol Oh and thanks for the feedback guys :D |

Very strange that about the compass likes???
I made the clock / compass mod you talked about above ;) looks kool i used the compass frame from Jaxels mod , and this un works same way you gotta damn well mouse over the compass to get the clock to snap into position everytime you log in lol ... but I dont mind that somehow its kool lol Going to drop those files into and alt folder in this UI then bud thanks... I will attach the compass / clock , for you to play with :) ,you know where to place the dds file... all I could get in was 1 of the digital times maybe you can better it :) |

Great UI!
I just started EQ and this helps alot! Just a few questions cuz im not sure if its part of the feature or not: - extra chat windows disappearing after logout. I add a couple new chat windows for my own personal use and its kinda annoying having to redo them each login. Any way to fix this? |

So that bug makes it so a max of ONLY 2 chat windows can be saved :( PS: Is it important to actually use the servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini? |
As far as I know that server_charname file dont carry that bug... well I dont have the problem put it that way lol

I tested it both with and without using the servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini.
I even tested it with a different UI comp and w/ just default UI. When I use just the default UI, It even ONLY saves 1 chat window max! With any Custom UI packs I can save 2 max chat indows. All I want to do is save 4 chat windows total but I guess that bug is stopping me from doing that :( |

by the way there is a UI settings file somewhere on here with like 3 or 4 chatwindows on it. You could always download that for the windows, but then you would have to rearrange everything.

Maybe you had your monitor view at a strange angle and the coin page and the target window fell off onto the floor ? ;)
If you cant find them down there try and toggle at+t and then right click on the exp window and change the view to 'frame' :D |
I cleaned up my whole desk area and even used a clean bag for my vacuum cleaning it up to try and find it.
What did work was doing that 'alt+t' and putting the exp frame to view 'frame and title'. Now I can have my extra chat window :D |

I got the new version with the compass clock mod. Some reason the N S E W on the compass doesn't show up. I only got a black circle. Any ideas ?

I'm experiencing the same except mine is white.
It's also the same whether I use DC's mod or yours Laff. Maybe some missing files?? |

Attached is my version of the 3/4 round clockmod.
It has two times on it as well. Top (white) should be earth, and bottom (gold) should be Norrath time. I use a modified image file for the background, so the bkg may not like up right,which means someone will have to go adjust it. edit: also including a modified target window, so that the text isnt cut off the top anymore |

Whats this about the text being cut off in the target window DC ? cant say I noticed that before..... Any chance of a SS of your compass/clock mod as well ;) |

woot! thanks for the update :) Only one question... i am using the alt spell effects window in the corner, but i dont have my bags button anymore. if there a way to get it back?

One small problem with the new update.
I can't see both activateable slots. Only have one now that is accessed through the top inventory thing. |

Ok got it working now.. had to move the startbutton from the Laffs alt clock and compass folder over to the main. :)

I have tried to keep all the windows that you need to change to get the different configs in there folders.... But most of them you can mix and match I guess :) |
Found a little bug tonight.... the 6th group member does not show up in a full group.

What I usually do whenever you post an update is just copy over the files into my existing folders and let the files overwrite themselves. The only file I messed was the hotkey file, I took the one from bottom perdition since it didn't have the numbers on it. Is it possible that would be messing things up? Maybe I should just do a clean version of the UI and see if that helps. Being a healer I really can't be without my 6th group member. :eek:

Ok I have done a clean install of the UI, haven't been able to get a full group to test yet. I guess my next question is how do I take the labels off the hotbar?
