target and implied target windows slightly modified and fixed. Only stink now is the arrows for the target window wont center on the target's name, but full functionality is restored to the window. This includes proper indication of the tier. However, it seems that "solo" encounters no longer display a tier indication.

anyway, files are here and good to go.

Target Window - all tiers are supported. Gold tier markers indicate "epic" content. Grey dots indicate solo and group encounters - more dots mean higher difficulty. Red dots indicate raid mobs - 1 dot for 2, 2 dots for 3, and 3 dots for 4 groups. I need some people to test the window out on some raid and epic targets.

Implied Target Window - all tiers are supported. Operates in the same manner as the target window, obviously. Fixed the resizing issue thanks to a tip from Zonx.

The pictures below show how the target window works when a multi-group (ie. raid) target is selected. Grey dots indicate one group mobs, three being the most powerful. Red dots then cover the grey as the encounter gets more difficult (ie. more groups for the raid). Tier indicators have been properly adjusted.

Edit: forgot the new image file. download the .dds and overwrite the existing taejae_steel.dds in the images folder.

Perdition - or anyone for that matter-, can you check this zip file and make sure it contains just enough files to create the default form of TyeJae - to include the active quest journal and v2 targetting. I've tested it and it seems to be working but I'd like a second opinion. If it works, then we have a fresh copy (with the targetting changes) to use. I think alot of the problems people are having is because so many files are in the zip that aren't part of the mod but are now old due to various patches.

If it all checks out, TyeJae, throw it up as a new version of your UI and most of the problems people are having with installing it should dissappear.

Also you may change the size of the container pages down a little so theres not so much dead space bordering it.

Do you mean in the UIBuilder display or in-game? If you are referring to the way it looks in the UIBuilder, this is normal because of the two different targetting systems. In game it should only show once.

I can't reproduce this at all. Everything was working in a fresh directory with only the files in this zip.

Fixed this. Leftover byproduct of when I couldn't get the window to stay a minimum size.

Hi guys!

Anyone figured out how to lock the group window? All the other windows work just fine with locking, but the group window I havent found a spot that I will get the options to do windows settings.

I use that sometimes and target players with the mouse, and it moves out of place every now and then. Its not so bad, but a lock option if anyone know where to click on it would be nice. :)

I've integrated Sunthas's ammo window into the TyeJae hud. This uses the clock window to make the ammo indicator show everytime you log in... otherwise you have to do it manually by typing /show_window MainHUD.Inventory every time you log in.

Replace the original tyejae files with the ones found in this zip. View the install.txt within for more details on installing this mod.

Haven't had any problems with this at all Xarox. The window settings right click pops up like normal from anywhere you click. Only thing I can suggest is using the lock all windows feature in the options window, then unlock windows that you want to be able to move.

:confused: for some reason my target window still says group even when it's a solo mob. i've download your latest mods for target and your implied target windows.

The last time I had this problem, the only solution I could find was to delete my eq2_recent.ini and settings file, and then reconfigure everything.

I have a couple requests: number one, could someone add a more visible indication of when your auto-attack is on? I sometimes miss it in the combat spam. The other request is for an embedded compass window in the main window.

Really glad that this UI is coming along even with TyeJae unable to work on it as much as he'd like! Great job guys.

This is seemingly a limitation of the new targeting system. If you want solo / group indicators you have to go back to v1 (ie. "detailed"). Solo encounters in that mode show no tier, while anything greater will have a tier indicator.

I'll work on an autocombat indicator at some point in the future but right now im more concerned about skinning the majority of the windows. As for the embedded compass... what would the "main window" be for you?


Finished skinning the chat windows, similar to what Perdition has done. My chat windows will strech pretty wide to accomodate most chat windows in 1280x1024 and lower resolutions. They also use Deathbane27's custom chat window (found here). As usual, overwrite previous files.

I meant the window with the group info and all your stats. I think it would probably fit nicely up at the top right of that window, above where you now have the ammo indicator.

As for the autocombat indicator, my player name already blinks, I was just hoping for something in a more visible location. I understand if you're wanting to do all the windows, though.

ok, mos, I see what you mean. Not a bad idea. I'll move the ammo over to the space by the name and the compass into the area where the ammo is now. Should work nicely. Look for this post edited sometime in the next few hours - I'm trying to get level 30 atm - spent 8 of the last 24 hours working on the UI :)

Aalwein I tested your Implied target and target window and it works great , I have also use them to make the bottom version ;)

I have reskinned a little more the mainchat you made and make a new compass window that fit under the experience window if some want it like that :)

Here's a modified group window with the ammo indicator and the compass docked into it. They "hide" behind the group window so in function they are locked behind once each window is set.

I like how this is turning out. I'm gonna start adding these completed mods downloads to the official download section. gonna send a PM to the mods to have TyeJae's ui added into the projects section too.

It looks damn great aalwein , very good idear to have them behind, but maybe you will have to put the loc somewhere has we will not be able to have it hovering on the compass as it's now the groupmember ?

Might have noticed that in Perdi's screen shots of her UI, all the bars, borders, and other interface pieces have a silver look. This is from the Incubi Silver mod. You can get the result by downloading it at http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3226 and copying all the images into the TyeJae images folder. Do not copy any of the xml files or you may lose windows from the TyeJae ui. It's a nice little addition to making a more "metal" look to the ui.

any "complete set" that I may put together in the future will have this included as an optional feature.

Hello All :)

I just uploaded the bottom version of the great TyeJae Steel mod, it's using Aalwein Tuning and my addition/tuning.

The shad on and Shad off buttons are used to enable or disable the Pixel shader. Pixel shader gives instantanetly a great Performance boost that can be very helpfull in dungeon.

It works with old and new con using target and implied target by aalwein :)

Ps: Press Alt+T two times to see the target and implied target the first time you are using the MOD

Damn good idea on the pixel shader, Perdi. I'll integrate that into mine next

Great UI once again, but i would like to see the adventure XP and the Tradeskill XP in the box again instead of having to click it to change it bioth were nice to see also for some reason i have to do the show_window mainhud.target to get up the target window and not sure the comand to get up the assist target window? maybe its just me hehe. but again very nice UI i have used all of them you have made.
