Command Center
 

I was wondering if there were anyone else having problems getting the Command Center to work with 6.5? All I show is the options toggle with the 4 performance modes below it? Did I miss something in the Install.doc or the Readme? :confused: I used it alot to access the info center and the quick use pointers. Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I just can't seem to be able to play well with out Fetish :D

welp.. figured out my main problem.. (not resizing 4tl).. but my other question still stands since it's late and i'm lazy.

edit: one more quick thing.. if someone knows off the top of their head what file i delete to remove the trauma cure window, i found it once but figure while i'm bugging the pro's might as well throw that in too :D

Could you please post the New Command Center as a zip file too?
I don't have capability of using .rar format.

Ossot, I have no clue what your other question was as I was unable to find any other posts from you in the last 2 weeks.

The start button that comes standard with FetishNightfall only adds the 4 performance settings. A 3rd party addon with a buncha extra buttons is available from the download page but isn't something I maintain.

To remove the Cures window, open eq2ui_mainhud.xml in notepad and delete the include for that file. Trashing the cures file iteself is optional.

Thanks for the info. As for the question, I edit'd it out. The jist of it was asking how to make my group window vertical instead of horizontal.. turns out i just had to resize.

i just downloaded this ui tonight.and seeing what was all avalable ect.when looking at the info page with all the spells quest,ect i have no text showing up in the box's on the right side they just black.but i can guess where they are.and just keep clicking to get the page to load. any solution to this problem. thanks in advance.

I redownloaded the info center again and that worked ....
not sure what that did .... but .... voila :) ... or however ya spell it ... no coffee yet .. lol

Is there anywhere we could get a config file that would make the settings match those in the screenshots?

When I install the UI, most things are still all over the place, and I am not sure how or what to set the viewport to.

I get the new look, but I am having trouble making it layed-out like the shots. It would be wicked sweet to just take someone else's 1280x1024 (or comprable resoultion) ui settings and viola.

6.5 release - possible error on broker window?
 

I have Fetish 6.5 installed. (Been using it for ages, FANTASTIC ui, can't believe how awesome it is!) But in the 6.5 release, I noticed the new TAKE ALL COIN button on the broker window does not seem to work, it doesn't do anything at all that I can tell. So I was just wondering if this was something you knew about or if it was something that was overlooked?

Other than that, the only other issue I seem to be having is with the milequest infocenter, I have the folder in there and it brings it up when I type in the command, however the button bars on the infocenter appear to be black on black, I cannot tell which is which (but clicking in the area seems to switch to the different areas of the infocenter). That isn't that big of a deal, I'd rather have the TAKE ALL button working, but would be nice if I could see these too.

If you download the Info center stand alone and extract it into the fetish folder ... that fixes it .... I had the same problem ....
the take all coin ... mine works fine ... so not sure what problem that is ...
course I have noticed that I can *take all coin* and it will still list the amount as still there until I log out and back in ,,, but it does actually *take* the coin .... at least for me it does .....

hope at least I helped on the info center .... :)

Thanks Wynd I'll try to download the infocenter again.

I don't know whats up with my TAKE ALL coin button, it doesn't seem to work. I don't hear any noise, it still lists it, and if I then (after pressing it) go click on the TAKE COIN for individual containers, it does work then (and the money must have still been there, as its actually taking it at that point and placing in my inventory). I did a clean install of 6.5 so I am not sure what may fix it...maybe I will try to delete the market windows and re-download the market window part.

TAKE ALL COIN still not working
 

I followed your suggestions Wynd (that DID fix my infocenter, it looks nice now) but I am still not able to use the TAKE ALL COIN feature. I click it, it does make the little CLICK sound, but other than that, no coin changes hands ... it all stays in their boxes. I did download just the market mod for fetish 6.5 and overwrote it, but still no luck getting TAKE ALL to work. Anyone else having this trouble?

Take all doesn't work atm. Zonx said it was something SOE had placed on the default window but had left it hidden. It sounds like it was something they meant to do but never got round to it. It is possible SOE might activate it with the next LU but until they do, it doesn't work.

Take all coin works for me only if there is coin in more than one chest. If not then I have to go to that chest and just use take coin. This might be why they had it hidden.

First time poster, long time user! I thik your interfaces are awesome and are updated damn quickly :) I have had a few glitches that seem like no big deal to me, so I work through them and usually are gone after a patch.

There has only been one thing that I havent been able to fix and I have kinda gotten used to it, but I thought what the hell....maybe someone knows what the problem is or what I am doing wrong.

When I type in my chat box, I type over the last line of text written unless my mouse pointer is in the box. Like I said, I have gotten used to it, but if you or someone else knows a fix, I would be grateful ;)

7/13's update - Character error
 

No sure what happened, but upon loading the game after path this morning, I received an error when hitting P to look at my gear for damage %.

Should I delete the character file until this can be addressed?

BTW - You do an amazing job with your UI, thank you for all the hardwork!.

What you need is new versions of the xml files upated today. there are 3 on the files, and there is a warning when you log in saying that they are incompatable

At least the Inventory ones are, not sure what the events template one is.

Is there a "simple" version of the tracking window as well? It does the same thing as the chat window, default hiding the scrollbar, etc, when not being moused over. I can't find any other files to replace it with, though.

What changes need to be made? Or should I just delete those files and repatch?

Seems I still get a message regarding the Journal Inventory window being out of date as well, even after deleting these 3 files. Any ideas folks?

Fetish Inventory Incompatible
 

I know it's because of SOE's update. I downloaded the newest possible package that I could find Fetish6WayInventory_6_3.zip. After executing EQ2, upon entering the game the splash screen seems to not fit (Window Mode Maximized) and as the game is loading at splash screen the "incompatible inventory" message is allready displayed and inventory will not open.

It is kind of difficult to find the correct files to download, every download page for Fetish I visit lists different files and packages with different dates and it is very confusing.

I don't want to waste anyone's time I tried very hard to find what I thought was the correct set of files but it still won't let me view my inventory. I hate EQ2's default interface so this kinda blows but whatever. I'll delete the appropriate files so I can view my inventory or whatever else needs to be deleted so I can obtain full functionality of the game. My quesiton is: What is the appropriate Fetish package to obatin at this point in SOE's patch's, and also WHERE THE HECK IS IT??? lol Any help is greatly appreciated and if you need screenshots or logs of any kind let me know and I'll pass them on.

Inventory Inventory problem
 

Yeah there are a ton of replies to this thread but so i wasn't sure if this was answered or not.. But I will ask it again if it was - Everytime i enter the game now my inventory will no longer open.. It like says Error with the Inventory Inventory, try updating the ui or do /loaddefault ui. Was there a fix to this? because i redownloaded the ui, deleted the fetish folder and redid everything and i am still get the error.

when i load my game and fetish is loaded i get a popup saying my inventory isnt compatible restore to defaults. i cant open up my unventory. it worked on other characters just not my assassin idk why. any info?

It appears to be an issue with the site, not you. Hopefully it will be up soon. If anyone has it, I would be happy to host it as well until an official fix is released.

No, there is not a simple version of the track window as far as I know. You can either check to see if anyone has uploaded a simple version that you can DL, or if you want to try it, you can edit the code yourself.

Right click the eq2_mainhud_tracking window, open the file with Notepad, at the top you will see OnHoverIn="_lots of code here_" and OnHoverOut"_more code here" Deleting the full line of OnHoverIn and OnHoverOut should make it stop hiding things. I have no way to test this, so I haven't tried.

The full code looks like this:
Delete only the code that is in red, and make sure there is no more than one space between the parts that are left.

If you delete anything more than that or leave an extra space, it can and will cause problems with your tracking window, and game from anything like the window not displaying properly or EQ2 crashing each time you try to load it. If you want to PM me, I can see about working on a simple version of it, but I can't promise anyting and it could take me a little while to do.

I just deleted the incompatible files for now. Still doesn't explain Splash screen being completely trashed, or the fact that my character select doesnt show the whole screen including Play button.

for those who can't get to the file, though i'm not sure why, as the server is running, perhaps because I am inside the firewall

Most people like myself are using 6.5, however 3 files listed above was changed on July 13th. If you are not getting an error message, then Zonz has either patched it or something else is wrong, maybe even a patcher issue

I am a devoted UI fan of fetish nightfall no doubt about it lol, until there's a proper fix for this thanks for the fix Chaaskul. I also used your down load site just now and it worked great for me, looks like you fixed what was keeping people from downloading from you. Looking forward to the official fix though as I'm on the PVP server and this UI is built for it :D

This update today is the LU25 seen over in the SOE forum in the update forum.
