Patch? What Patch?
 

Ok, I must be totally blind because I cannot find this elusive patch anywhere. :(

Oh, and don't tell me to read the forums because I've looked through about 30 pages worth of posts trying to figure out where this patch is. Thanks.

can't sell/repair
 

i go to sell at a merchant and when i click the sell tab it doesn't do anything. it switches to the sales tab but nothing shows up.

Which file is it in or can it be moved, the new U button seems to sit right on top of the count for the ammo box, so I can not see how many arrows I have left and ran out one time...

So can you at least move the Ammo one to the left side of the box? Or let us know which file it is in so we can manually move it.

Target window not working or showing up
 

I can not see any target window when attacking a mob tried alt-t

When I click on a mob I should see a window with health/power etc of mob but nothing

When i chat with gambling goblin i can't play the Jackpot! wat is the file i need to remove in order to play!?
Seriously i can't find the file i just trying to delete almost all the "trades" file.

Are you jsut talking to the gobling? cause the way you play is by right clicking the goblin and selecting the option Lotto.

Ekco look up six messages from yours in this thread and there is a link to a patch for Nightfall 4.7 to bring it up to 4.73. It is not a full release but it will correct some issues like the goblin window.

4.8 Status
 

I spoke with a developer at SOE a couple days ago. They were not aware of the scroll bug in the Guild window untill I brought it up. They had a good idea what was causing it and suggested it might be fixed in the next update schedualed for mid week (Oct 19ish).

I finally discovered what exactly was bugged in the Help window (user feedback didn't narrow it down much for me). Appears to be fixed on my end and will be included in the next update. FYI, the issue is with the petition cattegory select menus. SOE renamed some stuff they depend on, which broke them.

The item activation button will be removed from the ammo slot in the next update. Untill then, the "Bagstrip" window should provide an unobstructed view of the ammo slot and counter. Again, DO NOT attempt to drag and drop to/from the Bagstrip window. IT WILL CRASH EQ2.

The tan input box issue will be fixed in the next update.

4.8 for both Nightfall and Classic will be released after SOE's next update (Oct 19ish).

Sorry for the delays on the 4.8 release. A series of real life issues have eaten up much of my free time over the last month. What little free time I have had has been split between actually playing EQ2 and modding.

'Find It' button missing?
 

Downloaded FetishNightfall v4.73

I was trying to update the Broker/Merchant windows since last patch. Prior to last patch i was only using the Fetish Exchange v4.7 interface pieces. Those had the 'Find It' button. I dont have one with Nightfall, so is this not in Nightfall? or am I missing something?

DarkScales, sounds like your target windows may be off screen. Make a backup of your character_server_settings.ini file for the toon with this prob, then use Window Options or Game Options (Alt + O) to restore all windows to the default locations. Optionally you can replace your settings file with one of those provided in the Fetish/Layouts directory.

gindavis, the patch does not include a revised store window (file eq2ui_inventory_store.xml). The 4.73 patch is meant to be installed over the full 4.7 release. Install the 4.7 full release than the 4.73 patch. Optionally, you should be able to patch the Exchange mod by installing just the eq2ui_mainhud_merchant.xml file from the 4.73 patch (the only file from that piece affected by LU14).

Wrendon, black windows generally indicate you're missing image files, the window xml, or the include for that window is missing in the parent file. In the case of the Lotto window, you may still be using an out dated eq2ui_mainhud.xml (possibly from another mod), install the copy from the 4.73 patch or update your version to have every include in the 4.73 version. If that doesn't fix it, varify all images in the 4.7 zip were decompressed to the listed directories.

All features of my various pieces are embeded in the full sets, including the Zone window. Most zones require you to activate a bell or portal. To do this without using the mouse, leave the coursor close to your toon (I keep mine over the left shoulder). Manuver your toon untill the cursor is over the activatable zone item, then hit the "F" key to activate it and open the Zone window. Arrow keys can be used to scroll through possible zones. Hit ENTER for the OK button.

Broker seems broken
 

Hi there,
I am having anissue with the broker, when I hit find it , the window just closes.
I have downloaded, ( and installed :)) the 4.73 patch. Did I miss an update somewhere or did I install it wrong.

Great UI btw, I have really enjoyed it since its release.

How would I go about setting up Mahonri's POI Icon Toggle? Can I just overwrite the file in the Fetish folder or no? Thanks :D

I've found that when that happens, get closer to the broker and try again. Usually works - the auto-close script for walking away is a shorter distance allowed than the script to allow you to open the window.

Zonx: It blows my mind the lengths you go to help us (and I'm sure yourself too). You rock.

madlordofmilk, Fetish maps use plugin slots 2 and 4. Any other map plugins can be installed over the placeholder files for plugin_1.xml, plugin_3.xml, or plugin_5.xml. Graphics included with other plugins may need tweaking to match the Nightfall colors.

Hiya guys :) First time in this Forum. I have been having problems with my vender windows and so have some of my friends :( The sell and repair buttons don't switch over. I was wondering if u all had any ideas or could tell me when a new UI update was going to come out to fix it :)
