Slowly becoming my own UI...

Here is my "DEVELOPMENT" UI. The one I use for regular play is this + EQ2Map + PerformanceProfiles

The maintained window is behind the inventory. I have the I key set to both open inventory + open all bags so its VERY quick. I love it. Also the bank goes below the inventory and its bags to the right of it.

The window style is of my own design and will be released "any day now" or maybe "when its done."

note to self: remove vitality arrows from behind the experience level. :)

Fetish Clasics

Here is a good idea of what I have... the UI is still under construction... and I'm not doign it, Laffs is the worker... I'm just the mastermind with all the great idea ... :p haha

I've gone from stylized 1024x768 to simple 1280x1024 to overstuffed 1280x1024 to my current relatively simple 1600x1134 (windowed)... If I only had time to learn to manipulate the XML myself...

I run at 1600x1200 and am currently using the Fetish Nightfall UI.

Normally I would have 2 more chat screens at the top and additional tabs, however, I'm plauged with the all too common loss of interface changes bug... :mad: (I've tried all the recommended solutions, no luck)

I like the screen shots that have done away with the top and bottom areas of the UI that are brown by default out of the box.

I'm trying to remove these browned out areas so that I get more in game visibility on my screen.

Question is to remove these areas is it a setting in the Default EQ2 options or do I have to download and install a UI patch. If I have to install a patch which one would you guys recommend.

Here is mine. It's mostly Fetish Nightfall, with a custom group window, original author I can't recall but modified by sardiaxx to fit with Fetish better. Using Fetish combo 2.5 player and target windows. Using Incubi's silver image files for the blue casting bar and silver borders on custom windows, and using Selae's 5 way stat window.

Belezar, in-game, open the Options and click on Performance. On the right-hand side, I believe it's the second option down, you can adjust the size of those borders as well as turn them completely off.

I use FetishClassic by Zonx along with Mook's 3-in-1 HotBar Small, Itanius' Smaller Maintained and Effects Icons, the Red Dragon Knowledge Book as well as several minor adjustments to various things done by myself.

3 Chat Boxes along the bottom, 1st for general chat with OOC, Auction and Shout as well. 2nd for Combat & Spells, then 3 HotBars for Action / Fighting that never get page-changed, and then my main Chat window for Guild, Groups, Says, etc...

I use a 4th HotBar with PageChanging on it to allow miscellaneous icons to be easily accessed, but not in-my-way. Along the top I have a PersonaStatBar, my Group Window, Self Window, Targets, yadda yadda yadda...

Another satisfied Fetish Nightfall customer hehe...

I use two transparent chat boxes; one for group/guild/raid chat, and one for everything else including combat messages, OOC, shout, and all other spam. I run in windowed mode in 1152 x 864 resolution.

I think your screen shot looks great. The small buttons and chat layout is cool. the only thing I would personalise are the group member icons they look like equalizer display and look too modern for my taste.

Your layout is better than mine, and this site is great and I plan on downloading the map and some other UI components, to achieve something more pleasing along the lines of what you have.

The dragon on your abilities dialog is AWESOME too.

went through and named the boxes because not everything is full and being used with all options i guess =\ . i like it .. very nice for healing because grp is right next to heals for quick reactions and its all positioned nice and neat at the bottom. i used small hotkeys, maintained spells, spell effects. used small vertical grp window... um.. and target/impliedtarget/selftarget windows are updated versions with lvl or % or numbers. also nice for healing. i have the double xp bar which i like just because i like actually seeing some of my xp vitality =). hope you like it.

Started out with Tablets II, right after the very first version of it. Since then, I've modified the colors a bit, done up my own hotbars, and borrowed ideas / pieces from just about everyone with a file in the downloads section. It's perpetually "almost finished"; several windows still aren't skinned, and a few things just look really bad. Still, I can't use anything else anymore. :p

I'm pretty happy with the way mine is setup, a few things I've been moving around like my maintained window and my group / raid windows are constantly getting moved around. I need to get a new monitor so I can bump up the size of my res and start playing at 1600x1200 again, but here is the sexyness:

This is my layout; mostly ThorUI, especially since the few odd pieces I used to manually insert have been added as options in ThorUI. I like having evrything easily at my fingertips, hence the busy lower section, while keeping an open forward view. Happily I'm blessed with a 1600x1200 display which makes it easy to fit everything, with enough open space around and between that I don't feel like I"m looking through a porthole.
