Found couple bugs:
1.) on tracking window the color bubbles that let you select red, blue, etc cons is invisible... 2.) Fetish's Inventory UI has some issues with your Style/button xml file. Makes some of the Inventory buttons disappear. Everything else rocks man! Keep up the good work! Requests: Besides what you plan on doing :) Option somehow to make more screen show and less controls. I mean like take out the deadspace on hotbars and instead of putting MORE hotbars in there lower the rest of it so its about 3 (6x2) hotbars stacked, thats about perfect height for the bottom. Even if you have to shrink group some. Anyhow thanks alot! |
excellent mod
By far the best I've used. I would like to suggest that you incorporate the EQmap project into this.
Your artistry shines through my friend...keep up the good work Rici |
Agreed on the eqmap project tho atm theres not much Perdy can do, once the mappers get the auto updater thingy working then yes, combine this and that, until then, just go to the eqmaps section, download the zip and unzip it into your Perdy directory.
|
ok with the new version will it include a config file? cause mine looked nothing like the ui was supposed to.. it was all in random locations... i think it was in the spots my old stuff was in... any way to include a file that will make it all in the right place? including hotbars and extra's that we may not have enabled in the default ui?

Please read the installation guide before asking..
I put a file named Server_character_eq2_uisettings(1280*1024).ini and another one named Server_character_eq2_uisettings(1600*1200).ini Delete or save the one used for your character in the EQ2 folder. Place the new one depending of your resolution and rename it like: Server_character_eq2_uisettings.ini |
Hello All :)

well see i did that... it didnt work... and i used the right file too but ill try again just in case |
A suggestion for krytical
Not sure of which server you play on but if the server is two words IE: Antonia Bayle then you need to make sure there is a space between them. For example
Antonia Bayle_krytical_eq2_uisettings.ini make sure its in the eq2 folder as well..not in the customUI folder. Hope this might help Rici |
Just one request... is there anyway you can make the bags 3/4 size? Otherwise I love it. it just became the first complete UI I've ever downloaded. :-)
|
i dropped in one of the other mods - can't remember the name now, but that was just for 3/4 bags - worked fine
Also, I have the eq2map thing installed fine, with no problems :) |

you should have one file missing like eq2ui_ProgressbarStyles.xml or eq2ui_ImageStyles.xml |

Thanks for your help Greetings Amush PS: It's the 1600x1200 ini i used |
hmm
Ya i got the double maintain window, i just invised it (that what everyone did?) Also for the missing bar, it just changed the graphic so find where it was before and right click there and turn on the background now.
|
Hello :)
It's not a double window but the Maintained buff have been put in copy in the player window. To remove the regular maintained window you just have to switch it off (you will find the hotkey for this window in Options/user interface) To view the Effects window if it's not there, just activate it using the same way as the Maintained buff (Options/users interface) |

i removed the maintained window with alt+m, this worked. I also can swith on and off the effects window, but there is nothing showing, no eat, no drink, no effect. Just empty. And the efects window on top under the questwindow is missing totaly. Amush PS.: It's the 1600x1200 inifile, with the 1200x1024 inifile the effects are shown |

That was the Problem, i resized it and my effects appeared. I also enabled the background. :) Thank you very much for your help and your time. I like your UI very much. Keep on this great work. Amush |
Simply beautiful.
Loved the enhancements made. I did not use the ui.ini file you included, because I wanted to see if that would solve my chat window problems. Everytime I load up on the previous versions my chat windows will be askewed slighty such as a new chat window will be open with all the options not enabled in the other windows or some of my other chat windows will have extra options enabled. Well to try to solve the problem I got did not load the included ui.ini file and deleted the old one. I loaded, configured all the windows, camp to desktop, reloaded eq2 and the windows for chat are still a mess. Any thoughts? |
Try to use the ini file I have provided in the last package because I made it with the most basic chat.

lost it again

Hello All :)
Here is some screenies of the new version thaht will arrive soon. This new version include: Total bottom part sized down Abilities for the user to customize the UI: Power bar with possible disabled graphic corner to move it where you want in the bottom UI Tradeskill exp can be disable All stats, coin page can be disable |
YAY!
I just noticed that you got the time on that blue and white thing Ive never been able to see the point of, how?? My game time appears bottom left of my screen and my local time appears bottom right! Least that part makes sense now *giggle* |
lost?
Ok some how I lost my chat window and i am not able to get it back
|
All my hotbars are blacked out instead of grey ? Any ideas whats wrong. I downloaded the 5.5 and made its own folder for it. So no old items are being used.
|
If you were using the Hotkey with labels it's normal cause I forgot to skin it again with V5.5 version.

One thing I dont understand Perdy, and aye I know you're adapating Tyaes mod.
I can edit dds files no problem, but why is mip maps enabled on them? I thought the idea of mip maps was to help speed up drawing stuff at a distance and as you got closer, ie the further away you are, the less detail you need etc. I can edit the biggest picture no worries, removing all the bits on the bottom I dont want, but as you get down to the smaller ones it becomes impossible, am I doing something wrong and why isnt the hud just one set of images and not 8? Ive looked at the graphic area of the forums and theres nothing that seems to explain this! |
Quote:
If you wan to modify your DDS file and have Mip map updated, DON'T accept to show them while opening the file. Make your modification then while saving, select Generate MIP MAPS :) |
