I have the same problem... Manualy updating eq2maps works but not if I tell it to autoupdate on start.

Been useing ExtremeUI for about 3 months and find it Fine, Grat Job.
The other day i had to send a bug report and once i filled the report out i couldnt send it due to the send button was greyed out, i asked a Guild mate who uses extreme also and his does the same ,i asked a diff person who uses SOE ui and it works fine.
Donno if this been reported srry if it has & hope ya can fix it

inventory window not compatible?
 

HI all..just downloaded Extreme to my satisfaction. Got it up and running..and the only thing that i seem to be missing is the target window in the middle. And i keep getting an error saying that the inventory window is not compatible with the current client. Any quick fixes for this? Any help is appreciated. =)

Oops thought I had fixed that, will go back and get it it when I up the inventory.

Thats because you just happen to install eXtreme on a Patch day where a new inventory was added. As soon as I get home tonight from ball games I'll get that patched.

You can open up eq2ui_inventory_inventory.xml and add version="2.0.0" just after the fist <Page and the inventory should work, you'll just me missing the added earring slog untill I get it patched later tonight. If not just delete that file and don't update untill later.

I won't get this patch in untill around 11pm or a bit later CST because I am booked at the ball fields tonight.

A LU25 inventory is on the updater and ready for you EQ2'ers :)

Note to people having trouble submitting a CS ticket. The RED text that is say blah blah foreign files found. You might want to check into that as the help window hasn't been included in the extreme mod for a bit. ( Forgot I did fix it, I took out that window lol )

I'll be pushing the other LU25 changes live tonight :)

at the botto of the launch screen is greyed out tab called parser. how do i activate it?
also in the screen shot on the right side of the screen is what looks like a
combat log but on my screen is just a grey resizable window

To get the parse button to ungrey you have to have a log file selected in the settings. It's only used for the media player, it doesnt do any combat stats. I also have the media player removed in the dev version as no on really uses it and there are more powerful ones out you can use. Maybe when I get more time I'll add the parser back in or in another app.

Hmm combat log? The only thing I have on the right side of my screen is two chat windows that have my hits and hits me filter in them.

Can anyone make a Tking player window with the click a cure. I dont want to give it up, and I am not having any luck doing it myself. Can anyone make one?

A sneak peek of upcoming changes to eXtreme :)

Keep in mind that this is in heavy dev and is basically a new skin for the none hud windows. You'll be also be able to use the old or new skin. People just wanting to use eXtreme skins can also just drop in the few files and the default window will be skinned.

When one of the four icons pop up just click on it and you'll cure urself. Save for any of the 5 group members.

I installed the eXtreme 3.22 and then when I entered the game everything was jumbled up. Can someone offer a little advice on how to set it up like in the screen shots. Thanks

NVM, it was not saving the UI when I clicked on save, just had to go in and manually rename and save the correct UI from the UI Settings folder.

Awesome UI. Really like the autoupdate and the fact that u can exclude files.

Tried this UI out before but I have a 26" LCD with max resoloution of 1280x768 so it kind of took up a lot of the screen. Decided to give it a go again and this time it is extremely neat.

So far no glitches I havent been able to deal with

Coin Icon Problems
 

Hi Landiin,

Didn't know if you knew but the coin amount is overlapping the coin icon on the inventory window. The icon looks fine until you update the amount of coin you have then 'voila'...

I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

Yes noticed that my self lol. Its kind of strange because there isn't any text there, its an icon using dynamic data. Kind of like it's drawing the coin and the text over the coin. I'll have to add a text filter to it to stop it.

It would be usefull for the data for this excellent feature to be backed up some how so it can be imported back into the application after an update.

ATM the data is wiped out after every update.

Make sure aucp_Notes.xml and aucp_QuickCharSwitch.xml files are included in the exclude list. If they are on the exclude list they will never get updated. If they are on the exclude list then it is possible they are currupted and MSXML is chokeing on them and not saveing. In that case delete them two files and let AUCP download new ones.

Please Please PLEASE... Break the 2 XP Bar/Numerals again. I loved having AA on bar or Crafting on Bar and ## on Adv XP.

Been faithful user (And now including 90% of guild using this) since Waaaaaaaaaaaay back.

Not quite sure what you mean. Adv, TS, Guild and AA exp bars are still there. They now have the large exp numbers to go along with each one and not just the Adv exp.

Let me know what you don't' like about it and I'll see if I can tweak it to your liking. If not I can dig up the old exp window.

From the main menu do eXtreme->Update, if update is greyed restart AUCP by doing Start->Program Files->eXtreme->eXtreme AUCP.

As to why your connection is getting desconnected is beyond the scope of this help thread.

I don't want them going along with each other (unless selected to do so) basically.

I liked having 2 seperate XP meters up. Don't dig the sword graphic for XP, so I like keeping AA or Trade on Bar and Adv XP on Numbers. If I could just get that file back, I'd block it from being updated.

I just downloaded and installed eXtremeUI, but my interface doesn't look like the screenshots at all...just looks like the normal Default UI, but with windows moved around so I can't read much....any ideas?

You should already have it. Look in your eXtreme folder under legacy_windows

When you run the AUCP and it is don't updating it should say eXtreme isn't set to you default ui and ask if you want to set it to it. Click OK then when the settings window open click on default and then save. The you need to pick a char you will be playing with eXtreme and then a uisettings.ini file and click save.

I do that, but it doesn't do much...it sets the windows to where they look like they should approximately be, but it's still the default UI. It also tells me eXtreme isn't set to default UI every time I run AUCP, even though I always hit OK, select my character, resolution, and hit save.

you can only see 5 people in group 4 the window won't resize large enoughto se the 6th
2) templar pet when you click the attack icon it makes you target the hammer so it attacks nothing. have to manually type /pet attack
3) exp window sometimes the aa exp says up when you switch views ( to like crafting) making it hard to see true value. have to keep clicking till it fixes itself

Well, I got it to work somehow (no idea how I managed it)...but in groups, I get spammed with messages like "Could not find spell book entry for Cure Noxious" and "Could not find spell book entry for Greater Restoration"...I play a necromancer, I don't have any useful cures or buffs to give people. How do I turn that off?

1. The raid window isn't modified so your using the default raid window.

For the guild logo;

Look in UI\eXtreme\user_settings\images for the image to edit. There is also a template image you can use to make one.

I know about this, what it is, is you clicking on the cure buttons that are not visible. I'll have that fixed in the next day or two.

I'm having troubles during the install process of the UI...I have used it in the past and love it...

what happens during the install...it does it's downloading thing and it gets about half way through it and I get an error for different dll files that something can't be found in them...I uninstall then try again it finally gets to the end and I click finish and it crashes.....have never had this much problem in the past

Hopefully a solution can be found cause IMHO EQ2's interface bites since I've gotten used to eXtreme UI
