I just recently switched to the fetish UI, and I love it. Im a very visual spatial person and as a templar, I need to keep an eye on hps bars all the time. Your UI is perfect for me.

I have a few questions and despite dredging through stuff I cant find an easy answer.

1. I prefer a horizontal maintained spell window with duration of spells visible all of the time (I like to be able to see when my debuffs and reactives are about to time out- actually knowing the exact seconds lets me maximize when i cast the spell again, so that the new spell goes active as the old spell dies.) Is there an easy way to do this, or am i going to have to mix and match this window.

2. I used to have Profit, and i loved their gadgets. But the bleeping UI gave me massive headaches, as i could never tell which hitbar was whose. Not good when you are the healer. But, I would really love a manastone timer. How can i do that with your UI?

3. Another gizmo from Profit that I dont want to live without, is the little window that lets me tell whether I myself have been poisoned, traumaed, etc. As far as I can tell, I have to dredge through the effects window to figure out whether I've taken a debuff.

I hope ya can help me with these, regardless, ya have another Fetish devotee. It took me days to get used to Profit. I switched from Profit to Fetish, and was up and running and thrilled in less than an hour. And, i could see again. I play on a standard sized monitor, and with a raid window, chat, group windows all up, i had only a 6 inch by 4 inch of truly visible stuff. And, I do make all my windows transparent, but they still end up crowding into things. Now I can see again. YEAH.

Hey Zonx, went to use the ole trade window and noticed it was back to a 6 slot. I was kinda used to the 9 slot, and wondered..why the change back?

I was able to take the following few modifications and incorporate them into my Fetish without harm.

I had to fiddle around with some XML files as far as what to overwrite etc. so I didn't hose the Fetish, but I did manage to get it to work fine. I am no way a coder or anything of the like, but can usually fiddle around enough to figure it out for myself with huge headaches LOL So unfortunately, this is the best help I can be as I am lucky enough to get things to work together for myself LOL but you can always try to ask the authors if you run into any problems. For the most part, things are pretty self-explanatory (or I would not have been able to figure them out LOL), so good luck and happy trails!

P.S. ~ If you are as anal as me about Fetish, you will be slightly disappointed to know that if you use Jaxel's Startbutton, it will not adopt the Fetish Nightfall Theme (if you are using it) and colors. I know it's possible to make it do so, but that is beyond my ability. Goldi's Startbutton is real nice also(and adopts the Fetish themes) and does most everything Jaxel's does, but does not incorporate the Manastone button in the same fashion. Good luck!

SOE recently changed it back to forcing a 6 Player Trade Window. Until they decide to allow it once more, you are out of luck.

Ktyak, Titlebar on = no chat input stealthing for that window.

Aikaf, usually a result of replacing eq2ui.xml with the default file or one from another mod. Open your copy in Notepad and set the first page object's Size="1280,1024"

Dashane, addons for those features haven't been created specificly for Fetish. Fyndolyn provided a nice list of some window mods that should get you what you want though they may not adopt the Fetish theme.

If someone has reskined any of these for Nightfall, please upload them as Addons.

hiroprotagonist, SOE disabled the extra 3 slots so I removed them to conserve space.

ZONX, i have not read all these posts, but i have a request. sorry if you have answered this already.

in some of the other interfaces, there are quick icons to auto adjust stuff like display options, open close bags, etc.
could we get a few of these extra buttons? i especially like one where it will change the display settings very high for taking screenshots then adust it back to normal. one of these would be great.

just a request/suggestion.

I just uploaded Goldi's Startbutton "repackaged for Fetish" as a Nightfall addon. It's a straightforward repackaging, just meant to streamline the install of the StartButton add-on into Fetish. It does all of what you ask and more.

That you might be able to find under thor's add'ons as he has that in his UI, and it should be his startbutton mod if the add-on in available

These should all be cosmetic changes that wont affect Nightfall or Classic but if someone spots problems on test, plz let me know and I'll look into it.

Guild Bank Window
 
First, love the UI. Is anyone else not able to see the guild bank window? I see a big black box and the items in the inventory. If the guild bank window has buttons (or anything :), I have no clue! :)

Can't get the Tradeskill windows too work
 
Installed everything per setup instructions but still can't get the tradeskills windows too show the way they are in the pictures, no buff bar for making the crafting easier too work with. Please let me know what I need too do too fix this or are you working on the problem.

Feature Request: Cancel effects with double click in maintained window
 
Hi!

First, I love your mod. I play a coercer, and some times I have to really fast stop my own dots or other effects to make mezmerize work. It would be very cool if I could do this with a double click on the icon in the maintained window, I don't know if this is mod'able, but if it is please think about doing it in the next version.

When i delete the "eq2ui_hud_zoning.xml" file, the the zone window will looks like bad. It is shifted and much too small!

Maps Dont Track With Movement and Map Icons
 
Since i have installed nightfall, my maps wont switch from east to west, and on the rare occasion that they do switch the icons dont track with the map.

Fantastic mod, best out there. Been using it for some time, now.

I got your new version, did a complete fresh load after deleting the old UI, file and all, and deleting the Specific character player UI's by name and went back to default.

New installation works fine except I no longer have the streamlined persona/stats bar.

I have the box style, it is yours, but just not the streamlined one like pre-patch.

Am I missing something or has it been taken away with your update?

Thought I'd post a couple bugs I have. I wonder if they're because I use a few other mods, but as far as I can tell they're unrelated.

The sort button brings up a blank borderless black box similar to the box that came up when trying to use the guild bank, except this is completely blank. Also, I'm unable to edit my own character notes in the guild window.

This has been addressed several times before in this thread and others, I think it's due to the drop down menu plugin for selecting other maps. I believe it's caused by having the map window open while crossing over to another map (like from antonica west to east.) If you delete that plugin it will resolve the issue I think. (You loose the load any map drop down menus, however) Or I believe Zonx has included a button so that you can load the correct map with the dropdown menu, then set that map as default for that zone to correct the issue. Not certain about that, however, as I get rid of that plugin.

I believe he has temporarily moved it to a push button on the top middle of the persona window. Bring up your persona window (which now looks like a skinned version of the default) and you should see a clicky in the middle of the title bar that brings up the persona bar.

Conning bug
 
Hey zonx i have noticed this, well quite awhile back but finally got around to posting it lol. This is in reference to the nightfall v.4.7. (if not also the others) con system (formal name in options: NPC Evaluation).

the following statement i am typin is as i am within maj 'dal and i will give the descriptions of both options available in options on several mobs. and "box"= what you see in the target box (typically located below your player name and hp box), "mob" = what you see on the mob it's self (and im sayin the mob names under the box's for placement reasons):


a Tears Grifter
-Detailed (arrows) option:
Mob: shows, ^^^
Box: shows, ^^^, a tears grifter, level 55 heroic
-Simple (Frames) option:
Mob: shows it as heroic with the fancy frames
Box: a tears Grifter, HEROIC, level 55 heroic

a Maj 'Dal citizen
-Detailed (arrows) option:
Mob: shows, ^
Box: shows, ^, a maj dal citizen, level 52
-Simple (frames) option:
Mob: shows it as heroic with the fancy frames
Box: shows, a maj dal citizen, HEROIC, level 52

a Dervin Theif
-Detaild (arrows) option:
Mob: shows, nothing (no up or down arrows)
Box: shows, a dervin theif, level 50

So from this you should be able to see what i mean when i say there is a bug in there somewhere lol as the epics do not match up and neither does a non heroic ^ mob lol and what ever else dosent, sry very busy in game to be able to look back over what i typed lol.


Hope you can fix this problem lol as it creates alot of misunder standing if you are using the "Simple (frames)" option as the other option is the correct conning of the mobs.

I mentioned they redid the target windows to Zonx and he did update that but he failed to update the actually mob itself(stuff above the mob not the target window). If you load the default UI you'll see that when you target the mob it's been redone and in Fetish it still using the old style.

No, that is not the case...but someone else just replied that he has left that bar out of the newest update.

Hope he puts it back in.

That was one of my favorite things about the mod.

Meridius, 4.7 does contain the revised Personabar, which can be opened via a button in the titlebar of the standard Persona window.

Shaggineq2 and Kromulis, I've rechecked the Proxyactor file mob name area code and its identical to the current SOE code.

I don't see what from the provided samples is inconsistent.

SOE only provides 1 border graphic for all arrow ups 1-3, which they call the heroic tier. In Nightfall targets, this fancy border is replaced with a graphical text label HEROIC. Nothing I can do will force a differentiation on the graphic between 1, 2 and 3 arrow ups. Same goes for no arrows and 1 down using the AVRG graphic or double and tripple downs using the WEAK graphic.

I have requested SOE provide us with seperate graphic indicators for each arrow value.

Also be aware, an encounter can be labeled epic (per the small text) while none of the individual mobs in the pack are epic (indicated by the graphical label in the target window and fancy borders around mob name). Zek Vallon Savage packs are one example of this. No individual mob in the pack is epic, but the combined strength of the pack makes it an Epic encounter.

Individual mobs that are Epic will show an EPIC graphical label with epic boarders around the mob name.

Please provide some screenshots if I'm mistaken (which is possible).
