Minor annoyances in 4.6:
Target window (which shows what you target) resets to its default size every time.
Knowledge window is really heavy FPS-wise. It cuts my poor 40 or so FPS down to 20 or under every time I open it. This also happened in 4.4.

vendolis, SOE bugged the Arlarm text by removing the font from their file. To fix, open eq2ui_popup_usagealarm.xml in NotePad

Replace with
relax, 4.6 should include the new broker features. 4.5 did not. The popup Group Options are working on my end and haven't been reported to crash anyone else. I suggest you trash the contents of your Fetish directory and reinstall Nightfall 4.6.

Skie, SOE changed how the window resizes around the time of my 4.4 release. Nothing I can do about it short of disabeling the auto-hide feature. I'm aware the knowledge window takes a while to render. Someday I may find the time to track down what's causeing that, suspect the layout is just to complex for all the buttons that get filled in.

This is a question for anyone. Is it me or is sending mail broke with this ui? when I enter a name it does this.

Then I get no such player found. Happens with every name it includes un wanted spaces always after the first letter. Maybe I should reinstall 4.6?

Also can some one tell me how to save my hotkeys and load new hotkeys? I normaly use the origanal knowledge bookk cuase its 4x4 layout but now this 2 column layout breaks my sytem with crafing. Thanks for any help.

Have had some difficulty with mod so trying to remove until complete new version is out. (Truly love Fetish mod).

Question is what file do i use to reset my bags so they are fully visible again?

Currently after removing EQ2.ini from the directory it loads in normally but now my bags are only showing half size and I lose 1.2 the sots in them. they are there but not accessible. cannot resize them or gain access to the bags. Can you tell my what files i need to edit or put back in to correct this?

Like relax i to have the crash when i try and change group option from my minigroup window. thought it was sony problem, but no big deal i just change it via Alt-o

Also the new broker feature do not show up for me either. Maybe haveing these problems becuase i just installed updated UI files over old ones. I will clear the folder and reinstall see if that fixes it :)

Khaymar, there's a fix for that bag problem, described here in this thread.

I've hit a snag. I have 4.6 up and working. When I look at the Persona window, on the bio page, it has an area for emotes. It says I need to have Desert of Flames in order to use it. The thing is, I do have Desert and it's installed.

Is there something I have to do to get the game to recognize that I have the program? Should I reinstall Desert? Is there soemthign I have to do for my account?

I have follow the instruction in the release note file in order to make the personal bar always here when I login.....however, I cannot find the stated code in the _Fetish_mainhud_personabar.xml file.......

Ok I'm about a week old to everquest. I love the look and style of this UI. My question is, how do I access different things that I can't see to begin with?

I don't have an EXP bar. I don't have all those buttons for the bags open at the top etc...

Is there a command to type in to access some of these things? I didn't see anything in the .doc or readme either?

Warhawktbc, most windows can be opened from the EQII button (aka start button). Double-click your bags to open them. Also use Alt+O to bring up your Game Options. Under User Interface is a twisty for Window Keys that lists and allows you to change your window key settings. The manual that came with your game should also have this info ;)

I have changed the code in the file, however, the personabar don't appear automatically when I login in.......... :(

I have just loaded the new 4.7 version.
again im not able to resisze the group window to go VERTICAL foramt
when i put it horizontal, (which i never use because of my layout), it pulls down, but will not show me the groupmembers .. im enclosing screen cap showing what it is doing when i try to resize it
if can figure out what i need to do, would sure appreciate it

Zonx, I LOVE!! your UI. Having to use the default when the expansion started was very difficult, and I'm glad you've fixed most of the problems.

When I had version 4.4 in use, I preferred the 4x4 with the background for the Knowledge Book. In attempting to get the sort button added, I've lost that format, and really don't like the one that is now available.

Any ideas how I can get back to the look I prefer, <with> the sort button? :confused:

I've also tried to get the persona bar to be always up, and the OnHide="visible=true" hasn't worked for me either.

I've got 1 other question. Maybe someone knows an easy answer.

Is there any way to make the inventory window always appear in the shrunk mode? I always use that way, and get tired of having to shrink it on all characters, every time I log in.

First I would like to say Thank You for this great mod and love your work. Second is my request: Since the DoF patch there has been considerable change to the con system (heroic sure does mean heroic now) and my npc's health bar does not indicate the number of up or down arrows associated with that encounter. This is a tremendous help when soloing. Would there be a way to incorporate this into the mod so that it shows the number of up or down arrows associated with each encounter.

Steppin, just ran some tests and SOE seams to have fixed the group window wraping. I did find one minor bug in my file, the minimum width is set a tad to wide. Shouldn't cause any real prbs other than a little unnecessary screen blockage.

First, Zonx, Thank you SO much for a wonderful UI. Now to give everyone something new to laugh at (me). When I install Fetish I lose my HO wheel. If nec I will learn to play without it, but if some kind soul could tell me how to get it back, I would be very grateful.

Tilladare, your HO wheel is prbly saved off screen. Try the following:

1) Log out to desktop and rename your server_character_settings.ini file to something like bk_server_character_settings.ini (incase you need it later).

2) If you run at 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 reso, install the corisponding file from the layouts folder under Fetish. You'll need to rename the copied file to match your prior server_character_settings.ini file name.

3) If you're running at a smaller reso, just log into EQ2 and reposition your windows.

This same method should restore any bugged windows.

Zonx, you rock! The effort into this UI is simply amazing!

Thanks for a great UI mod.

I do have a question though regarding the chat windows. If I mouseover them, then the contents of them are scrolled up one line in order to make room for the text entry area but if I just press enter or say a slash to start a command then the text I type is displayed over the bottom line of text in the chat window. (i.e two lines of text on the same line)

I've looked to see if there is some option to control this but was unsucessful so I thought perhaps it was a feature of the fetish nightfall mod.

In any event, do you know how to stop this behavior and have it so that space is always made for text being entered at the bottom of the chat window during text entry ? (if need be having the space always there would be ok but space being made when needed is better of course)

I would just like to say that this is the best UI I have ever used, I even got a large protion of my guild using it. :D

I seem to have run into a problem with 4.7 though. Everytime I try to go to the charcter select screen it looks like it is to large for my settings. The current charcter or last played charcter can be seen, but you can't see the charcters list, the Play or Exit buttons. I don't seem to have this problem If I revert to 4.6 or the default interface. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
