ahhhhhh haaa I was getting ready to start to attempt to modify the xp.xml file to open the old quick log xml. I didnt even realize you had added it to the camp screen. That is awesome.

I wasnt saying above that you had a eq2ui_mainhud.xml file in the install, but the old add on for quicklog had a modified one there to include the quicklog file.

When looking at the community screen I cannot look for those LFG or LFW out of the zone I am in because the drop down box fails to show anything when you click on it.

Wrathlor u are using a none extreme suported community window or an out of date one. In 2.17.2 this window is not yet modded.

Using version 2.17.3 Dude....u ROCK! UI CP is awesome! Only thing is, even though I used the exteme control panel and added my toons and there servers, when i hit the camp button and go over to switch between toons...none are listed, window is blank. so far everything else looks fine...but only had time to install the update and try the CP. awesome that the notes work as well...just not the character select window of the quicklog. Also, the "Sound On" button still does nothing. I hit it and sound dont turn on or off..just stays same.


Question, since i can find no reference, the Guild logo aspect...how do u put images in there or a logo? can anyone point me to a link or file describing this feature?

Yes you can use your current settings. Simply pick 'use your own settings' when the installer is on that step.

Are the writ and heritage tabs in journal no longer available ... i really miss these features

When I get time, I'll add them back in. But then you do have 50 notes you can edit and stick them in untill then.

I just downloaded this UI and am setting it up. This is wonderful! But, I couldn't figure out how to use other windows from different UI's with this one.

For example: I don't like the maintained window (prefer vertical and spell names/timers on side) and the target windows (too large and prefer vertical), for those I'd like to used someone elses, sorry :p Also couldn't figure out how to make the group window vertical.

Oh and the check buttoms when i'm changing setting are very very light, rather hard to tell what's checked and what isn't

You can use others maintained window just replace the file. But being the maintained effects are inbeded into the start button you'll still have them. ( start buttong = start button, maintained and player window all in one).

The group window can be sized or shaped its set in stone to fit that spot. You could use others if u wanted. Same for the target window.

The UI's windows are made to fit together and flow. You can replace them with other windows but as stated above some windows are inbetter in others and you will have 2 of them if you do this. So it may be best for you taste to use another UI.

Hey Landlin, first of all I LOVE the UI. I think the design is far better than anything else I've seen, to date, and I've been a loyal folower for months now...
I was reluctant to ask this question before, because I didn't want to look too stupid, but what the hell, I'm never going to meet any of you in RL anyway and besides... maybe there's someone else out there, exactly so un-tech-savy as me having this same problem too.
Everytime I un-install and re-install an newer version, when I run EQ2Maps, I have to download EVERYTHING all over again. This takes sometime (ok, not so much, but still an annoyance). So, my question is, which files would I have to copy and replace in order to advoid this in the future?

When you uninstall, don't uninstall eq2maps. It ask in one of the popups if you want to uninstall it. Just pres no and it will leave it in place.. Or should..

I have a 3rd chat window open and for some stupid reason I cant get the back drop to go transparent where I can still read the text ya know? I know what to do its been around 6 months or more I been using your UI but with your last 3 updates the backdrop wont go transparent.

Thought I'd tried that before, and tried it again this time... still had to download 130 + files... oh well, doesn't take all that long.

If you clicked no you should not have to redownload all the files. Verified that myself as I just updated ui. If you run map updater it will just verify files. No need to even do that.

btw still having problem w/ char select, don't matter if I do it in game or thru ui I still getting the problem w/ the color of the xp bar. GF's puter same prob too. Pain to have to restart game from desktop to correct. any input to resolve appreciated

Thats a known Sony issue that they don't seem to care about no matter how many bug reports gets thrown at it.

Not much we can do till it comes up on their bug radar screen. :(

Hey Landiin,

I am also haveing a problem with the Charator Select screen on the logout window. I did a complete clean install and used the CP to add the names and servers. CP is AWESOME btw.
