The reason is that profit.tga was change in 2.8 to DDS format and is now profit.dds. You *may* be able to just rename the gold file accordingly if you don't have a converter, I'm actually not sure whether the engine will identify it correctly or choke on it.
Maybe I'll put out a complete gold skin as well now that I've got the hang of the graphics. |

Actually the command should be something like "open/close bank bags", but it should be in the same area.
I've got bank on F11 and bags on F12 since the first public beta and have never had to revisit that option since. ;) |

Another great update :nana: having two small issues though (probably something I've done). On the pet window which i keep almost see through, the pushed button (ie follow) has a flashing yellow box around it, and inv icons seem a bit washed out now. I can go to a previous ver of the file, but not sure which file it's in (my guess was _ProfitUI_Styles.xml).
PS just logged on my conj, and not 1 but 3 flashing yellow boxes :eek: |

Couple minor issues, may be me, not sure. As a guild leader I often edit guild notes under officers, so we can check alts and such. Since newest install, I get the statement "(null) is not in your guild" when I try to edit, and the edit doesn't take. Any suggestions?
Second one is mainly for my alt, an Inquisitor, I seem to be missing the cure buttons next to the name in the group window. Were they removed, or am I off a bit? Anyway, as always, great UI, and keep it up. I would appreciate any help on either issue, neither is major, but both are annoying. :rolleyes: I see there is now 2.8 out, was running 2.7.1, will try out 2.8 and see if same thing is occurring. |

Officer notes def work with 2.8, but I don't remember having any probs with 2.7.1. Also from today's update notes: *** User Interface *** - Guild member and officer notes should be working once again. so may have been a SOE issue |

The guildnotes is an issue on the SOE side of things. Several people report similar issues with notes, regardless of UI.

The flashing graphics on the pet window are related to the more visible hotbar queue. I haven't had the time to find out if I can use different graphics for the hotbars and for the pet window, but it's one my list.
I'll have to check what happened to the inventory. It was touched both by 2.7.1 and 2.8. In 2.7.1 I changed the background colors to be more visible. They are user adjustable however (check the change notes). The background image, on the other hand, is part of the same file I touched for the hotkeys. What you are seeing may be related. And on the video settings, I actually have no idea, I just copied the presets settings from the InfoCenter. The easy way to find out appears to be to change the value in game to one settings, look at your recent.ini, then change it to something else and see what change in the recent.ini. |

I notice that in an older release you included a means to swap between different gfx settings - very cool! Not sure if you had considured using EQ2_MainHUD_PerformancePanel v1.1? http://www.eq2interface.com/download...php?s=&id=3492 even this method is a little daunting (for us noobs ;)) but less xml editing, instead saving different .ini files directly through their own custom app outside eq2 that are then ready to be used in game. Perhaps this can be incorporated as a *slightly* more noob friendly item? |

There already is a controlpanel of sorts where you can switch between raidmode and nightvision and whatnot. Check out the buttons next to the EQ button. :)

Hotbuttons
Since installing the latest update, my hotbuttons have gotten messed up. I use the arrows to move, numpad 1 is my autorun, and numpad 0 is my jump. Since the latest update, no numpad functions work. When I go into options to change it and press the numpad 1 or 0 to set the hotkey, it is showing it to be hotbutton 1 and 0 on my primary bar. I havent been able to get the numpad functions to work at all.
Any help would be great. Also, just remembered. I notice that the compass has the name of the zone you are in shown under it. Mine has never had the name of the zone shown under it. Any ideas? |

Ok this may be a bit odd, but ive been using profit ui for a while, and it seems since yesterdays update, if i click the tell tab with profit ui running my ati driver fails, i tried running a few other ui's to test it, and everything worked fine for hours, anyone know of this issue?

only 1 question: is there a way to remove the "arrows up and down" in the hotbars? the prob with small icons is that, if u mouseclick the very 1st icon, u have to click the right part of the icon. Because the arrows to change the hotbar appeared i missed using the spell :rolleyes: any idea? |

Have a question about the click to cure buttons in the group window. I may be wrong but i could have sworn that in prior versions some time ago the cure spells could be queue'd just as any other spell normally can be when clicking the group window cure icons. If anyone can tell me if this is still possible and if so what changes need to be made to the file in order to get this functionality back i'd be grateful.

There was a change to the cures so that clicking them now will automatically reselect your previous target when they are done. Unfortunately, this broke the possibility to queue them.
I had already gotten a report about this and I agree it's annoying but I had quite frankly forgotten about this problem. :o I'll revert to the old functionality for the next release. |
Any way to split the Cures up .. old way and new way ... love the UI and I love the change to the cure especially when I play my Templar ... Say have a zip file of the current way when you do jump back to the old way??

Hmm, that would then make 8 group window versions. I guess I'll have to think of something.
I should be able to do it so that the window will only target the previous target once you move the mouse out off the group member's are, so queueing should still work while you remain over the buttons. Would that work for everyone? I'll have to test though whether this doesn't lead into timing issues since it'll need a bit of code. |
are you going to release skins of the rest of the UI to go with the background? I was thinking about trying out a red version cus I love the red look.

Gonna try to just remove target_previous from the corresponding lines in the group xml file and see if that works. Dont want to screw anyone else up if they like the setup as is.

Findarato, I might. Once I have it set up correctly it's pretty trivial to create differently colored themes. I had basically been playing around with the backgrounds for fun and thought I'd release instead of throwing them away. I'll just have to set it up for the other window parts as well and it should be no problem to do colors on request. :)

I wanted to thank you for such a great UI GM9 and for ALWAYS updating it and improving it. Not only that, but you are always quick to lend a hand and listen to user input. I don't know of any other UIs that offer that nor that look anywhere as good.

I was screwing around with the colors and got a ok looking red version, but I am sure you will be better at making them, as Me+photoshop = bad :p.
I would love to see a red and green versions of the UI. |
Having it go back to the previous target after a cure would be kewl ... Wasn't thinking about all the windows you'd have to change ... ya I can see that as a major headache :)

timer Settings
I wanted to know if there is a way to set one of the timers to 25 or 30 min, I love this feature but alot of spawn times in KOS are way over 17 min which is the max that you can set it to by using the +
let me know if I am missing something or a way to just modify an ini file real easy to get someting more then 17 min on the timer thanks agin |
