:p My res has changed since I got a new vid card and monitor but I used 1600x1200 before Im now bouncing between 1440x 900 and 1680x1050 which is the max this monitor (22in wide screen) will go.
Not sure what refresh to use so I left it at whatever the default it.:D

What Monitor do you have that supports 2560?

Othesus 04-23-2007 12:07 PM

Hehe, I know! I think I may have seen that post before but I just realized that it's twice as wide as my EQ2 screen (1280x1024) 2.5 aspect ratio compared to 1.25 aspect ratio. That's super-duper cinematic wide-screen!

Mine is 1280x1024

Well, I can hit 2048x1536 resolution but I have yet to see any of the popular downloaded UI's come with a UI settings ini for that res. Currently using ProfitUI with some nice modifications @ 1600x1200. I'd love to be able to hit 2048x1536 with it *hint hint* but when I do, the bars, etc don't stretch across the screen and alot of them are not resizable.

Exactly. Two 19" TFT's on a 8800 GTX.

Would love to, would also get rid of having the monitor frames right in the middle of my field of view. ;)

It's all resizable if you unlock it (and disable clickthrough). ;)

1680x1050 @ 60hz on a 22" widescreen monitor.

Built a new system with my tax return and love it.

anyone wanna give me the 2.5k for the 30" so i can play in like 20x19 =P

no need, Dell Outlet has 30" LCD for $1049, go get one :)

tsimtsum 05-09-2007 07:32 AM

1920x1200 (24", 40") and 1280x800 (12")

For the big screens, I modified my UI to display text much larger, like the Chat window, the Quest Journals, the Tracking window, etc. I think this is a very much needed and missing part of many mods out there. With the prices of larger LCDs and better video cards coming way down, not everyone is still playing on 15" screens at 1024x768 resolution :)
