You might wanna look at the Goth theme I already did. Its got a similar silver and black style. Might save you some time ;)

Compass looks nice. I agree the letters need to be larger/clearer.

Killarny, if you could, those DDS you posted seem to be RGB only. I'm not finding a single Alpha channel anywhere. Could you take a look at them again? I would appreciated it. Its mostly not too big of a deal, because most of the stuff is either 100% on or off. but there are a few things (like the compass overlay) that have a fade to them. Not too big a deal, because the fetish one is pretty decent (from goth theme)

OK, here is an early version of the Chatbox in UI Builder. I still hafta redo the buttons and scrollbar... er, scrollbar doesn't show because of my Hida-scroll-feature... (hear that zonx, MINE!!!!!!!!! ALL MINE!!!! *jk*)
Other than that, pretty decent I think.

I never really played EQ1, but from what I see so far, this is going to be one sharp UI.

I should point out that THIS will be based off of the FetishFramework, so you will need it in order for everything to work correctly. The one I am using is Classic, I dont know if it will work in Nightfall as well.

I did a stand alone spell book a while back that might be of use.

I wanted to create a spell book that is exactly like that one but well it wasnt eactly :P

I did the spell book for the tables II interface, well then he did a small amount of tweeks to it :P

I like the tables because its very simple and easy to read the mod.

Yeah I have tablets2 on my computer also. I did notice how similar the two are. The main reason I am making mine this way is to maintain consistancy with the Solaria type EQLive side. The main background doesnt work because its like way too small, and stretching it makes it look funky. So I had to splice alot of stuff. havent really taken a look at yours yet.

Besides the knowledge book, the player window is going to be drastically different from the fetish style. .......

And i am too tired to thing anymore so imma go to bed, haha.

It looks kick ass, like I said before cant wait to see what else you convert.

The part I am really looking forward to is the effects bar and the maintained spell window, thoes are the hardest ones I have tried to mod and make look like Vert.

Not too sure that I will mod those (YET) ... I know from the DDS that they have a number bar that looks similar to the center bars in the spell window. Resizing the window is gonna bork that bar, because it end up being cut off. Not sure if I will do hotkeys either. Definately going to reskin the player window and the experience window. Possibly the casting and breath bars as well. Hmmm.... *shrug* am i missing anything?

it will come out after patch 8 comes live, because the guild window goes through a major change. Should give me enough time to complete everything

Was wondering if you have made any progress after update 8 went live.

Some generic tinkering of windows, nothing worth posting. Since this is based on the FetishFramework, I'm waiting for Zonx to update his first before I post anything of mine. I have taken a closer look to the original Solaria files, and have changed a few things cosmetically. Again, nothing worth posting. In addition, there are several elements that do not exactly line up correctly, will have to do plenty of manual shifting. I would say this weekend is a good bet for any "published materials"
