I going to edit the quest journal we already have as it is realy just a skinned version of Jaxels anyway.... Doing that today..... And going to swap the old info button for a toggle bank bags button insted I thinks.

Tried that file out btw, yes its got rid of the white border, YAY! Now tho theres a black background not the clear one! Boo!

How can I just remove it? Last time I tried the entire UI crashed, tbh Id be happy with just the clear default one!

Delete the file from the UI folder then m8 and it will load up the default one all by its little self ;)

Dammit, that worked hehe. I swear I tried that a while ago, although its possible I deleted the wrong file I guess, but the UI crashed.

Quest journal done now with the HQ's etc ... change the buttons a bit next and thats it for now .... Will post update tomorrow.. ;)

What file do I need to delete to get rid of the 50 Shadowknight stuff? I like the zone loading chat and only want my info to show.

Erm that should only show when you log in, once yer in it should be all you.

It does only show when I log in but is their a way for it to just get my charcter info from the start and no use it at all?

Also...How the hell do I get the letterbox to stay off?

That info that you see at the start is just there for getting the spacing correct whilst making the mods, It could contain anything not game related or nothing at all... also its a good 1st indication of somthing thats going to break (thats my excuse anyways lol)

Open up your eq2.ini that is in your main EQ2 folder
and add these 2 lines in below the 2 that is alredy there,

cl_letter_box_amount 0.000000
letterbox_frame_visible false

Also haveing an issue with merchant windows, dont seem to be able to get to the sell and/or repair tabs ...

Yep I had that problem too, could see the repair tab for example but selecting it didnt help cos it was blank, I just deleted the files in me UI folder that related to guild bank and merchants.

Actually laffy the new default colour scheme is pretty nice, all browny golden, would just deleting the perdigraphics or whatever you use now break the UI? The default windows Im using now for bank etc all use the default colours too, and I like em!

Im on the UK servers... So that means we dont get the updates till about 2 days after you lot.... Hence I dont work on fixing anything untill I have the actual files.

And yes deleting the perdigraphics or laffsskin will not make it use the default skin .... tbh I dont like it anyways lol

Also it looks to me that they are changing all the windows eventualy to use there new style of coding and window ellements etc.....

That also poses the question!!

When they have finished doing this will they remove all the redundant code?

Basicly ending up with probably 90% of UI's and mods on this site not working :eek: ... in one fell swoop!

So for now no more windows are getting modded by me untill I have finished doing my own styles folder that I had started on a few weeks back, But by the way things seem to be heading its going to hae to be able to run every component for a UI (same as what Zonx did with fetish styles etc ..... I think he must have had a preminiton that this was going to happen at some stage)

Hmm... strange ... just use the old one then guys :confused: itwas just the alignment thing i fixed with the mana and stuff having 1,000 insted of 1000 for example

Been working on this stupid guild window for hours now .. got it sorted but i dont know why the hell it just wouldnt accept my set up in the 1st place as once i had resorted the scrollbar etc it still was being a problem ..

I think I need to take a step back here and have a good look at where the updates are all heading and try and build the UI so that SoE updates dont break as much windows etc.... Heh , God loves a guy that trys lol

Oh aye the guild window, I take it then you know that when you have a long list of folks, you cant scroll properly down thro the list to see the bottom folks? I kinda got round it by using me middle mouse scroll button.

Least this one is based off the others you do too, and is slimmer, so I assume anything you change in this can be ported to the others?

So, i have fix the Problem with the Big Font under the Target Windows, which cut somtetime the HP/MP off two lines.

I hope Laffs will inserted it in the complete Mod with his next Update or so .. I dont have much knowledge of XML Programming, so i dont know it this correct.

BTW.. i Have only Change the Font Size to 13 .. but i Hope someone can correct this with the Original Font, which its better :)

Erm. Heh. I put them 3 files in me UI folder. Logged in, crashed within a minute. Deleted the choice file, logged in, crashed again. Deleted all 3 and replaced with original files, crashed within a minute yet again.

Copied the entire UI folder on me missus's PC and used that (was exact same as I was using yesterday anyhow), and its fine.

No I know that dont make much sense.

Also, not sure if its related or what, but I changed one of me notes pages and the notes thingy ended up clear background and had stuff missing.

So, not sure if it was the notes thing or the 3 files. Tomorrow Ill try doing the notes thing without the new files.
