Is the v4.73 patch working as-is on FetishClassic or should I modify anything in there so it / they look right in Classic?

4.73 patch seems to have fixed most issues, however, the guild tool window is still not working for me. The member's filters are basically broken, choosing "all members" only shows a few people, and sorting with the other filters has similar type results. Deleting the eq2ui_mainhud_guild.xml file from the 4.7 release (9/19/05) fixes the problem, but obviously, results in not having the Fetish version of the guild tool.

Maybe I am an idiot. I have read all the post and none mention the issue that I am having. I completely uninstalled UI and then followed the instructions for a completely new install. then applied the patch (before logging in at all). When I log in alot of the items are black boxes instead of what they should be (ie health bars, xp bars, EQII button, there are more but I dont remember them now that I am out of game) Help, I love this interface, and cant use it :eek: :mad: have been trying others and they all work, but none are as good as this one.

Binton, the patch will work with Classic though there will be a few color inconsistencies.

BWShellShocked, yes the guild window has known issues I'm adressing. Should have a new full release up in 24hrs to fix this window and a few outstanding minor issues.

sevaron, usually a result of timages not properly decompressing. Open the zip and manually drag the various image files to the directories indicated in the zip.

Thanks Zonx, the bane of drag and drop is that it doesnt always listen. Put stuff in the right directories and it works great. Thanks for an awesome interface. I was going crazy trying to use the default ones or others that I had found

Is there some mechanism in place that inhibits you from having a link to the latest patches on the front page of the initial download page? If it was there it would alleviate some/most of the repeat posts here that ask about it.

I don't know if this is just an option i have failed to turn on somewhere or not, but i was noticing that my target window didn't show the ^ difficulty arrows, but my secondary one was(like when you have someone selected and they have a monster targeted) is this an over sight? cause i keep attacking ^^^ without realising it, i'm guessing it's something i've failed to turn on but i'm just curious

I had some issues that I could not fix, so I just went with using some of your pieces instead of the entire UI.

I am using your target window, experience bar, and market/broker window(s).

I see the patch is for the complete UI.

Are you planning on updating your Broker/Market window stand alone UI? If not, could you list which pieces/specific files from the 4.73 patch that I should use, so that I do not download the updates for pieces I am not using?

(I scanned the thread, but did not see anything regarding this)

Anyone else having issues using the petition window I can't type anything or click the submit button and the subcategory is only showing as [DEVL] catagory 1 and [DEVL] category 2

Meridius, yes pieces will be updated. As usual, update priority is Nightfall, Classic, then Pieces.

Yes you can snag files from the patch. You should only need eq2ui_inventory_merchant.xml.

PS. that purple you keep coloring all your messages with is almost impossible to read on the Dark Theme.

Not a problem but was wondering if it's possible and/or how would I reduce the size of the buff icons by about 25% on the maintained window?

I popped by to see if others experienced this as well. Luckily I resolved my problem and didn't have to send one. But yes same problem here.

And THANKS SO MUCH for all your hard work on this Zonx. I cannot use anything else, default gives me nightmares!

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but the custom interface into EQ2maps appears to be broken. Not sure if this is a Fetish issue or a EQ2Maps but thought I would throw it out. The map selection menus do not work for me at all. I am running the 4.73 patch and no other mods other than Fetish and EQ2Maps

Since the last big patch I have been unable to sell/repair any items. Merchant windows seem to be broken. Not sure if it is just me or SOE messed up the UI again.

hmmm the issue about not being able to edit notes on people in the guild window after scrolling down some is not a issue with your mod zonx, i deleted the eq2ui_mainhud_guild from the detish folder and that problem persists. So i naturally sent in a /bug about it with a full description of problem.

hehe although im not sure if you were able to fix that in .73 or not as i havent downloaded that version yet or if it has to be fixed on SoE's end.

well any way back to kicking ass and taking names.

yes. the patch is posted, and doesn't take that long to find if you scroll through this forum. But I think that alot of people expect to see some mention of a patch, or the patch itself on the front page of the main download page. Wouldn't that make it much easier for all the people that are coming here? Just seems more intuitive to have it there. Oh well, thats just my thoughts.

Hmm.. not true for me. With stock EQ2 UI, I can edit notes, and everything else. With fetish nightfall guild ui, scroll bar is busted and can't edit member's notes.

What does seem to be broken with EQ2, not specific to Fetish is the selection of toons within the guild tool. If you scroll down, and try to select someone down in the list, it wants to jump you to top of list and picks like the 3rd or 4th from the top. To get around that, I just use the up/down arrow to scroll to the toon I want to select, then edit their note that way (with stock UI only.. Fetish Nightfall is broken, can't edit officer's/member's notes).

i can't seem to find the 4.73 patch that has been talked about. I clicked on Zonx message that saye patch was HERE, but it didnt take me to a download page or anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Great mod by the way use it all the time and have been refering it too my guild and alot of them are using it too. ONe thing that the patch that WoW did they removed the color codes too crafting made it easier too craft and also keep track of what the new skills where. Any way too make the coloring come back or do we have too wait for WoW too fix it with a new patch.

I am having problems with the nightfall Guild window. It tells me there are say 30 members online but I can only see say 10 even if I increase the size of the window. Scroll bar seems bust and even using the mouse wheel I cannot see the other members.

I have swapped back to the default by renaming the eq2_mainhud_guild file and some of the functionality has returned. Although it is still not perfect.

Seems to me there is a bug both with the default and with fetish I assume they are connected but why are the symptoms different?

Great work on getting the patch up so quickly last week but are you aware of this problem and is there a fix?

Quest Screen issue
 

I am not sure if this is a SOE thing or not. Sometimes when I am grouped with people I can not see there quest listings in the Group quest list. Thier name is there, but no + sign to open up thier quest list.

I've fixed the guild window scrollbar bug on my end, but I hessitate to post an update while SOE still has the notes field bugged. Yes it is a SOE bug that exists with the default UI.

Hannadog, groupmember quest list does often get bugged. Its a SOE prb. Seams to happen most often after zoning. Regrouping usually fixes it.

Ok Zonx, you know how much I LOVE Fetish and I managed to find the patch and everything works just DANDY!!!!! Thank you:)

Now please bear with me.... just accomplishing the above took me a full day and I'm PROUD of myself:) but I would love to use the autologin gizmo to just 'hardcode' my password/char/server. I got it all to work except it won't reconize Lucan D'Lere as the server... I know there is a special way to type it in but dang if I can figure it out.

Tried LucanDLere, Lucan D'Lere, lucand'lere, lucan_dlere and variations thereof but to no avail. I am putting it into the top portion of the eq2ui_loginscene.xml where the password and server info is...... any clue would be most welcome. I can get it to show lucandlere but server is not reconized... ok I can get it to work by just adding the space and connecting but it is bugging me to not figure it out.

i tried to make a petition today after the patch and the petition window is not working correctly. on the subcategory feature all i get is (DEVL) subcategory 1 and 2....when you try to type in something that is the problem it does not work and you cant do anything
