ok im trying to get the hotbars to move and they wont they are not locked either is there something i need to do to make them move there all back to default postion

2.5.1 minor issue
 

In version 2.5 & 2.5.1 I'm having issues with the positioning of the bag windows.

When I place the bags, log out & back in they appear in the same Y axis location but are pushed almost off screen on the X axis.

Thoughts?

how come i'm not authorized to download ProfitUI 2.5.1? o.O

After LU 24, I can not use the broker window. It states that the UI is incompatible with the new LU.

I found the post regarding the new version of profit which should work with the new LU, but somehow it won't allow me to access it.

If you're looking for the file and the link hasn't been corrected yet, there's a link in a message (EDIT) below! (gm9, you're on the ball man =)..)

Everytime gm9 updates the file, it goes into an offline state until one of the mods can authorize the file.

lollygagger, I logged in and out 5 times while moving the bags and they always stayed exactly where they should be. /shrugs

angelindisguise, disable clickthrough in the windowsettings.

EDIT: Bleh, either I broke it or they: Recipe window needs some fixing but since it's functional just ugly that'll have to wait. Grr...

Could it be the .ini file? I'm using the supplied 1600 x 1200 /shrug

might be, I never checked that file out cause I can't. Maybe delete your current ini, log back in and select the 1280 option and see if bags work.

got 2 questions where can i post my ini since its for 1920x1200 and second question i had is on broker window i see prices i never put there is that what ur ui thinks the item should be sold for ?

I know this may sound a daft question:

I rather liked to see my char when i opened the inventry screen..
Now i only see the bags and slots avail..
Is there any way i can get my ugly mug back in the inventry screen?

angelindisguise, you can attach the file to a post here (click "manage attachments" a bit below the window where you type in. The prices that are shown are the npc prices so stupid people can't price to low. I would never have put this in, that's SOE's doing. :(

Lonewolf, I sacrified the display of your char for space. It's no problem if you want to user another inventory window with ProfitUI, that will work fine. To use the default window, just delete eq2ui_inventory_inventory.xml from your ProfitUI directory.

I`ve got problems with the UI 2.5.1 the Brockerwindow will not show up.

Here's what I tried:

1. Clean install of Profit 2.5.1
2. Deleted existing .ini file
3. Used the 1280 x 1024 .ini supplied in .zip
4. Logged into game
5. Positioned the bags along the right edge of screen
6. Camped to Desktop
7. Logged into game
8. Hit 'B' key

The bags are along the right hand edge as expected but appear 95% off screen.

Open to any/all suggestions

forgive me bu is it the file that says the bazaar_char name_eq2_uisettings

I've always seem to have this problem with this ui, and always seem to have to edit the groupmembers window to make it work. when i get it the cure icons dont seem to show, they look like empty bubbles(think how the effect window looks in the ui editor). and just now i noticed that the journal isnt showing the rewards.

EDIT: Figured out what the problem with the journal is, apperently the FONT isnt there, it just says NormalStyle instead of /TextStyles.Normal.NormalStyle.

I have the same problem on 1600x1200. Also, a few of the bags has a lot of dead space underneath (when using regular square setting) that covers up other bags when you line them up. Just went back to the baggies from 2.4.1 to see if the problem remains.

Edit: Going back to the bags from 2.4.1 cleared up the positioning problem along with the dead space underneath. They remained in place after re-logging. :)

ugly unsmooth fonts
 

When I installed 2.5, it made a bunch of the text (like the top and bottom status bars and the quest helper) show up as non-smoothed. The text of the chat is smooth, but the tab labels are not. How can I fix this? I really loathe the fonts without smoothing. Thanks.

Bring up the broker window and I see no printing, just little lines, did I miss a font install somewhere?

I liked the font used on the old experience window. Any reason for the change? I want to use the new updates but like the old look.

I think the timer is broke as well. I hit the button but it never counts.

Just sorta talkin out my a$$ here on the market interface, but..thoughts:

Given that there currently is no such thing as online sales (as in all sales regardless incur the same broker fee), would it be possible in the set price screen to allow you to enter the desired price after broker markup? Thought being, when you do a search, it shows you your competitors pricing. If you type in that pricing without doing a mental calculation on what price you would have to set your item at to match their price, you will be over by 20% (I think).

It's not so bad on an even priced item as listed by your competitor, but some odd thing like 3g32s is rough to calculate 20% less than that to derive your price. It's not a game breaker, but would be a feature that I don't think anyone else is even remotely doing.

It would also be wonderful to undock the buy and sell tabs so as to be able to see both pages at the same time when setting pricing on items you just listed.

These are just random thoughts..even without them, an outstanding UI.

You can click on a competitor's item to see how much they get and how much the broker gets. But the other route of a button to calculate the before-tax pricing would be neat too.

BUG : In group window, all my group members ailments show fine, buy for me personally they show as a bubble. In the attack window they show fine.
