Thank for the infos. One more question :) (maybe a suggestion if it's not already a feature).
In the inventory window is it possible to hide/show on the press of a button the firs two rows of equipped item leaving just the bags and weapons row on sight? I like to play with the inventory window visible to quickly access bag, but I'd love to be able to reduce screen 'occupation' since I rarely use the first two rows during normal gameplay. A on/off toggle would be great. j. |
Not sure if I understand: Why do you want the inventory window to access your bags when just hitting "b" opens them all for you?

I guess my playstile is quite unorthodox :)
I don't like to open all bags at once, don't know why... guess I find it kinda messy on the screen. I have my bags perfectly sorted so I always open one or two at the same time. I was very comfortable with Fetish 6-way inventory and I guess I got used to having the bags visible on screen. If it's not possible, no problem, I can live with it and it doesn't take that much screen space anyway. j. |
In theory it's possible to implement, of course. However, all that you need to do is to drag the bags to an empty hotbar and place that where you need it. Tada. ;)

Yeah, that'll do, you're right. But I'm anal, and I'm used to play with weapons and charms on sight. :)

Fix for the Missing XP bar problem .
The problem is just that the XP info in top left bar is displayed in the border of the window. So if the window is in the "black letterbox" area of your screen and you got the "Hide window frames in lettebox area" option checked it doesnt display. So to make it show all the time you just need to go to Options -> User Interface -> Game Windows -> Hide window frames in letterbox area and uncheck the option. :nana: |

gm9 is correct, just a racial trait Erudites get. It does absolutely nothing but hover around, doesn't even give off a good light source at night :( Only time I ever whip the thing out is posing for pictures ;)

I didn't get around to implement all I wanted and really test for weaknesses, but that's what I got you for. ;) IMPORTANT: Don't use before your server has been patched to LU24 - otherwise you'll loose all functionality to use the broker (keep your old eq2ui_inventory_market.xml if you want to use it before that). I did also now create a new official download "ProfitUI Reborn II", but it will take a while until it is validated and available. Once it is, it will become the only location. Okay, just downloaded 2.5 since I play regularly on the test server. Minor things I've noticed so far - I apologize in advance if some of these were pre-2.5 issues that have been brought up before.
In the new EmoteList, if I click on Voice, then Unhappy, I get an overlay of both screens simultaneously. Bag 1 is shifted to the left of 2-5 when you open all of them (using the 1280x1024 ini). I know this is happening to other people's mods with LU24, not just Profit, but is there any way to get the target back in the maintained spells? The tooltips for render/shader in the Startbutton are not reflecting the current values if you change them in your options screen. They are only reflecting whatever the last thing you slide them to. Still having issues with clicking on the Control Center button twice to bring it up if you X'd out of it instead of using the startbutton to close it. Same thing with the Bank Bags and Broker screens. If you don't uncheck them to close them, the control center thinks they're still open and you have to uncheck then recheck them to see them again. |
Thanks for the report fraenhawk. I was in fact aware of most issues, but decided to release early to catch LU24. Please don't let that put you off from making reports (in good test server spirit! :))!
A quick explanation on your points: I know that there are several issues with the .ini - one of the things I didn't get around to fix. The sliders in the startbutton won't update dynamically. The won't show the correct values at startup, either. I'm not sure if I can fix it, but I didn't consider it important to do it so far. Same goes for the checkboxes in the controlcenter, which can't be updated dynamically. The only option would be to remove the possibility to close the windows via these options (like I did with the button for the browser window). I noticed the missing target display in the maintained window on test. One of the things that I didn't further look at because I didn't have a lot of time to do this release but I will fix (if possible) as soon as I get to it. I'll look into the emotelist issue, wasn't aware of that so far. |
I am getting an EQ2 client error every time I try to type in guild chat and hit enter. Any suggestions?

Same happened to me when I installed Profit 2.5 on the Live server. Crash when hitting enter. Let's wait until the server gets patched to LU24 and see what happens.

fraenhawk, I looked at the maintained window and as far as I can see it's SOE that broke the target name display there. The /DynamicData wasn't changed, only it's not delivering data anymore. :( I'll be sure to /bug this first thing the live servers go up (already did on Test). Changelog 2.5-> 2.5.1 : FIXED: Market window sell tab displayed the scroll bar covering the price display FIXED: Market window presets "any" didn't work properly FIXED: some other market window related stuff that was different on Live than on the Test server. I'll happily include .ini files for all screen sizes out there if people provide them for me. My LCD does 1280x1024 max, so that's the maximum that I can support directly.
Just move all the windows around and resize them until they fit well with your resolution. Once you're done, please post the .ini so I can include it in the download. :) |
