If memory serves the trade window is not a true profit window was created by someone else... but as of LU14 i think it has been broken you cant trade more than 6 items (window has 8-9 not positive ne more hence when i found out i deleted mine from the folder and am using the soe default window) and that the money wasn't appearing

Interesting UI and it's definetly growing on me!

One question I have is, I can't find the option to set the default chat in certain windows. I have a main chat window with all my chats, but it defaults to /say. Default has a "bubble" icon in the lower left to set the default, ie: /g. Just need some clarification on how to set this.

Next basic 101 question.... Can you provide any information on what appears to be an "activable" window. (one with the rings, doll, etc...) I just need to know what each icon is and how it works, just a brefit overview.

loving the UI, but some issues. The loc doesn't show unless I hover over it and the bottom bar I can't figure out how to make it appear?? Can anyone help?

You need to set window settings to "Frame and Titlebar" then you can hover over the left side to see the scrollbars and default chat icon.

The icons activate text files which should have been placed in your eq2 folder.

just take a look at them to see what they do.

hey profit dont know if you know but when u goto arena the ui gets a lil bugged. There was no health/mana bar and when i left arena i had two ring/manastone bars.

thank you profit, that wasn't the issue but I did get it to appear but upping the opacity. For some reason default was set to 1.

I am still unable to get the lower window with the resist to show. Not sure if I am doing something wrong. I went through every window and made sure frame and title were set. I even went to this file

eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml

and looked at the memorized line and it shows this

OnShow="show_window=Mainhud.Memorized show_window=Mainhud.Memorized

but when I type in /show_window mainhud.memorized

nothing happens on screen. Anything else im missing?

Its the dark lower area as seen in screenshots - try to right click on that.

Any ideas when this will be update 16 ready? Its a awesome ui btw

My only issue: no health bar for self in Arena.

Actually, I can't play in the arena with this UI :(

Soon I'll have to drop it as my guild is organizing an arena tournament :(

Quick update - remove ALL previous versions - this MUST be done.

PLEASE use the included uisetting.ini file (renaming of course)

quickbar no longer needed as can now drag all items to hotbars - I've only left the manastone - but thats not really needed either.

Target effects only show in con_version 1 - this is true for default UI - Bug ???

Have to go - will get better update soon.

Try pressing ALT+U (new extra health/target windows I use for raiding)

I seem to be having a problem with the merchant window in my room. I can buy/sell from merchants outside my room, but the in-room one just comes up blank. When i click Vault tab etc all pages are blank.

Not sure if this is a problem as of the new update.

Try removing eq2ui_inventory_store.xml in the profit folder

I can't believe how well the new look of the default windows meshes with Profit pieces. I'd still prefer a blue/silver theme instead of the gold, but the default is looking better and better these days.

Error starting up EQ2 with this UI ver. 1.8
 

Every time I click play the screen pops up... stays black... then causes an error causing it to close... Bug?

I had the store problem too so erased the store.xml... I am also having a problem with the bottom bar in 1.8... it doesn't show at all anymore. The Compass is also still off.

Is the clock new or was it always like that? If it's new I like that. Great job with the UI glad to see ya back.

Having the same problem. Not sure what step I missed. I'm looking at the EQ2_Crash log and crashlog files and they make no sense to me. :D

edit: Well, everything seems to be working now. Very odd, but at least it's working. :nana:

Yeah the screen was all black for me too the first couple times i tried to log in, and crashed me the one time I didn't close out the window after a couple seconds. I did a full scan and it seemed to fix itself after that.

hey profit, thanks for this update. I was hoping you could just start a new thread for your UI for 1.8. keep this puppy rolling, best UI by far.

Late Wednesday night... applied the 1.8 patch.... Useing the bulletin board in room is still not working.. clicking all the tabs show blank pages. Tried deleteing the eq2ui_inventory_store file, no change.


Also, the bottom stat/resist bar is blank.

Useing the bank window... the OPEN ALL BAGS button is blank, works, just no text in it.

Was totally blown away with this UI and will change to something else only when you can pry my cold dead fingers off the keyboard ! Many thanks Profit.

Hmm, deleting the store file worked for me and my guildies....

I have several things to update today, but wont be able to test them until I get home from work.

I will say though that I will not be including the timed manastone message as my quickbar is no longer needed as nearly all items can be activated from a hot bar!

Carpets, Horse, Rings, Recall Shards, Mirrors, Potions, Hex Dolls etc....
