I can't speak for Prophit but as a modder my self I can say we too like to play EQ and we to are grinding away again. As much as we would like to be able to push out updates and new options and the like we also play the game. So you will prob see slow releases/updates till the grind is over.

But thats just me, Prophit could by modding away getter ready to release some great updates to his ui.

Just did a total complete Reinstall of the latest Version, yet when I start to load the Character in it Crashes to Desktop. ANy Help would be greatly appreciated.

I am still here, sorry for not being active but I've had real-life issues and also been playing the game.

I will have an update soon, including new clock, fixed fonts (no need to install) and other little things - but nothing major.

How did you fix it? I haven't been able to find a fix yet...

EDIT: Nevermind fixed it myself as well - it was a problem with the other files that I had in the directory most likely.

Hantu, if you are still getting the black Harvest window, try this fix.

Copy the eq2ui_mainhud.xml from the main UI folder into the Profit folder.

add <include>eq2ui_mainhud_harvest.xml</include> before the last </page>

Hope this helps.

P.S. You still have to add <include>eq2ui_mainhud_harvest.xml</include> to the eq2ui.xml file (in the Profit folder) for the Harvest window to show up at all.

RL issues don't have to be bad. What if his wife is pregnant or something? That's just one example, but hey sometimes being preoccupied with real life isn't always a bad thing :p.

Anyways, hope to see any pertinent updates on this UI soon. I'm hearing a lot of gripes from people whose UI's were broken with LU 15, but luckily I haven't run into any problems with Profit yet.

Bugs Found as of LU15:

- Compas Needs To Be Resized to Fix it Telling the Wrong Direction
- Hotbars are not staying in place where they were left after relog

I am using the default compass and hotbars from 1.7c and both seem to be working fine for me, for once.

i'm using default compas and mine tells me i'm faceing east when i'm really faceing north.... (it can be fixed if u can resize the compas but current 1.7c u cant)

They fixed the compas. Not showing true north was a SOE bug.

Love this UI... takes some getting used to but its certinaly the best one I have tried (and have tried many). Anyway one annoying problem:

My Chat window doesn't seem to have the skinned tabs. is the 17c version missing a .dds file opr something whatever I try I can't seem to make the chatwindow skin like everything else.

same, but not really a huge issue to me, I'm hoping that SOE gives a real fix instead of the "resise your compas" fix

I searched for about 30 minutes on this forum for the answer but did not find it.

I recently upgraded from 1.7b to 1.7c and I noticed that the small text on the hotbar buttons is gone. It used to tell you which key each button corresponded to on the keyboard (e.g. "alt-2" or "ctrl-1").

Did I do something wrong to delete this feature? I really liked it.

Was just curious , there are 3 modes on the XP bar.. what is the second mode? It gows Adv XP, something I dont know, and Tradeskill XP. Can anyone help? Also how do I get the manastone and ring buttons to work? Thanks in advance!

Compass problem persists
 

Compass still not working, W stands for N and so on. I agree this was a SOE bug, that was fixable by resizing the compass window. Problem is, i can't resize the compass with Profit's UI :( . Other than that, the interface is wonderful, couldn't play without it. A fix for the compass would be most appreciated though ^^ (i tend to get lost all the time, that's the problem really :D )

The third EXP is guild exp, I think.

Just noticed that the player trade window is not working as intended anymore.
Any coins offered to me are not displayed. Only way to see what i get is my chatwindow. Amount of pp, gp, sp or cp is still zero.
