I like Elegy of Awakening more than Hyran's for sure for the 3rd spot. Only other thing I could think of is Confront Fear or Lend shielding both not so used AA's. Maybe Magnetic Note also not used much but a Macro for that one usually takes care of it (just like Hyran's).

For Inquisitor:
Agree with Small and Large heals. As a third option I like the no rez sickness rez a bit more than reactive's.

I actually agree, so the 3 buttons would probably look like this for me:

1: Heal
2: Single res
3: Lend Shield

You can use these or edit as you like, but at least they work for my trouba :nana:

<Page Name="Troubador">
<Data Name="Button1" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target "Jester's Cap"
tell Parent.Target "You have been hit with... Jesters's cap 50% recast reduction for 30 seconds"
say Parent.Target is blessed" Tooltip="Jester's Cap"/>
<Data Name="Button2" Macro="tell Parent.Target Can I have a Heart plz" Tooltip="Heart call"/>
<Data Name="Button3" Macro="tell Parent.Target Can I have a shard plz" Tooltip="Shard call"/>
</Page>

jojo12345 08-27-2007 05:41 PM

thanks will try it!

Celestial Touch (Lay on Hands line)

Intercede (Damage soak)

Elixir of Resuscitation (Rez) (or possibly Devotion for warding, since you have to be so close for a rez anyway, you can probably just click the body)

----

Pally

Fervert Aid instead of Celestial Touch.
Devotion instead of Intercede.
Celestial touch is long recast timer that usually goes on whoever has agro on the mob, ie, MT. So it's just as easy to cast this targeting through the mob. Intercede is also one that is easier to target through the mob for.

My three:
Fervert Aid
Devotion
Elixir of Resuscitation

I dont agree with the Illu's post. I think the order of the spells is important too. I would use the same spells but.....
This order is more helpful for us:

1. Manaflow (no need to explain)
2. Synergism (a deagro with a damage proc)
3. Cure Arcane (no need to explain)

We mostly use Manaflow, so it should be at first.
Cure Arcane is important too. and on third place its faster and easier to target than on second place.
So put the Synergism on the second.

<Page Name="Illusionist">
<Data Name="Button1" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Manaflow" Tooltip="Mana"/>
<Data Name="Button2" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Synergism" Tooltip="Buff"/>
<Data Name="Button3" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Cure Arcane" Tooltip="Cure"/>
</Page>

Usually on raids, if someone got hitted bye Arcane he tells in raidchannel or in /say, that he needs to be cured and any person next to him is trying to cure him as fast as possible. So i think the wanted curebutton is a good idea for a makro. The other point is that these 3 spells are the only ones that we can use raidwide.

No need to discuss this further in this thread, let's keep in on track, we are still missing a number of classes here! :)

Edit: Updated the first post with a summary of what we have so far.

And adding myself for Necro:
B1: Heart
B2: Rezz
B3: Cure Arcane :p

For a necro, how about our spot heal for B3

Guju 08-31-2007 05:54 PM

Yup... Dirge:

Elegy at Death's Door (for single rez)
Elegy of Awakening (for grp rez)
Oration of Sacrifice (for emergency HP transfer)

Sometimes we're a bit quicker than the healers at reacting to the tank getting charmed than the healers. In raids I also tend to hide my group window, unless i need to be watching for a cure.

Can't do Ember Seed. The target has to be in your group to cast Ember Seed. You could do See Invis lol.

For Monks the only things I can come up with are:

Intercede and Heal

<Data Name="Button2" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Rejuvenating Rite;" Tooltip="Small Heal"/>
<Data Name="Button3" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Learned Healing;" Tooltip="Big heal"/>
</Page>
The above is my setup. I generally dont find that having Ancient Balm on one of the hotbuttons all that useful as the only time you really need to cure outside of my group is the MT/OT and I already have target macros for them or in most cases am already targetting either thru them or thru the mob.

xndienx 09-05-2007 12:10 AM

well, not every conjuror is used in the same group every raid (yes i know) and i find it easier to seed someone from the raid window than target them then click the ember seed button!

Yes, that's the whole point of this thread. ;) (I know I have to update the first post where Mystic is still listed as missing)

Prexous 09-05-2007 04:46 PM

Fighter Quick Button

I would like to see an Intercede button added for the fighters.

B2: Displace Life (single target large heal)
B3: Revivication (rez)

Lorelily 09-12-2007 06:13 PM

Monk

1. Heal
2. Intercede
3. (open)

Zayanya 09-13-2007 02:47 PM

Shadowknight

1) Grave Blessing (reactive dmg+ heal)
2) Intercede
3) Mortal Embrace (for when a squishie can't lose aggro, FD him, almost as good!)

My two cents.

darkrenown 09-13-2007 03:09 PM

Warlock

Just backing up the previous Warlock Posts

Button 1 - Cure Arcane
Button 2 - Bestow Energy
Button 3 - Nihilistics

Aurien 09-13-2007 10:36 PM

The only spell that I can think for zerkers would be our intercede. I'll double check my spell list when I get home to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Subclass: Berserker
Button 1: <Intercede>
Button 2: <Guarded Vehemence>

darkneszraven 09-18-2007 01:31 PM

Assassin

1. Apply poison
2. Murderous Design

I'd say make assist the first one, I use assist 50 to 1 with Appeal for Mercy.

Maybe make 3 Appeal and leave 2 empty for mis clicks? What do you think?

I like the ideas of putting cures on these as well, but that is something that could be custom configured by the user's tastes. :) I too have a button to mash to hit our MA/MT with cure arcane/cure trauma.

Edit: +fav, I've always used Profit for as long as I can remember, am lost without it. You are doing the god's work gm9. :nana:

I would suggest actually having #3 as #1 and just have 2 as balm and 3 as deliverance. this way the 1st buttom can stop the damage and maybe the healer in that group can catch the rest - since we are usually in the MT group. Just my opinion. :D

Yes, it does get used out of group for certain encounters.

gm9 09-22-2007 03:41 PM

Yeah, I got the message, thanks. Actually I just got done redoing the entire curing code and in the process I also added the click-to-cure buttons on the raid window. So the quick raid buttons are free for other stuff.
