If you need more stuff to put on the stat bars.. add traume resistances.. thats slashing, crushing, piercing resistances.

I would like to see and option of the chat windows without a scrollbar. I use the mouse wheel to scroll so the scrollbar doesn't really serve a purpose and takes up screen space

Thanks for the work on the UI, I love it. I'll get this new beta installed tonight.

I can't seem to get Dogvomit's quest journal mod to work in this though. Even if it did work I would rather it have the tablets skin to it. Is this something you plan on doing?

My eyes appreciate your hard work. :)

Looking good, made some adjustments to my knowledge book window mod I made to fit in with your UI.

Take a look, might save you some time in modding that window ^_^

wholesale vender prices shifting to the right

I'm using the TabletsII grey interface(with Humdace player piece)...the problem I am having is the wholesale vender prices keep moving off the screen. Cannot resize this to compensate. Eventually the move right off the screen

I get that too but most NPC's that have a choice of options. The Mender is another big one. After each item repaired the price slowly drifts to the right off the page

I've got an odd problem with v4. I have a light blue line on the power bar that stretches from 50 to 90% that never changes, just always there no matter how much power I have (like a line to indicate 0 to 10% power). BTW it used to go from 50 to 70% but it changed at some point. I have tried the UI without my ini to let EQ2 build a new one but that didn't help.
Any idea what may be causing this?

He fixed this a while back in an earlier version. It may have slipped back in in a later version. Try replace your current merchant window with this one.

That was really easy. It'll be in the mods folder "ChatWindow_NoScrollbar" in the beta 5 version

I will get around to doing more mods sooner or later.. But progress on the UI has slowed down.. I want to finish atleast the skinning before I do any major mods..

If anyone else wishes to take it on.. (Get's it done quicker) I will include it in the mods folder..

Hmm looks good.. I like it.. I took it and mutilated it and have come up with something close.. I layed it out more like my pocket spellbook from EQ..

Yea I fixed the shifting prices bug in beta 3 but deleted the highlighter somehow.. When I put the highlighter back in.. The shift came back.. It was 3 pixels too wide that's the cause.. Should be fixed in beta 5..

I uploaded Beta 5.. It should be approved for download soon..
Fixed and Added the stuff above..
Also skinned a few more windows and elements..
Moved everything outta the t_FrameStyles, t_ButtonStyles, etc into one file called t_Styles..

as usual great work! this is the only set of mods i use now, but for some reason, with the newest version, the stat bars don't go all the way across. i'm using 1280x1024 and they look like they were only made for 800x600 and it looks a little funny now.

even if you just tell me how to fix it that'd be great :-p

Here's my set up .. made a few adjustments again for personal preference ... I'm just used to wher those things were so I changed em so I wouldn't keep looking at the wrong part of the screen :P

Edit: I have to fix the hotbarsup/down arrow things ... forgot about that, hehe.

Did you copy the 1280 resolution statbars from the StatBars folder?

If not:
You have to copy the right width statbar from the TabletsII/StatBars folder..
In that folder is a bunch of folders.. (1024,1152,1280,1360, and 1600) open the right folder for your resolution .. Copy the contents to the main TabletsII folder and overwrite all.. Then when you reload everquest2 it should be correct size..

To move the bars grab left edge or right edge..

I shoulda explained that, sorry..

There it is ... But all I did was delete the exp parts and add in the word Zone in yer name part, hehe. It's also resized a little ... Cause I have to play in windowed mode (crashes when I try to switch outta fullscreen).

Edit: My new UI setup .. i'ma geek and like to change it around everytime I get something new. Here's the edited top bar with exp on it.

Talyns, would it be possible to make a chat window where the chat Display section could be verticaly resizable? id like to be able to pull the chatdisplay box area down to cover the chatinput and channel boxes on my additional chat windows. i alway use one window for chat input and thought it would be nice to reclaim some of the display space in the othe windows.

Just tried V5. Really like the new skillbook, can finally see the names easily. I noticed that the "+" boxes in the quest journal are missing. The functionality is there just not the graphic. Also, the same thing in the personna window...the drop-down arrows are missing from the 2 names menus though the functionality is still there (sorta).

Great UI. I am using it for the first time today.

Quick question though. How do I turn off any of the windows I bring up with the show_window command. Thought it would be a toggle but it isn't.

Replace /show_window With /hide_window

When I load the beta 5, i get no graphics...

currently use beta 3 and no real problems.. but i would like the statbars... when i get them in beta3, they are blank...

I also get HORRENDOUS LAG when i load beta 5..

current config:
ATI Radeon x600 AGP card with 256 Mb RAM
running windowed at 1280x960 resolution
1 Gig System RAM

any help much appreciated.

Did you change the 'images_gray' or whatever folder in the UI folder to just 'images' ?

That sounds like the symptoms...

Love the UI! Much more appealing then the default windows. Wish there was a mod for the quest journal (ie. Dogvomit's) and a combined power/inventory window (ie. Insom's) and it would be rockin. I just installed those over the installed ones but would love to see those mods added.

This is how my UI is currently looking.


I created a new Pet Window, its a little big for now, but it will have to do.

Also altered the tracking window, and target and player window more to my likings.

The chat windows will only show when there is activity in them, or when i hover the mouse over them.

Also i removed the little black baground surrounding the text on the hotkeys, and set an opacity on the remaining text, so its not as intrusive.

I added my modifiications to Alone.zip, if that is okay With Talyns, you can use them just remember to give credit to Talyns.

i really love the gui but i have some problems with the numbers of Craft and Adventure Exp, you can see it in the attached file.

maybe this is broken because i use the quickarial mod within tablets?
any fix of this maybe?

To help contribute to this great mod, i've started filling in some gaps that the uathor just hasn't gotten to yet. For right now i've skinned the Socials window, and i'm going to PM it to Talyns.

There was one small problem I had with it -- when I FIRST started up the game and opened the socials window the tab pane was showing macros, but the emots button was selected. I selected macros then emotes and it all showed fine form that point on even if I closed the window and reopened it. So not sure what caused it but its so minor its not worth fussing about.

I just finished reskinning the AWESOME Journal mod by dogvomit which I use. Really I don't see how anyone can use any other journal :p

Anyway i've reskinned it to fit in with TabletsII now. I'm attaching it here.

I was working on moding my target bar to combine some windows and add some things, so I had this same issue. Its actually amazingly simple. On the main page of the window change DynamicDataFilter to "0000". Now the window will stay up forever. You might have to hit ALT-T one time once you get in game to turn it on, but after that it won't go anywhere. (That might have just been my character's setup..it was an old character I tried it on)

Yes the cause of the problem is The QuickArial Mod.. I use clever aligning and invisible windows to display those numbers with decimal points.. It is a combination of 3 labels and would have to be adjusted a little to work with arial.. In the next version I will make it so those numbers don't change style when you install the quick arial mod :)

I was going to mod the journal like dogvomits.. Thanks for saving me the trouble.. It will be included as the Journal window in the next version.. The current journal window will go into the mods folder..

I haven't gone near the socials window cause I believe there are changes happening to it on test server and was sposed to be pushed live with next patch, which has been prosponed until after Jan. 1..
