I've always been a minimalist when it comes to UI's.
Resolution is 1280x1024. The bottom actually consists of 3 windows, although you can't tell from the screenshot. Leftmost is groupchat, says, raidchat. The middle window is located directly below the player/target windows. It consists of all battle info. The rightmost window displays ooc, auctions, shouts, loot messages. I use 3 hotbars. The leftmost vertical hotbar I keep stocked with individual and group buffs. The horizontal hotbars are mostly offensive spells, with some utility that are macro'd to different keys on my keyboard. |

Updated my UI with some new goodies :)
1600x1200 |
My UI really isn't my UI... first its mostly from the site here, and second it was mostly set up by a good friend Itanius. Thanks Bud.
Also included are the Quest Journal and Inventory mods. ![]() |
There's a few more UI changes that are not shown like bags with no frames and whatever. I usually spend forever setting it all up and making the colors into something more visually appealing. Now if only my chat boxes would quit resetting themselves.
Also, does anyone know of a way to load up another character UI settings? I hate redoing it all, it takes forever. ![]() |
I updated mine lastnight with the new EXP Bar with 2 digits, it's really nice. Thanks to who ever did that mod, and the rest of the mod I used =) You guys rock!
I'm playing using 1280x widescreen mode. |

I took Averad's great "Averad Pack" and moved stuff around to work for me. I'm a Templar, and somehow thing I need those 3 hotbars.

Updated my current UI

My UI still tweeking it: It is a mix of various talented modders original works. Along with some of my own mods to those works. I give credit to all the authors whose mod I have used in original format and those that I have modified to my own liking.
Make sure to enlarge window to see it at correct resolution (1600x1200) I am running it at. I have 21.1" monitor Viewsonic VP211b Flatpanel LCD (AWESOME BTW). |
i'll have to wait for the server to go back up then i'll upload mine
|
Here is mine as of a few days ago...
I've made some minor tweaks to the Arcane Caster Player Window by nastun, namely removing the bulk of the text, since it was way too "busy" for me. I've also added the Name and Level/Class text lines. Since this shot was taken, I've also tweaked it a bit by sliding the player name and level/class text lines a bit to the right, so they're centered over/under the bars. I've also incorporated several other mods from this site, too many to name. Thanks to all of you! :) ![]() |
My new set up ... Obviously I wouldn't have all the bags and persona stuff up. It was a pic to show my bro how much I hate my vendor window, heh. But servers are down so I can't take a better one. I like big chat boxes but luckily I can make them transparent and clickable ... You can still right click on the frame to change window settings though.

These are shots of my UI - 1600x1200
I have the following mods: - Experience bar with %, Class, and level (insomniac) - Quest Journal Window Mod (Dogvomit) - Simple Target Window w/ % (taco-man) - Simple Player window w/ #'s + %'s (taco-man) One shot shows the chat windows which are normally transparent (except when there's chat actually happening) |

My UI Configuration
Thanks so much to everyone who has done such hard work to make the actual game more fun, and get the clutter out of the way. I feel the less interaction you have with UI stuff, the more immersed you can get. With the exception of chat window issues not keeping my settings, I'm happy to say that I hardly even think about my UI now.
I have to give special thanks to the inventory bag mod, wich is just perfect! and the 3/4 hot bar mod with no numbers etc.. You will notice I have a unique configuration for my hot bars. There is a method to my madness! I have a Saitek Command pad that has a standard 9 button configuration. I'll post a picture of it also. I have my hot bars set up with the bottom three buttons off screen. This gives me a hot bar that directly maps to my command pad. Example. Top left button on my hot bar is the top left button (#1) on my command pad. The Command pad also has 2 shift states. So I have 27 hot buttons availble to my left hand without even having to move my hand. It's VERY nice, and the numbers etc..are not needed because the position of the button is how i know which one it is. Hope that all makes sense. The first (most left) hot bar is primary, second over is ALT +, and third over is CTRL +, There are two more hot bars for skills trade, when I go to craft it works the same way. All I have to do is change which bar is my primary and secondary bar with a clouple of clicks of the mouse. The 1600x1200 hundred res helps alot too! I feel for you guys playing at lower resolutions. Kosmos, where did you get your keyboard??? I WANT IT! :) I absolutely love silver and blue together (my case is silver, my DVD player is blue/silver, my TV is silver with blue lights)... I... must... have... your... keyboard... :D
Too bad I'm not a Coercer, otherwise I'd try and get you to send it to me. ;) |

I used the Nature UI by SaintSinner and added alot of other stuff. I try to keep everything as transparent as possible and still be able to read. I don't know what I'm gonna do when I run out of hotbar slots. I hate to bring up a 4th hotbar that I can't use as a hotbar. Oh well.

Well I have a widescreen monitor.. so no need for that fake widescreen stuff of Sony's.. hehe.. here is my current layout.. this is without any UI modifications. all default stuff.. I just haven't decided what I want to change yet (though having the zone name would be nice) .. and haven't learned the UIBuilder yet..

All of my elements visible...
This is how everything normally looks unless I mouse over something or there is an incomming chat message... ![]() |

Ive tried so many layout formats over time and all I know now is a few items have to be together for me to function at all heh: maintained spells, group, target, player, and group chat.
|
Just have to find out ..
What is the circular sun/moon item in a few UI's above, like in Kryoclasm's. Looks like a day/night icon of some sort. Cant find any info on forums with multiple searches and looked through all the UI pieces and complete sets. I must be blind. thanks in advance and Happy Holidays |
That sun/moon thingy is the in game clock. I haven't checked to see if it's working recently, but the last I heard, which was quite a while ago, was that it did not function correctly. Maybe it's working now?
You can make it visible in UIBuilder, under MainHUD, there's a page called "clock". |
Thanks for that info. I got it to work this morning. Hers my UI at its current state. Have used and modified alot of things from various people.
Too many to list. I had to lighten the picture and sharpen it so it wasnt soo dark for some reason ;( ![]() |
Zomu,
The clock does work and well, I like to keep my Ultravision on but only untill daybreak, this lets me know when that is. =) use the command... /show_window MainHUD.Clock Use exact caps as shown, this will show it, you might want to make it a macro... to shut it off use... /hide_window MainHUD.Clock :D |

6 hotbars, 3 chat windows. I think I'm using about five UI files currently. Ignore the little "weight" box, I must have left my mouse over it.
I still can't get the slash/crush/pierce numbers to show up on Insom's stat bar. I'd also like to get rid of the alt+# and Ctrl+# icons on the hotbars, while leaving the 1,2,3,etc on the main bar. Any ideas on how to keep track of ammo, potion, food #s would be much appreciated. Also, I tried to use the cool HO icon that's in the post above, but all I got was a white box, when I get it to work I'll probably add that too. |

I'm still waiting on a few mods to install, but in the meantime I keep mine simple.

My first post. Joy.
Anyway thanks to all of you who did the mods I enjoy using :) (I also have the mods to include stats in the inventory screen and the expanded quest journal). ![]() |
My UI- thank you UI Builders!

I use some interface pieces I found here and there, but it's still pretty close to the original layout. Oh yeah, and I'm running it in windowed mode.

This is my wonderful UI layout. It's a little outdated to what I have now. I don't have chat borders anymore, and this screen shot is missing my 2 posts I recently made in beta (and submitted).
If you wanna check out my screenshot Album collectiong, you can go here: http://www.advancedmod.com/forums/al...t.php?cat_id=4 |
mix and match.
photoshopped to show my guild what changes I added in. I don't run that high or resolution. I'd like to find a way to get bag names to fit better and slim down some of the fluff on the borders of most of the windows. Perhaps I'll work on that. |
