Yea Im not sure, but I think last week's winners got their keys shortly after they were sent to SOE. No big deal though, its gonna be an interesting weekend nonetheless. Im thinking of picking up San Andreas though, just to tide me over til the key comes in.. but we'll see.

it took about 6 hour or so for last weeks winners to get thier CDkeys. My contact said then "24 hours" I have not heard any difference for this week. sooo be patient till about noon tomorrow.

oh np i am patient i have bitten my nails off that is all ROFL :D

So does anyone have anything to say about the latest updates on EQ2? Anything thats really different from the last time they updated?

OK, here goes with a really stupid question:

I have never been in a Beta situation before and feel very honoured. I am assuming that the character(s) I develop over the next two weeks will just be binned when it goes live??

-Just checking cause it seems that if so it would be quite a good chance to check out some character combinations i may not have chosen for the long term,

Yea dude, i think when the game actually goes live all the beta characters will be wiped out.

It'll be a nice introduction to it, so when thier wiped I'll know what to do on release day.

I agree Mistium... I preordered and hopefully will get it soon after release.. I could see playing beta then opening day and having to wait a few days to play again cause my package hasnt come yet!!! If ya preordered they should give it to ya a day early. LOL

I didnt pre-order but I did reserve a copy at the local store here and they said it wouldnt be in until the morning of the 10th.. so I will not be logging in until the 10th.

All you people that get it on the 9th better not crash out the servers hahahah lol :) I know the servers will crash down always have but maybe they will get them back up by the time I load up and log in the 10th.

Give it another hour or 2.. Like Kudane said, he was told "24 hours" . I replied to my redraw e-mail at 2:48pm EST yesterday. Kudane prolly sent in the results say 3:15PM EST. Its 2:07 EST now. we've got time

Yep I just got my key as well. The download is in progress and Im stoked. Its Friday and I have 2 days off. Some definite EQ time there. Woo!! See you guys in game!

Gotta admit, went at it for about 3 hours tonight and it was amazing. The spell effects are really spectacular, I hadn't seen any spells in previous videos. Im hooked right from the start!

Was out with firend slast night, got back and got my key, started downloading, went to bed ready to crack into it this morning.

Alas my girlfiriend got up in the night and helpfully turned it off "so it didn't overheat" - You can guess the sort of reaction I had :(

Well just another five or six hours of downloading left and I'll be there.
