Ok Look in the Fenix folder in your EQ2\ui Directory if you see eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml Delete it and then erstart EQ2. And also contact me in game for faster response ill be on all day, Either Fenix or Fenixx. /tell nektulos.Fenix <message>

Any one having probs with new spell book just do the following:
copy over : Fenix\images\arcane_spellbook.dds to EQ2\UI\Fenix\Images

Awesome UI as everyone has already said. The way I use this UI is that when I solo I move the Orb with just my info down next to the targeting information. When I'm in a group, I move the group Orb down by the targeting information. Since I mainly use this with my Mystic, I need to be able to see everyone's health so I can heal as needed. I've attached a pic of what mine looks like. If anyone would like the INI file I use, I'd be happy to send it over! Please note that I run in 1600x1200 resolution.

im new to this and i have downladed the ui and it works just... i want the same color scheme that you have posted and the when i open my bags they are big icons and the when i hit i its huge like original....

all i did was downlad and pt things where they go am i suppose t tweak something as well?

Im not useing any bag mods, or any thing, all windows are normal except for the ones seen in my screen shot, full UI customazation im working on it will take a while :)

SoE is buncha tools!!! they still haven't activated dynamic data for groups. no active DD, no group health numerical values

I dont know what is wrong at all. I have this UI installed on my other computer and it works fine. I've done everything and this is what happens.

you totally installed it wrong, tell me steps you used to install this and did you try to install any additional mods with it that werent included.

What I did was I Unzipped it to C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI as the name fenix, I then put the eq2.ini into C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II. And i made sure the .dds & .tga's were in seperate files.

Would it be better for me to just re-install it? Or can ya help me out?

the DDS and TGA should all be under the images folder within your custom UI. it looks like its not reading your image files to me, meaning they are prolly in the wrong folder

Well, what I did in the first place was just zipped it to the UI folder under "fenix" and put in the eq2.ini.

But when I would enter the game it would just be the default UI, but with the 3/4th hotbars.

you need to unzip the file , with the file structure intact. Easiest way to do this is right click it and "unzip here" then take the folder AS IS and put it in the eq2\ui folder.

That is what I did, im sorry if I was a little unclear in my other post... I will try this again later and will edit this post with an update.

ACK! ok EQII update #8 is not compatable with this UI :(
Please post an update patch ASAP I love this UI.

When I hit U to open Guild HUD ingame I get a message box that says
"You are using a custom UI that is not compatable with this build of the game, please update your custom UI and try again"

won't diplay the new Build 8 guild window at all.

I dont get that message at all... are you sure you are using the Fenix Arcane UI for your guildwindow? I don't think Fenix changed anything to the guildwindow and it uses the default window.

LU8 is compatible nothing in my UI gets changed from that patch.

EDIT i forgot take the gamedata.xml outta the default folder and put it in my UI folder, thats the other thing that has changed.

How do you get those black bars on the bottom off?????
