First off, v2.6 was a mistake, the two-digit display was not for real.

For your chat window you'll need to right click and select "frame only".

Quest Helper Window
 

I love the new feel of the UI overall, but have just one problem with it... it seems the quest helper window in 1280 x 1024 (not sure about the other resolutions) only displays the title of the quest you currently have selected. This really isn't a problem except that I tend to like seeing what the next step in the quest is without having to open the journal.. I have tried removing/adding the frames, resizing the window, and even changing the opacity and nothing.. can ya give me a clue on how to fix this or what .xml file it would be in so I can make my own attempt? thanx for all of your hard work on this project.. you diserve all the props you get for it!!

Milquest infocenter seems to be doing the same thing.. changing the opacity allows me to see that SOMETHING is there, but I cannot read it...

Any chance I could get a harvest screen for the Tiers or is it there and im just a retarded noob :)

not sure what exactly I did, but it seems to be working now.. I had already dl'd and installed today's update zip and that is when it seemed to be messing up, so I wiped out the entire dir, redl'd and installed, turned off smooth fonts, and rebooted like 6 times and it finally worked.. Kudos just the same.. hehe

I'm not sure if this is just me but ever since I loaded up the latest version I appear to have lost the percentage on the Target and Implied Target's hitpoint bar. I also seem to have a problem with the brokers atm, while I can double click and search for anything I want to sell I can't appear to do any searches from the buying tab.

Do u think this is a duff install and I should just try again...or is this something else? :)

It is not just rename version.

v2.5.5 is later version than v2.6 :)
(If I remember exactly, eq2ui_mainhud_target.xml, eq2ui_mainhud_impliedtarget.xml, and eq2ui_mainhud_player.xml are changed)

If it happened at only first zoning of each play session, just normalcy.
When first zoning of each play session, EQII client doesn't have data of your character detail yet, so dummy data are displayed. (It is not recognized in default UI due to zoning picture cover whole screen)

The previous version of Profit had all of the heritage, writ and lore quests in the journal. This one doesn;t seem to have it? Am I missing something or is it just a feature removed now???

Sorry for thwe questions. Would REALLY REALLY appreciate anyone's help. Amazing skin and would hate to use anything else.

I had a similar problem... it seems that if you do the sell search and then go to a buy search it won't work... what you need to do is reset the search before you start a buy search and then it should work fine. It took awhile to figure this out cause it doesn't look like there is a need to, but it worked for me...

on the other side, I just installed 1.5.5 this morning and have crashed twice so far. Once when I was looking through book of knowledge at spells, and another time while I was zoning out of N Qeynos. I am running at 1280x1024 but I will openly admit that it could be a heat issue... I have had heat issues before, though they've gone down substantially since I've gone water cooling, though it has crashed once when heat of my cpu went to 111, it was 109 when it crashed the second time, and 108.5 the first. Could be coincidental but usually the heat crashes will reboot the whole computer, these were just program crashes.

First off - amazing UI. Just awesome. Moving over from Thor UI and loaded up Extreme, Integrated and Profit and Profit fit my style by far the best.

The only problem I have is I can't move the chat bar. I get the change in cursor to a move cursor but I cant' "grab" the chat window. This is on a new chat window I opened up but I can't move the main one either.

I have tried Locking and unlocking the window, click through is off. Tried all the window border options. What am I doing wrong?

right click, window settings, ensure that [Frame and Titlebar] are selected, uncheck both [enable click thru] and [lock window].
Then hit accept, and hover mouse over top of window, should be able to move it, let me know if this helped.

As to the HP problem, I installed the UI again and it came back. However, it's now lost again for some reason :( . It was fine until I logged on my character that had items in the sell tab and did some searching. Just wondering whether this could somehow be linked to this new broker window and causing some problems.

I highly doubt it is related to the broker window. I strongly suspect it has more to do with each character having its own .ini file and that the window settings for the character you logged onto that the xp bar wwas missing is to blame. Try doing alt+~ to see if that brings it back, if not, you may have to delete the .ini file for that toon and start from scratch on the window placements/settings for that toon.

Ignore me...found the reset button on the broker window...that works a treat :)

A lot of people have been asking about adding food and drink to the startbutton. A few posts back I uploaded my modified version of the startbutton, It takes off all the sliders (sound and distances) and adds food, drink, charms, ear and primary weapons.

awsome ui btw.... Can't seem to move the chat window still. Did everything I could find in this post and it just won't move?

Still love this UI and continue to use it and I know I was told searching for a specified seller on the broker no longer exists but I just out of curiousity searched it on default. It is under advanced searches if you want to search by seller... how do I make it so that I dont have to use the profit UI market window? I really miss searching sellers this way.

Is about the best that can be done atm I would think, as not all people use EQMap :eek: or the spoiler project :rolleyes: and some folks dont like the Press Enter to Loot either.

However I did notice GM9 forgot to add a link in the ProfitII area for the Just Press Enter To Loot, shame shame, cause it still works just fine :nana:

Possible Bug with this UI?
 

I'm in PoA and exp is going good.. lets say i'm at 65.9% and we kill a mob, to my suprise it drops back to 65.0 (Not 66.0 like I expected). I figured it was just a visual bug and I was actually still getting the correct exp as I earned it. But, when it came time to ding, I went from 99.8 to 99.0. I was at 00.7 and the next kill I got the Ding.

Also when it is at 65.9 and goes to back to 65.0, after a few kills it jumps up by 1.2 % kinda like it just caught up to the actual experience earned.

Anyone else seeing this or is it a Game bug maybe?

I have had this problem as well though I'm pretty sure it was in the pre-2.2.5 version so I can't say if I still have it. But I do recall having 0.04 xp at one point and then leveled after the next encounter. I figured that you can't level while you were in a fight or something (which would be new since I left, but stranger things have happened since then) even though the encounter was two seperate unconnected mobs. I didn't actually see the xp go up then down then back up or anything like that though.

I tried all of that. I get the cross icon to move the window but it just won't pick it up. When I drop back to the default UI I can move the chat windows around just fine but not ni the Profit UI.

Hey gm9! Gotta say, one heck of a sweet UI. Only minor thing that bugs me is the journal. It lacks a expand all / collapse all button ( - / + toggle ).
Can you put this into it or should I just put in another journal?

Yep same problem for me, also the same thing when crafting as well.

If you look up at the top of the left-hand pane, just to the right of the text that says 'Your journal has room for xx more quests' is a little check box marked All, this has the same effect and the +/- button :)

This has probably been asked but in trolling through here I can't find it anywhere,.. So far I really like this UI except that when I import 1280*1024 it adds a whole bunch of channels I have no interest in being in, then when I add my custom chennels, even though I have left all those, as numbers 10, 11, 12, 13,.. which I can't get to renumber to lower numbers no matter what I try,.. Any chance you can release a standard ui settings with no channels so we can add our own?

Or has someone found a way to fix this

My suggestion is to leave all the channels, log out, and then log back in to join your preffered channels. This has wirked fine for me, so I hope it works for you.

Or you could use the .ini file that has the channel settings the way you like em then just /load_uisettings in-game to get profit properly set up, it should then keep only the channels you were using before (you'll need to have the 1280x1024.ini in your eq2 folder)

Couple of minor niggles on the broker window. When I use the "Adv" button as a level 70 Paladin it does not populate my class drop-down. Also it inserts 60 in min level which I like, except that 60.000 is entered. I like to change this to 57 when browsing for masters, so means extra work on the delete button to get rid of the redundant zeros after the decimal point ;)

Also a thought, not sure if it would be possible with the new broker window. I really liked the functionality offerd by the combination of the "Find" button on the old store window offered by your (pre LU24) UI and the results showing up in the seperate market window - made for fast listing of items. Is there any way at all to display the browse tab and selling tab at the same time in different windows ?

inventory overflow
 

Every time I log in half my inventory gets moved to the overflow spot and I need to relog even to move it out of the overflow slot. Doesn't happen when I disable ProfitUI. Anyone else have this problem or have any ideas on how to fix it?
