Slider bars for volume
 

Have I done something wrong or has it changed or is it broke?

The volum controls seem to have changed to 3 buttons, is there a way to turn them back to slider bars?

I understand, but my problem is I continue to apparently choose soemthing I dont want changed, and now I cant get it back! However, after reinstalling ThorUI's latest update and the patch, guild bank works perfectly, and I have been playing around with it all morning setting up permissions and such.

And wait....there was a way to view your bank when not near a bank?!? :eek:

just delete the inventory.inventory.xml in the ThorUI :)

That will be resolved with the Auto Updater but to clarify...
You don't need to perform all those steps.
You only need to do that if you're having trouble...
ThorUI is designed to overwrite every file except the Notes1-4.txt files and the custom video presets 1-3.
So if you want to change something just reinstall and choose the new options.
Only case I can think of where this wouldn't work is if you hate my inventory window, you would need to go in and manually delete inventory_inventory.xml in the ThorUI.

Nothing wrong with Guild Bank in my UI as I do NOT mod it in any way.
Knowledge Book Sorts are there for the TKing "Slim Style" I only need to add it to the Dragon Books...

With the trouble your having it looks like you as well are not using my latest 4.8.6 with the DoF patch so I would recommend doing the whole delete and reinstall.
Note: If you're using the EQ2Map AutoUpdater it will automatically re-download all files needed for you. (You don't have to back them up.)

Someone reported an issue with the raid window and I changed it while attempting to replicate the issue they were having.
Needless to say, the issue isn't with the raid window but I cause the no verticle issue with my trial and error.

I'll file and post to the HotFix section ASAP

The Show Bank while not at the bank was a bug that slipped through for some time.
Sony has since corrected that issue and there is no way to enable it again via a UI mod.
Terribly sorry it was indeed handy to see what you had while away.

Yes, I had to patch quickly to make everyone happy (didn't want users pounding at my door) :(
Therefore I compromised and chose the non-slider option as most comments were that they didn't like them.
I will indeed be bringing this option back with the Auto Updater version. ;)

I'm attempting to refine what I spend my time on as the quicker we get the Auto Updater going the quicker I can get back to improving our options and not "plugging holes" if you will. ;)
With that said, I will attempt to get the slider option and post it in the hotfix section when able.

Could you do me a big favor and login without the ThorUI "using the default" and see if you get the same info?

alertlog: looks like an in game graphic issue.
ui.txt: references a file i didn't modify or refference to "to my knowledge"

Had the black box problem happening to me so I took some earlier advice you gave someone and deleted my ThorUI and DoF Patcher files then re-downloaded both of them.

Well it fixed the black box issue I was having with my Knowledge book, only problem is now my Inventory screen looks all kinds of chewed-up. My bags are at the top and the stuff I wear underneath that or something, I dunno. I don't like it at all though lol. But the biggest problem I have is both of my chat boxes are cut off at the top and part of that missing top is now at the bottom of the box and I can't do anything with that part, resizing the boxes just causes them to grow larger and I never get the top part of the box back, so now I can't scroll up and such. Also the xp bars are still real small and show practically no information. How can I go back to the original 3 bar system you had set up that had my Subclass, Guild Name, and Crafting Profession listed on it along with xp debt, vitality, and all the other cool stuff?

I'd love to post a screenshot for you but Windows XP can't seem to find the program responsible for the screenshot file and it doesn't listen very well when I scream, "IT'S EVERQUEST II YOU F'ING MORON, EVERQUEST II !!!!!"

Ah well, Rome wasn't built in a day but a new comp sure can be...

The inventory mod you hate is mine and you can choose not to install it, but since you already did simply go into the ThorUI folder and delete inventory_inventory.xml
The EXP window is my slim line which is set as default currently with the patcher as the Persona window now contains all that info. "I wanted to save everyone screen space. My plan is to refine it and make it a bit more pleasinf to the eye but I'm VERY busy with the auto updater..."(again this will all change once we get the Auto Updater released...
To fix it, simply run the patcher again and be sure to choose the "full" option for the EXP window.

Cool, I deleted everything again and didn't change any options(I swear!) and that seemed to fix the chat boxes, I lost some of the stupid graphics that used to go right about the actual box, good riddance I say! Thanks for support, sorry to bash your inventory screen like that. I did find it quite useful(once I played with it the second time after re-downloading) since you can open all bags at once and switch to persona window from it. Still, think I'll kick it old-school on the Inventory and Exp bars though.

You should work for SOE, show them what real Customer Support means, for crying out loud I'm not paying you for your services and you have been nothing but helpful and darn fast about responding as well!

Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion and I do agree the inventory window does need further enhancement/tweaking.
I hope to get back to modding as soon as the Auto Updater is released.
Which brings me to my next subject. :)
If anyone has any recommendations regarding window enhancements (even if you're not sure it can be done) send them to [email protected] and I'll see what i can do. ;) If it works i'll try my best to give you credit in the "contributors" section (give me your eq2interface handle/nickname) and if for some reason I leave you out please let me know and I'll fix it.

I'm using ur UI and its great .. except...
my hotkey bar doesnt tell me which spell my mouse is over..
and my invetory screen wont tell me what item my mouse is scrolld over.. wtf? I am tired of the default, and everything except that is great bout ur UI

one more thing, it is blacked out, there slike 3 dots, and the picture but no text.. I dont have it all memorized, same w/ inventory.. plz help thx =)

I would appear to have the same problem as the previous poster. I can live with out some of the new enhanced features (persona audio, etc.), but I am finding it hard to get to grips with the new spell lines without tooltips. Have installed the patch but still have this problem. Hate to have to revert to default EQ2 UI, but considering it. :(

I also am having the issue with lack of tooltips (although I have to admit, this would be less of an issue if they hadn't changed what a lot of the icons look like ...)

Another issue I am having is when I try to use the .ini file you include for set-up (the one that, in theory, gives me the same layout as the one pictured here.) Not only does it not seem to work for me (my windows are all over the place when I log in), but when I attempt to tab my chat window, it crashes the game back to my desktop. (That's not just this UI though, I've had the same problem with others as well; only exception to that was with eXtreme UI ... part of the installer creates that file and installs it with the UI. Can you do that for yours? puh-leeze?)

Other than that, I love this UI, and I can't wait to get it figured out so I can actually use it. :) Keep up the awesome work.

Oh, and I apologize if this is less than coherent ... it's early, and I haven't had my coffee yet. :p

New tool tips are supported and work fine in my latest version.

Window placements file will need to be used in order to setup your windows like mine quickly.

I'm new to this, but I did a few searches and can't find the answer... On the start button area, you have 3 custom graphics settings, and one for extremem performance. How do I create/save/enable-in-Thor the custom settings?

Hi,

im having problem with stats and name in the group window.
I reinstalled the new DoF Patch for the UI and the groupwindow
"left to right" works fine with showing the name and stats.

It would be nice if you can fix the name and stats problem for the other groupmember versions too, because my favorite is from top to bottom.

Is it possible to show the chartype icon (the icon in the raidwindow for healer, warrior, scout and mage) in the groupmember window ?

Instructions currently hidden in the ThorUI folder in the Custom Preset folder.
Usually C:\Program Files\Sony\Ever Quest II\UI\ThorUI\Custom Preset\

This will have instructions more readily available with the Auto Updater version of the ThorUI.

I'll try and get the other versions updated but my priority is the Auto Updater at this time as it stands to make everyones life MUCH easier with regards to the ThorUI.

As for the character type icon in the groupmember window...
Email that suggestion to eq2@durumus "me" and I will be sure to save it for review once I'm able to get back to modding. ;)

Yes in HotFix Section now.
Let me know if it doesn't work, I haven't had time to verify.
