I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO want the old quest journal back. I lived off that from Writs and my HQs.

Please if you find time before you go away, get that shoved back in game. :cool:

Like I said in a bout 500 other post, its not complete yet. When I get TIME I will add back all that was there.

Then go get one that has that, untill I get around to doing eXtremes.

Just one problem I had
 

Tried doing this 2 ways one since it wasn't said I tried installling it over my old patch of the ui and messed up so I uninstalled the whole ui and then I did a clean installl and all the windows appear off screen and all messed up and even with them all unlocked I can't fix their positions. had to go back to the old patch. Not sure if its just me or what but figured I should post it anyhow.

It should install over 1.16.1a with no issues.

Any one else having this issue?

Ya, I just uninstalled everything, and installed the newest version and get this message in the UI file.

Couldn't load eq2ui_listboxrow_template2.xml

Everything is just jacked to hell and back b/c of it.

Well, this is what I do. I backup the old version, run the uninstall, install the newest version, then copy/paste the old files back but when prompted to overwrite say 'No'. This way the v2.16.2 patched files don't get overwritten but the other files get put back in the 'extreme' directory.

The only other thing I did was rename 'eq2ui_popup_claim.xml' and 'eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml' so this way I'd get the default for those 2 windows.

Bugs I'm getting after latest release

Can't mail attachments
Only sees first tab of guild bank and can't access items or deposit into guild bank
Can't move playerwindow from center of screen
Main Chat window is loosing text ... it scrolls up and up till its off window.. have to hit another tab then come back to bring chat back down

Now some of these are possibly Sony's fault but letting you know what I've come across playing tonight

and with the old version i could press Enter start typing and then press Enter again and i could send message...

now nothing happend i click with mouse to type the text

the always chat here option dont seem to working....

this was a fresh install not over old version :(

Merchant window is inoperative
 

I installed this UI 2 days ago and I cannot seem to sell to merchants or repair. It only allows me to buy... the sell and repair tabs do nothing. Any idea whats up?

I've uninstalled the current version and went back to the previous version until things get sorted out .. well Landiin I think you got your work cut out for ya ... I'm happy I just renamed the folder instead of getting rid of it completely

Is NOT an eXtreme issue, it comes from the SOE's code not mine.

SO exacly what is jacked up? I get this error EVERY on that uses EQ2 gets that error in their UI.log file. Its prob best you not say things you have no clue of what your saying.

MAke sure you UNINSTALL the old extremeUI, as in there isn't any trace of teh extreme folder in the UI directory.

All these windows work for me and I just did a new install from scratch.

IF you are level 60 you will have NO exp bar what so ever....

Umm yea, there isn't a preset uisettings file for that and I will never put one out as I can't put one out for every one.. You will have to do a little work and move some widnows around to get it to look right, but a good start would be to pick a setting that is the closet to it.

What was you using before? what ver of extreme are u using now? I can sell,buy and repair just fine. Thats with a fresh install just 2 min ago.

eq2ui_popup_claim.xml shouldn't even be in the extreme folder. It's not in 2.16.2 install files.

It might not have been but I've done a lot of copy/pasting from the v2.16.1. I like having most of my windows looking the same instead of mis-matched in piecemeal. :D

If a window doesn't work, I just remove the .XML file and I get the default that's used so it's no loss to me. I'm just making do until Landiin gets everything situated.

Oh ok, gotcha now..

I only advise the advanced user to do this as a lot of windows pre 2.16 will just not work.

1.) working on this right now.

2.) U still should be able to, I think u need to check you chat optons in the main options window, there is new settings for all that I beleave

3.) I have no controle over that, that is hard coded into the game as to waht window the game gives focus to for text input.

now the bank is a problem

a new thing i found was when i was assisting a tank
the target windows after we kill a moster or radomly in fight is poping out a small line of spells like the one that are in the group...

one other thing is that in guild window under members that "note" or the destription you add is black and you cant read it easily

Them spells/buffs are supose to be there, that is the spells that is on your target ( new to eq2 LU16 ).

Are you talkig about the guild motd? If so just scroll it with the mouse wheel.

I've uninstalled and installed it twice using two different resolution options, both of which everything comes out extremely scewed, even after moving things around it doesn't look right. Debating if I want to lower my in game resolution so I can just use this UI...but I do love my 2005FPW.

Just use the 1600x1024, (this should give you basic layout, granted that bing ur res is a tad bigger some windows will be off) then go into options set it to not allow windows off screen, Unlock all windows. Make sure frames and title bars are on, then slide each window into place. Making the game not allow windows off screen lets you jam them into place with out worring about top and bottom placement.

The start/maintain/player window can't be resized horz, the group window,exp,quest,inventor,compass,clock,target and implied target can't be resized at all they are made to fit into place.

Merchant windows and Mailing Issue
 

Noticed some merchant windows will not close upon clicking the close window tab.(simply walking away will close window although).. and seems to be an issue mailing items... coin will go through but ive not been able to drop items in the selected box Ive tried a few different items off couple toons to make sure i wasnt trying to mail an un-mailable item, but had same problem.

some? if one will then they all should they all use the same window.unless its an issue with soe. I havn't had any trouble closeing them but I'll go back and check it out.

There does seem to be an issue with mailing things:P I know what it is so that'll be corrected soon.

The two windows that I know of that have issues atm is the guild bank and send mail ( sending an item ). You can delete these two files from the extreme directory to revert back to default till the next update.

Message Window messed up
 

The window that displays info about harvesting etc onlyh displays part way and I can not get it to stay on so i can adjust its width

Can you tell me where in the code to fix this.

It is the only window that when I try drag it to a diff play on the screen it shrinks and only shows part of the message.

I too am having the problem after installing this update that all the windows are out of place. I have tried just updating over the last version and a clean install. Also, until you get it straightened out thought I would just go back to my old UI ( Goldi's ) but then all those windows are in the same places as your UI puts them. Argghh.

The harvest window was removed and has not been added back in as of yet, if you still have that window showing up 'IN GAME' then you are useing dated code and I can't help you there.

what res are you using? if you chose the the res form the installer it should be the same as they havn't changed any.

Same file list applies as earlier. This is mostly a bug bix update.

This is the message that pops up telling u when u reach an area - tells you ur harvest level 123/143 etc

That is no longer there and we are using the default??

Also the ticket window does not scroll if the message goes beyond the view
