Its the dark lower area as seen in screenshots - try to right click on that.

My only issue: no health bar for self in Arena.

Actually, I can't play in the arena with this UI :(

Soon I'll have to drop it as my guild is organizing an arena tournament :(

Quick update - remove ALL previous versions - this MUST be done.

PLEASE use the included uisetting.ini file (renaming of course)

quickbar no longer needed as can now drag all items to hotbars - I've only left the manastone - but thats not really needed either.

Target effects only show in con_version 1 - this is true for default UI - Bug ???

Have to go - will get better update soon.

Try pressing ALT+U (new extra health/target windows I use for raiding)

I seem to be having a problem with the merchant window in my room. I can buy/sell from merchants outside my room, but the in-room one just comes up blank. When i click Vault tab etc all pages are blank.

Not sure if this is a problem as of the new update.

Try removing eq2ui_inventory_store.xml in the profit folder

I can't believe how well the new look of the default windows meshes with Profit pieces. I'd still prefer a blue/silver theme instead of the gold, but the default is looking better and better these days.

Error starting up EQ2 with this UI ver. 1.8
 

Every time I click play the screen pops up... stays black... then causes an error causing it to close... Bug?

I had the store problem too so erased the store.xml... I am also having a problem with the bottom bar in 1.8... it doesn't show at all anymore. The Compass is also still off.

Is the clock new or was it always like that? If it's new I like that. Great job with the UI glad to see ya back.

Having the same problem. Not sure what step I missed. I'm looking at the EQ2_Crash log and crashlog files and they make no sense to me. :D

edit: Well, everything seems to be working now. Very odd, but at least it's working. :nana:

Yeah the screen was all black for me too the first couple times i tried to log in, and crashed me the one time I didn't close out the window after a couple seconds. I did a full scan and it seemed to fix itself after that.

hey profit, thanks for this update. I was hoping you could just start a new thread for your UI for 1.8. keep this puppy rolling, best UI by far.

Late Wednesday night... applied the 1.8 patch.... Useing the bulletin board in room is still not working.. clicking all the tabs show blank pages. Tried deleteing the eq2ui_inventory_store file, no change.


Also, the bottom stat/resist bar is blank.

Useing the bank window... the OPEN ALL BAGS button is blank, works, just no text in it.

Was totally blown away with this UI and will change to something else only when you can pry my cold dead fingers off the keyboard ! Many thanks Profit.

Hmm, deleting the store file worked for me and my guildies....

I have several things to update today, but wont be able to test them until I get home from work.

I will say though that I will not be including the timed manastone message as my quickbar is no longer needed as nearly all items can be activated from a hot bar!

Carpets, Horse, Rings, Recall Shards, Mirrors, Potions, Hex Dolls etc....

Last week I accidently clicked the manastone icon. How can I get rid of the "Manastone ready" message that now pops up every time I log in? I don't even know what a manastone is (and I don't care).

I cant use the sales interface within my house with this UI. Is there a fix for this. I click on my bulletion board and no matter what I do I cant see the sales, browse market...etc....

How do I fix this...

About Rings... they cannt be activated from hotbar, only equip.

Yes they can - drag the ring from your inventory - not your bags!

You still have to "use" rings with castable effects by dragging them on your hotbar from their equipped slot, though they can be equipped from the inventory. You need two different hotkeys to equip then use rings such as Ruby Ring of Wisdom.

I'm currently using your new 1.8 and here is some suggestions I would like to give.

The chat window and it seems most other text is now set to smooth font even when I have it turned off. The font when hovering over things seem to have changed, or the font size has gotten a little smaller (cant tell). I finally got the bottom bar to show but nothing appears in it. Also the how do i get rid of the manastone ready message as its kinda annoying since i rarely use it other than raids.

If you installed it as I said - fresh and in a new folder - then you will not see the manastone ready message.

Can't see any of the fonts in 1680x1050. Everything is there, but it is smooshed and tiny.

Any suggestions?

sup, I'm sure many are having this problem and I'm to lazy to look through 3 pages of posts, but since new expansion clusters have not worked outside of main zones, u load in to a instance or off zone and no clusters work to show quest info or anything on specified spots of the map. Would be greatly appreciated if this was fixed thanks
