From your post it appears as if you have done some research on this before posting and I thank you for that.

Could you do me a favor and uninstall, delete the ThorUI folder and reinstall to the EverQuest II directory?
Be sure to check the packages section for any optional windows you may want.

This should resolve any issues you may have.

Thank you for the quick reply.Ok uninstalled and deleted the folder,reinstalled.Still no eq2 button,so I went to options and went to user interface then game windows and reset location for all windows,now I have the eq2 button :nana: .Dont know why it was not there to start with. :eek:

hey Faetyl, i really like your UI and i want to continue to use it.

if i may, could you possibly add in an option window for your installation for a "manastone ready" file, like in Profits UI. That is the only thing i think that would make yours the ultimate UI.

I actually think Sony should add code to the manastone so it changes color when ready and when depleted...
I among many others have sent "in game" feedback regarding this.

I was finally able to find the resize locator for the right side of the chat window (which was about halfway between center and the right edge), thanks to that bug you mentioned.

However, I'm noticing that the chat window defaults back to its original size, just like the custom sound slider bars in the start button, once I camp out. Is there a way to fix this, or is this part of that bug that Sony needs to fix with the window?

That's the window placements bug that's been reported.
Are you using my new window placments file provided in the installer?
If so, my latest may indeed have the Sony bug.
I'll upload a replacement in the hotfix section ASAP that should resolve the issue.

I see your list of features mentions something about audio and presets but I've not found any instructions on how. I'm sure it's obvious but I just haven't seen it.

I found the menu on the EQ button...very cool. I like that the sound sliders are on there. Good thing 'cause I HATE in-game music and ever since I installed your UI I'm stuck listening to it every time I log on, no matter how many times I use the alt-o or your sliders...the setting doesn't stick. :(

So my main question is...how do I kill the music forever?

Just wanted to report that I installed your complete UI package earlier tonight and it went smooth as silk! I love the UI and wonder how I ever got along without it all this time! Only problem is it kept me logged on till after 3:30AM and I still have to work in the morning! (that's not really your fault though)

Been using your UI for a while now - love it, absolutely love it!

Wondering if it would be possible to adapt the Nightvision on/off button to crank the gamma up/down so that we clerics who don't have that feature can pass through those dark tunnels without too many surprises :eek: , (this is the fix that I use now - using the gamma slider under options - works ok but I often forget to turn it back down and then have to do so under graphics settings when I exit the game.) :o

I'll include as an option in next release, until then just save this version to your ThorUI directory overwriting the present one.

Nightvision works for all classes.
In order to see the change you need to have your graphics on "Balanced Performance"

Ok here what i need to know in the old UI in persona window i could pick a title like skelly hunter ,gnoll slayer,Ect but in this one i do not see it .where can i find this at. Thanks witchhunter :)

Faetyl has prepared the persona window for LU13, which will have multiple tabs in it. Since those tabs aren't available yet (Sony hasn't sent them through yet), you can revert back to the default window by simply renaming your "eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml" to "eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml.old"
This will return your persona window to the default Sony version.

It's an unfortunate coincidence that the dark tunnels are also the ones that have lots of mobs just waiting to pounce, with consequent lag. I'm inclined to use extreme performance for those places. This, however, is an issue with my computer performance and not your UI.

It's just plain awesome from what I was able to see!
Granted I was only lvl 38 at the time I was accepted but i've worked my booty off and only lack 7.5% to make lvl45
I've copied my character over again and hope to be able to check out the arena more.

The blog audio recently posted has some good info and would recommend you listen to it if your interested in the expansion. :)

Hi there 1 Prob with your Awsome UI Can't change title in persona window

First sentence of the main post explains this as well as oh say six posts above hehe.
Sorry but this issue is getting old. :(
I just added some dancing bannanas to attract attention to the post.

The updated persona window was implemented to ensure the LU13 patch (now to be released with DoS Expansion) goes smoothly, aka no user issues.

You may simply deselect the persona window during install as stated or you may manually delete the persona.xml in the ThorUI Folder.
This will set you up with the default persona window.

Note: /title may also be used in game to set your titles... For Example: /title setprefix 2

I believe my reply directly above this one also addresses your issue. :)
All I ask is that people read the main post and do a little research. (you may search for downloads and/or forum posts via the toolbar at the top of your screen.)

If you were to seach for the word persona and thorui together you should find quite a few.

Maintained spells keep disapearing
 

I am using version v4.8.6
i checked the hotfixes ive Uninstalled, Deleted the ThorUI folder, then Reinstalled

If i delete my UI setting in the eq2 folder the Maintained spell window will be up. Once I have replaced all the windows to my liking and logg and logg back on all the windows are in the palce that i want them but the Maintained spell window is missing. Any ideas?

ALT+M will toggle the maintained spells window

Also, the window may be positioned off screen.
You may bring it back on screen by unchecking the "allow windows off screen" box within options>user interface.

Hey Faetyl,i have a request,Iam useing your Startbutton you made for someone that changed the volumes so there not always on when you log in.wondering if you can use that startbutton but remove nightvison and show/hide hood/helmet?
