Currently aside from not having a couple inventory slots the old extremeui is still working, for me at least. I suggest those of you that do not want to mess with the bugs use it. I get limited playtime so every minute in game counts. Thanks to those of you in game testing this for folks like me. And thanks Landiin for making the best custom UI in the game :nana:

The only bug I can find now is the showhood button. The other are I can't recreate or is a SOE bug.

However since patch on the 9th, I cannot seem to /claim.

I just get a message (DEVL)Test come un in lieu of the 1 year plus bonus I should be able to claim. Is it just my installation (I updated to current download today (10th)) or has it been missed?

The receipe book window is not working properly.
You can not scroll down, or click appropriate filter.
And the player search window is still not working properly, same as before update. U can not change class or race,etc. And even when u put a name in, it brings up all names as if name was blank.

I had the old load last night and found this.
1 claim window would come up but it was the old version and have dev=ld (or slimilar).
2 Unable to access Guild bank, says UI is incompatible.
3 (might be from my reinstall) was unable to sell items.

I got in and coudl not claim items, so i removed the UI, went in with default, claimed my items on my 3 chars and reinstalled 2.13.1, did not put hotfix in, was unable to sell/repair. (i forgot about the hotfix at that time) Just want to make sure that fix is in 2.16.

I post these casue the only change was min hud, and that may not address these, thought i would FYI.

Not been at home since new load released (went to bed before approved).

Great job on the updated UI. My bug is the Inventory. You have it showing all the items but I cant bring it up and view all my bags so I can replace a small bag with a better and larger one. Other then not being able to see the bags everything seems to be working well with me.

Two problems one should be easy to fix

I loaded up the new ui fixes and dead smack in the middle of my screen is a box with my total amount of health points. Cant get rid of it or move it at all

Anyone know how to get rid of that?

2--The recipe book is a mess anyone know the name of the file so i can remove it to get eq2 recipe book


I cant even download any hotfix says i not authorized to view that file lol

These are the only windows eXtremeUI uses ATM. The rest are all default unless you didn't uninstall like you was instructed to. I will NOT suport any earlier version later then 1.16.1. SOE just made to many changes to the way windows operate.

the main HUD is it for now. All other windows are default. I am redoing once again every window in eXtreme and will put up new versions as I get each section updated. There will prob be no hotfix just updates for the time being.

I will not longer support any thing older then the latest release. eXtremeUI is backwords compatible for now for because of the addons, once I get all windows done the backwrds compatible for 2.15 and lower will be removed.

If you look there is a button on the right side just below the one bag that is showing, maybe press that and see what happens. :)

Just and FYI the inventory you see IS the inventory. There is no alt inventory. Pressing I will make it go away for now, that will change soon.

That window is the Health Hud, pressing the health hud button on the quick button window will make it go away, presing you key combo for the player window will make it go away. If you turn the frames and title bar on you will be able to move it. Oh yea u'll have to unlock it too.

The recipe book isn't included in 2.16+ so I can't help you there.

There is NO HotFix for 2.16.

I found another problem if i changed the adventure xp window.

Game start:

1. I see the adventure XP
<button push>
2. I see the crafting XP
<button push>
3. I see the guild XP
<button push>
4. I don't see the adventure XP only a blank window
<button push>
5. like 2.
6. like 3.
7. like 4.
and so on...

PS: I deinstalled the old one.

first of i would like to say i love this UI its great but with the update#16 my merchent window isn't working now it won't let me cet prices or anything just shows my sales will there be anymore hot fixes on this i hope so i really love this ui its the best one i have ever used..LOL keep up the great work

What lvl is your char? I think I know what might being happening here.. I hated to see the balnk exp bar. So I made it display you name, lvl, class and debt if you where lvl 60. I might of left some code in there that didn't show this window but made the exp bar invisible.

there was one other thing it you have a zone crash it goes back to chearter select sreen and you try to relog in and it says cherater still in game message come up there is no ok button on there so i have to ctl, alt, delete to get out of it and reload the whole thing. thanks again

Nope no hotfix for the merchent window as its not part of the UI as of 2.16.1. If you are still seeing the extreme merchent then you didn't fully uninstall the old ui befor installing 2.16.1 and you are using an out dated mod.

Any thing to make the end user happy.. well maybe not any thing..

You can also toggle the health hud on and off by useing the player window short cut. I would tell you what the default one is, but I never use it so I don't really know off hand lol..

To thing this one button can kill my whole gamin expereince. The UI is awesome best i have ever seen but cant use it with this health box in the middle of my screen. I even tried going into window settings but it only allows you to show frame not both frame and title bar

Hmm can u post a screen shot for me? You should be able to unlock the window, turn on the frames and see if it moves.. It may or may not give the move icon. If that fails, go into the extreme folder and open up eq2ui_mainhud_player.xml in text editor have wordwrap off and delete every thing inbetween

Uninstall old UI
 

I went to uninstall the old UI before installing the new one and there was no option to uninstall. I tried installing the new one anyway. Will just deleting the old extremeui directory and do an install of 2.16.1 work as well?

In your start->programes there should be menu for eXtremeUI.. Witch I need to change and put in the everquest2 one.

ok I see that it is indeed the health_hug, if clicking the healthhud button 3 or 4 times don't kick off, type /hide_window MainHud.Player. If that don't work /shrug set it to trasnparent. I'll see whats up with it when I get home.

Öhm...then is my Inventory in the center top disable...but the HealthHUd (the big numbers "gg" is ever showing on the center of screen...

No your inventory isn't disable, its that middle window with all you amor in it. To access your bags use the button on that window, left side below your copper.

I doubt it being every one includeing my self is use to it being on the right. Maybe once SOE settels on a UI I can add options to windows.

Inventory Overflow
 

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but I was not able to see what was in my inventory overflow. Had to switch to default UI to move things to inventory.

By using your Tip with /hide... was it disabled...

But that Windows isnt my Problem...my Problem is the the HUD with the Giant Numbers of my health...thats in the center....here are a screen...

LittleMagica that window you have boxed IS the player window. I'm using it as the HEALTH HUD.

Ok every thing that you guys say isn't working is working fine on my end. So with that being said, I'm thinking I must of got a file mixed up or not of added an updated one. SO I recompiled the one I am useing and putting it up as 2.16.1a.

PLEASE UNINSTALL YOUR CURRENT ON!!! Be it by the uninstaller or just deleting the extreme folder either works but you MUST do one of them.

I have Uninstalled ExtreemUI a couple of times and also deleted the Extreem folder trying to get things to work, but it seems it is ignoring the images folder all together.

I have a custom GuildLogo in there, as well as I put in one of the perdigraphics.dds files from the file "Even More New eXtreme UI Backgrounds.zip" and it stays the same. Both files seems to be ignored.
