Known issues to be fixed today:

Self effects needs to be re-worked.
Leave group button not working.

I have checked and double checked, 1.7b will work on a fresh install even using your old UI settings file.

Maybe I'm blind, but I dont see 1.7b anywhere, just 1.7a. Where can I get 1.7b? :eek:

One page back, I have yet to test it since 1.7a doesn't work if I have my server_charname.ini and I'm far too lazy to set it up manually, even if I could see all the correct windows.

a fresh isntalled fixed all the previous problems, sorry i'm a moron :D

however, and i haven't tried 1.7c since I'm about to run out to school, but the harvest information window wasn't working with 1.7b - i would click on the H and nothing would happen :(

When i tried this over Fetish Nightfall i HATE that this UI doesnt change Bag Icons to 50% of their size.. so i lose visuals with half of my inventory and now i cant Change the UI back to fetish!?!! WTF is wrong with this!! >(

nice work again profit.. just a few little bugs i noticed:

1.) u forgot to add the "manastone.txt" into the package.. so the button doesnt work in a fresh UI dir

2.) after i used the old one, both of the butons (whistle and manastone) use the same inventory slot.. had to fix that manually (not a big deal tho ;)

3.) hope u can make the knowledgebook again like it looked like.. i liked that.. we just need a sort button ;)

4.) too bad alot windows are missing the cool blue look now (chat, knowledebook, etc..) hope u have time to fix that soon

but still: great work ;)

btw: has anyone an idea how to fix the stupid chat channel bug? (i always have all the channels i joined in my first tab/window. always need to disable it there after login)

Did Fetish work before you tried mine? perhaps you just need to edit your eq2ui.ini file.

I really like the "find" button in the store... so you can price things easier
but: if you dont open the broker window first with the "browse market" button it opens a broker window with 10% commision.. hope u can fix that as well

Hi and Thanks Profit this UI is great - so glad you managed to get it working in DoF in this quick a time - just one little thing that im having trouble with is bag contents and spells arent displaying their info on mouseover, just the icons. I think Mesmerize posted this problem earlier in the thread too. Im using the 1280 x 1024 ui settings that came with the new version 1.7c.

Yup, that will happen if you dont do a fresh install - I did warn everyone :p

It's the case for most UI's too.

Agreed. With the new spells and new layouts it's hard to read the spell names against a light background.

lol prof.. sry for swearin but i am so angry that i cant find a new UI or CHANGE it back or change it to a new one.. its locked to yours and now since i cant see 50% of my inventory it frustrates me even more

You could try:

1. use one of the included uisetting files.

2. unlocking the bags and try resizing them.

3. edit the eq2.ini file to point to your ui/fetish folder.

i really got no idea on how to modify or stuff like you inquire on pt.1

I did a fresh install to 1.7c and the harvest info window has not been funcioning for me since 1.7.

Has anyone else had this happen or have any ideas?

I think i saw someone say the same thing was happening to them a few posts back?

Yeah I forgot to add a line to the eq2ui.xml file

stick this anywhere in there:

<include>eq2ui_mainhud_harvest.xml</include>


Of course none of the Tier 6 stuff is in there.

Hmm, this didnt work for me. No harvest info is coming up. And I made a fresh install with 1.7c.

And for some weird reason, I have 2 bars with your manastone, rings and such.
I hid the second one.

Other than this, everything is working just fine. :)

The clock is also working! Digital + "day/night graphic thingy" :)

Any chance of getting a 1440x900 screen setup? I am able to get fairly close, but I often get problems with the chat windows and such.

Yeah a 1440 resolution file would be wonderful. I hate having to try and resize everything and have the beautiful text and everything be butchered and not get to make it all look pretty.

Edit: Answered my own question. To get the text displaying on the tooltips, I just deleted my UI/Profit directory and did a clean install! I should have read the directions! :nana:

First, I LOVE your UI. Far far better than what SoE gave us!

Only time I switch to another UI is for crafting. Fetich Tradeskills window lets me hit enter to start a combine and esc to stop, rather than having to click on the window buttons. Any chance you can add this functionality to the tradeskill window and help save my wrists from the evil mouse buttons?

i reinstalled 17c and neither clock nor manastone work for me

clock doesn't even show up ...

TOOL TIPS show up totally blank NO description .. NOTHING just a blank black box with icon and NO TEXT

Click on ALT + c for the clock... it should pop up there... Worked for me... :)

umm profit... for some reasion the horse whistle/hexdoll/poision buttion is using the manastone & and so is the manastone buttion

Ah HA! for some reasion the horse.txt has use_equipped_item 19
and so does hte manastone.txt

Hot Bar and Digital Clock

I totally love the UI and am sure in time things will be all worked out.

The digital clock seems to crash the game for me, so for now the dial clock is up.

Small request, can we get a hotbar that is 3/4 size. full size is a bit much and 50% is just to small. Small request when you have the time. thank you.

Awesome Awesome Awesome UI and Response Profit, mucho Kudos. I only have one problem Cant get the Stat bar on the bottom to show up AT ALL. Any idea how to get this to show up? I have tried everything.

Yeah, the notes for 1.7c say that the digital clock does not work.

I include 3 different sets of hot keys - to be honest though, you can just use any other hot key download. Mine is not that good!

Do you have the dark lower area? If so, right click and turn titlebar on.

If you dont have that area try starting from one of the included setting files.

It's resizable to any rez you like. I can only test/setup to 1280, so someone else will have to do the work sorry.
