I have been making my own mods to this UI for about a week now, just take out the "eq2ui_examine.xml" if that exists in your bottomV7 folder and remove "eq2ui_mainhud_maintained.xml" if that is in there also... That should get you back up and running with this mod to an extent, but your maintained in the player window will not work and your con colors will be wrong.........

This may get some of you up and running again but then again maybe not, as I have a lot of files in mine that you may or may not have... this is just a surgestion for a temp fix... It worked with my version of it... so dont flame me if it dont work for you lol :p

personally i like the new graphics. I mean its Perds graphics now. Instead of using Tjs. But it would be cool to have multiple options.

Dont know if this is still a problem but I'm using 5v5 and and the new mail window is black; as well as the tracking window lacks the buttons to select con levels.

well i have had no problems since the patch with a few exceptions .. like the 10k ac to bad its to real lol but thats becasue a change soe amde.. also yes the maintained window is gone but you can alwys turn the other one on for now.. have not yet ben to toen to check out the mail system .. but i have no problem examining anything or anyother problem lsited.. i ahve not changed or fixxed anything the only dif is i use a resolution not mentioned because its the only one i ahve that this ui seems to fit on

Sorry to here that Perd I just found this UI and love it greatly.

On to the bug report for you or anyone who can possibly fix it.

1. Black window while accessing the mail box. (Fixed by adding in the appropriate includes in the mainhud)
2. Inability to type in names in the house window. This happens while trying to add people to my friend/trustee list or while trying to visit another house. You physically cannot click into the window that allows typing names.
3. Maintained spells window. Personally I'm not too concerned about that I never had it running when I was using the default UI.

Those are the only issues I could see since the Big Patch 5 (TM)

I'm sad to see you go Perdition. This UI is probably the best I've come across. I love it. The new patch did introduce a couple bugs that I've found that could use some fixing if you have the time (*crosses fingers* ^_^ ):

1. Housing bug. You cannot type in names when trying to enter someone's house. You physically cannot click on the field to type someone's name.

2. AC is listed as being 10,000 on the main hud. Believe it's working fine in the persona window.

It's a fantastic mod man. Really great peice of work. Thank you (thats whether or not you have the time to fix the recent bugs btw!)

Also, on the merchant board, I cannot place the cursor into the search field to type.

Not sure if this is a bug, but I figure it couldnt hurt to ask.

I don't post much, but i do read the forums. I am very sorry to see you go Perd, you have inspiried me to costumize my UI for any game I have played for the first time ever. And so see you go isnt cool. I do hope the stuff going on will sort itself out so you can continue to play, and of course, continue come out with upgrades to your awsome UI, but even if u cant and I go back to the old one, its cool, had a blast using it while it lasted. But truly man, I hope everything turns out ok. Be Safe.

I think most of these things are not his UI's fault but other mods. Like FetishInventory broke many things...

I have just uploaded the last version V8 that contains all the lastest patch fix plus the input chat inclusion in the darker area.

D'ont forget to remove ENTIRELY your old floder before installing the new one.If you have any problem, please be sure to test it without any other Module.

I will be pleased if someone can continue this UI after me.

I have been doing quite a lot of stuff with this UI of yours, And have learnt a lot from it also... The result is a small collection of mods / addons for it, And once I put them up for download if they prove to be popular, It will look like I will need to keep the UI updated for them to work lol so yes it will live on ;) , As a note this is the UI that I personaly use the most...

BTW, for those with problems with broker and such you need to rename this file:
eq2ui_fonts.xml to eq2ui_fonts.xml.old or delete it I recommend renaming it. That will get your broker to work until the latest version is avail to D/L.

Anyone know what happened to teh Tyjae Bottom UI? It's no longer listed in the complete UI downloads section. Was also wondering if it's going to be updated to the new patch or if I should start looking for a replacement. <sniff sniff>

Its waiting to be reapproved taking an extremly long time as usual but should be there by tomorrow.

Perdi, I hate to see you go, as I love your UI, but one final question before you leave.

Is it possible to switch back to the grey from before version 7? I love the customizability of the newer versions, but I can't stand the new marbled look of them. I'm not asking for you to do this, wondering if it's possible without huge modification. If anyone else out there can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
