At one time there was a bug in the UI that allowed the casting bar to be dragged within the casting window, which could result in the bar being inaccessible. There are a couple ways to fix this...

A) In-game, use /load_uisettings to load the UI settings from another toon that doesn't have this problem. You might also be able to load older settings from the same toon that previously existed on another server, or an old backup settings file.

B) Out-of-game, open Notepad and ensure "Word Wrap" is unchecked. From Notepad open YOURSERVER_YOURCHARACTER_eq2_uisettings.xml found in the root Everquest II directory. Be sure you're workign with the ".XML" file and not ".ini". Search for...
and delete that entire line of code. Save and exit Notepad. Relaunch Everquest. You will probably need to reposition the cast window to where you want it, but everything else should be as you left it.

C) Last ditch option... out-of-game, delete YOURSERVER_YOURCHARACTER_eq2_uisettings.xml. This will reset all your windows to their default settings.

The auto-attack bars are embedded into the threat meter. You may need to enable the titlebar for that window to see them via Window Settings.

I recently installed Fetish onto a fresh install of EQ. I've been using the UI since it was first released, but I'm experiencing an issue regarding the casting bar that I've never dealt with before.

On this fresh install the cast bar does not display. However, if I interrupt the spell cast the UI displays the "Interrupted" prompt. Is there some way to reset the cast bar? Thanks for the great work Zonx, love the UI still!

heya i use fetish since im playing eq2, the last few months i quit the game ( 8 month), now i install the new fetish 11.8 but i didnt have a autoattackbar is there a new hotkey for that ??

Auto decline/greed loot can now be found in the standard group options dialog. Yet another Fetish feature incorporated by SOE without mention :P

Sounds like you have an out-dated version. Re-download 11.8 and extract it directly to the Everquest II directory.

FYI, this window was moved from eq2ui_mainhud.xml to eq2ui_global.xml in November with that change reflected in FN 11.7+. If you're patching in older mods that replace eq2ui_global.xml, that's likely the source of your problem.

The research tab was added and included with the latest version of Fetish. If it's missing you may need to clear your browser cache and redownload/install the UI.

ETA: The research capabilities are now located in the Knowledge window.

If you're going to use /loadui you will likely need to /camp to that character or to another on the same account. It is better to use the .ini file included with the Fetish install.

You can also use the FetishCentral to Locate that window and change it's location.

Zonk- Just updated with 11.8 - woot!!!.. I have had to change/gimp it along since 58 update - but that comes with the customizing. Anyway I was wondering if you are still working on the Research Assistant tab- now that they took them out of the game and attached them to the main-hud.
