Animated Blue Dragon Knowledge Book

The Dragon Eye Blink animation has been slowed down, so the dragon doesn't blink so fast. The Animation part of the Code had to be re-done, but I think it looks better with a slower blink. No other changes were made to this mod, only the Animation Speed.

This is a port of the Blue Dragon Spellbook I used in my Everquest Live UI. It has been re-created for use with Everquest II. The Dragon has semi-transparent wings and appears to be holding the Knowledge book in it's claws. Click on the Spikes on the Dragon's head to close the window (has roll-over tool tip). The upper left hand button brings you back to the first page of the selected tab. The upper right hand button brings you to the last page of the selected tab. The Left Center and Right Center buttons move the pages on the tab by 1 page at a time. The Buttons for the Tabs (Abilities, Spells, Combat Arts, and Tradeskill) appear under the Knowledge book.

And the Dragon's eyes are animated to open and close while the book is open.

in honor of the author

some one really should update the red/blue dragon books in honor of the author. and because they are one of the best looking skins out there. if you have xml skillz - you should really consider doing this.. tyvm

I love this mod , it is one of my fav. mods and I use many....Just read the thread on what happened to the author, I know this is 2 years later but this is sad to hear

This is soooooo sweet. I use my Knowledge book for crafting, having arranged the Tradeskill-Items 1 Craftskill/Page. In as much i have it often open, for longer times... gives style to the Screen !!!

Can we get the other windows with the Blue Dragon Motif too?

I can not take all the credit for the Original Book, it was a UI mod created by Thangor for EQ1 back in October of 2002. I reworked the graphics to use the .dds format and did the Layout and Coding for use with EverQuest 2. Just want to give credit where credit is due.
