It's totally easy:

1: unzip ONLY "eq2ui_loginscene.xml" to your UI directory
2: open it with e.g. "Editor" and edit

"OnShow="WindowPage.Password.Text=YOURPASSWORDHERE"

to:

"OnShow="WindowPage.Password.Text=*ACCOUNTPASSWORD*"
(without the *'s)
3: then edit

"Button LocalText="Character1" LocalTooltip="Server1" Location="5,100" Name="Char1"

to:

"Button LocalText="*YOURCHARNAME*" LocalTooltip="*YOURSERVER*" Location="5,100" Name="Char1"
(w/o the *'s)



4: Do the same with the following Lines (Char2, Char3, etc.) and delete the Lines, you don't need until the last

"</Button>"


one line before:

"<Button LocalText="Clear" Location="270,195" Name="ClearButton"


That's all!

After you finished you have to launch "\*GAMEDIR*\EverQuest2.exe
(not the EQ2.exe).
After loading, you just should have to click the button for the Char you wanna play.

I'm confused....real what readme file? the zip doesn't have one. I've tried over and over to figure out how I'm supposed to use this, and nothing comes up cause the way EQ2 players login is through the launcher...and the launcher looks nothing like that image you have up there. From what I can tell, EQ2 won't run unless the patcher is what runs it.

Some help that actually exists would be really nice.
