There are three ways to use Flammenschild on a spell button for EU Deutsch:

1) Use the base spell name Flammenschild without Spell ID. The highest level spell in your book will be cast.
2) Use a specific level like Flammenschild VII with Spell ID. Click "Get Spell ID" after you choose the spell level.
3) Use a specific level like Flammenschild VII without Spell ID. In this case you need to put an extra space before the VII.

All of these are correctly handled for you in the group and raid window setup pages of the utility, in Quick Setup, and with the in-game window manager. The only way to make it fail is by typing the spell name manually and putting only one space before the VII.


There is a French/German version of the Maintained Spell Monitor on the updater that will show you the ward values. Right-click the gear icon next to the window name and choose French/German Vertical, then click the Update button. Due to the way regional settings handle digit grouping for EU clients, setpoint warnings cannot be set for ward amounts with this version. But you can use setpoint warnings with timers and stack increments since they are usually 999 or less.

First off just want to say that I recently downloaded your ui after many years using profit, and so far I'm loving the features in yours!!! Great job! I do however miss the broker window from profit. Would it be possible for you to do something similar?

Thank you for your comments, hollich. I have never come up with a clean way to expose search, buying and selling areas together on the top surface of the window without it looking like a major train wreck. Leaving the search controls in a separate window and improving upon buying and selling areas as much as possible has turned out to be the best compromise of form and function. You may be able to combine the ProfitUI market window into your DarqUI folder without any issues -- it's been a while since I've tried that.

Is there a copy of the <server>_<character>_eq2_uisettings.xml for this? Or did I just install it wrong?

Can the connection stats be added to the bar as another page or something? I had previously used another custom ui and this was one of the things I really liked about it. It was easy to see how your connection was doing.

There is no preset window layout, and I don't see a particular benefit in wiping out chat tabs, chat channels, voice channels, filters, bag locations, hotbars etc.

Are your UI enhancements available by indivual pieces ? the full UI is just a bit to much for me but there are certain elements i would love to use if possible i dont see that option on eqinterface just the full install version

Thanks for the task tray icon. It works great except the icon keeps disappearing.

Also, would it be possible to have it update the Utility and Notifier in addition to the UI files?

Check for updates with the utility and then click "Skip" for all the files you don't want. The only required file is the Window Manager. Everything else is optional.

The icon is probably going into the hidden icons area. Click the ^ up-arrow next to the tray icons and drag DarqUI_Notify out onto the main tray. If that doesn't keep it visible, check here for more complete instructions.

As far as updating the apps, the EQ2Interface folks are very gracious to host all of this for us, so it's a better idea to visit the site instead of me doing it for you behind the scenes.
