Hi. I just tried installing the patch that was posted yesterday and it looks like it works but now everything on the battlegrounds window is in German I'm hoping this isn't user error

So it is...hmm Ok, I'll see about getting a fix out for it soon.

Edit: Trying to figure out if it was a problem with the UI or one on SOE's side. I've not made any changes that would affect that (that I'm aware of), and yet there is no German tonight. Anyone confirm if this is still a problem please?

Having an issue seeing the whole "award" on the housing leaderboard, which is a problem because the number of awards you've won is shown in the lower right-hand corner. I'm attaching a screenshot.

When is the last time you patched the UI? I fixed that problem a while back and just confirmed that it is fixed, and not cutting off the awards icons. Just be sure when you download the patch that the zip file is labeled as v1.6. If it shows a different version, clear your browser cache then try again.

Just patched the other day, actually. I'll try a fresh install---I might have missed something.

edit: Okay, I know I can be a bit daft, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I *did* manage to find I had a few extra Fetish folders hanging about, so I did a total cleanup of all my UI stuff and did a complete reinstall.

On my first attempt, ironically all I got was the housing leaderboard completely blacked out--except for the medals, which were now showing fully. So I got rid of everything and tried again, and now I'm back to where I was before, except for one difference--there's now a strip missing from the exp bar--it's like it was sliced out of it (I believe it may be the pvp section).

I did check, and yes I am using the 1.6 patch.

No idea what I'm doing wrong here. I usually patch with no problems whatsoever.

Ok lol this made my morning =) sorry but gave me a laugh after just waking up... That said, I'm not awake yet so let me ask a couple more questions.

You've done a completely fresh reinstall of Fetish I assume from what you wrote...
1) Did you download and install the last update from Zonx first?
2) Did you then download only Patch v1.6, or did you try to do all of them?
3) Are you making sure to click YES when asked to replace files and folders?

From the sound of it, not everything is getting replaced - an image file here... an xml there... I've done it myself a few times, just clicking through too fast in a hurry or distracted and miss something.

Ah, I'm used to being the plucky comic relief, so I'm glad I could provide you with a chuckle.

I downloaded the latest Fetish avaliable from Zonx. Now, when you say "last update", are you talking about the DoV one? Because *that* one I may have missed in my re-install.

As I said, I can be daft, but thankfully not THAT daft--I only downloaded v1.6. I'm not an IT person, but I also didn't fall off the haywagon yesterday.

And yes, I'm replacing everything.

Ok from what you've told me it sounds like you're missing some sort of image file, but at this point I'm not sure which one. Can you post a screen shot of the problems you're having right now? That may help narrow it down some.

As far as the updates, all that is needed for a clean install of Fetish is V11.9 from Zonx and V1.6 from my patch. You will need to replace all xml files and folders, I know you said you did this already I'm just reiterating.

There was a problem I was having a while back with the XP bar not wanting to show properly (after the PvP update), but honestly if you don't play PVP, there is no reason to replace that XP bar, it should function just fine.

It actually now looks exactly the same as the previous screenshot, but the blue section of the xp bar is gone...just clipped out. You can see the background right through it. There's the top part of the bar, then the blue bar is sliced out, and then the bottom part of the bar continues as normal. It's the third bar in. So, two bars, slice, fourth bar.

I'm not near my game atm, so I'll post as soon as I can.

Ok, I've been through the UI completely and can not find any of these errors within the UI. I update my game UI off the build folder, so any changes in my main game folder come right before I post an update here.

That said, the only thing I can think to try is the following (I know you've tried some of this already, but humor me ) :

1) Clear your browsing history completely.
2) Re-download this patch, making sure it's V1.6.
3) Copy the following files one at a time (from the new download, to your gameUI folder), clicking Yes to replace - this is so you're sure you have the right files and that they are in fact copying over.

* images (folder)
* _FetishStyles.xml
* eq2ui_Mainhud_experience.xml
* eq2ui_playerhousing.xml
* eq2ui_playerhousing_browseratings.xml

These are the files directly related to the two windows you're having problems with. The chunk missing from the XP bar is one I encountered when adding in the PvP bar, but I was able to fix it, and I don't believe it was ever released that way. The partially cut off awards were accidentally released but that was a few versions ago, so the only think I can think of is that somehow you're not getting the most up to date version of the patch. However if that were the case, you'd be having other problems as well, so this is definitely puzzling!

Are these two problems wide spread over all your characters or is it limited to just a couple?

Okay, as god as my witness, I don't know what it is I'm missing. I did a fresh reinstall of Fetish. Just to be sure, I actually went to the install page and followed the directions step-by-step. I then downloaded the GU61 patch here AGAIN, to make sure it was the correct one. Extracted that. And this is what I keep getting.

Surely I cannot be as stupid as I appear to be, here.

Not sure if this is an issue unique to me as I don't know anyone who still uses Fetish, but with the new updates/xpac, I'm unable to /marketplace without immediately crashing my client.

Any advice?

The windows you added the tabs for in the Character window on the bottom.
Dungeon/Merc/Warder/Share are somewhat broke.
Once you select on of those tabs, you cannot click anything else in the new window.
