I got to say I love this! I just came back to eq2 and this was the first thing I got. But I do want to ask if there might be a player/group window to go with this, and maybe a way we could make them a little bigger?

I had to get a new target window as it was too small

I really love this skin!

I have a question for you, though.

I use ProfitUI and it appears I still have the default progress bar for spell casts and underwater breathing, etc.

I am sure this is a simple fix.

I found your skin used in the LunaUI which has since been removed from the site along with any comments made on it. I love the skin and the fact that I can continue to use DeadBeaTs with the upgraded look.

I wanted to let you know that your hard work is greatly appreciated by me and my wife who are both now using it. Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to produce such a polished, visually stunning product.

Man, this is easily the best skin ever made! one thing i cant stand about mods in general, and skins. They all seem to maintain a modern, shiny,chrome appearance which i really hate for a fantasy mmo. Granted "vanguard" interfaces have been attempted before, but this is the first time i have seen any one succeed at it! Keep up the great work, and i am REALLY looking forward to seeing more of your work. I have had no problems at all with it, "using it with profitUI and a few extra addons" and i am completely impressed

The progress bar, yes i did re-colored it to be more contrast friendly. But i really was not sure about this change. I thought i would have a go at it and see what people liked. Obviously some people will like the red one more. A solution to this as of now is to use the file from the v1.03 version. Replace the "window_elements_generic.dds" file to get the "red" progress bar back. I will think about this and perhaps change back to the red one in next release, we will see

More great work, excellent job, I just love the look the target windows now. However I do have a question, why did you reskin the progress bar from red to gray? To me the old one looked way better, this one just seems a bit dull due to the contrast of it.

ps. About the map icons i've been playing with em myself and i can agree they tend to be a bit too big at times. I guess i have to revise this and do a new release in future Hang in there.

I have to say this definitely one of the best skins I have seen. I luv it over all. Not to sure i like the map icons yet. They seemed a little big and overwhelming the map. In Moors there was pretty much no map at all. It was all icons. Now the real issue is with the target window. Not sure yet if its a profit ui issue or from the skin. But, when targeting a named or heroic mob the new background scroll i guess is what you call it, is on top of the power and health bars instead of in the background. Makes it so you can only see the middle of the health and power bars.
None the less like i said overall totally awesome!

just copy the images folder only from this mod to your Profit UI folder, make sure to overwrite it all.

example if you have the default install directory and Profit set up would be this...

C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\ProfitUI

copy and paste the images folder only from VanGurK to there.

Also make sure your eq2.ini looks like this

cl_ui_skinname ProfitUI
cl_ui_subdir UI/

Very nice skinning job:-) I would really like to use it but it totally destroys the overall arrangment of ProfitUI as most of the Skins and icons are bigger than in Profit (I only have resolution of 1440x900). If the layout would be smaller it would be perfect for me

PS: For your (c) information: I thought that Sony would had have the rights for EQII prior to Vanguard *s*
