This program looks at your Everquest II\music directory and allows you to assign an alternate music file to it. it then copies the new file to the custom_music directory like sony wants it done :P (keeps ya from having to do it everytime you do a full file scan).
I got tired of doing it by hand. so here ya go.
directions
1 - type in or search for the Everquest II path
2 - Click the populate button
3 - double click each file you want to change... there are 488 mp3's in eq2.....
4 - click the process button
notes - it will overwrite any custom file you decide to do. it does not overwrite the original files nor does it delete your music files outside the game... it only ever writes to the custom_music directory. if you don't like the changes to your music just delete the custom_music directory.

Time for an update!
I was really looking forward to using an addon such as this in EQ2. I was sadden to find that it's really out-of-date and no longer functioning. I know this probably wont happen, but an update would be a godsend!

Anybody remember that old music pack that was posted way back near eq2 release? I forget the name but it was up on the forums for a while but SOE stopped it cause it included other video games' music.
Janel or something was the name.
That would go great with this utility!

I think this is awesome. Sadly though I have it installed all the songs I add are not playing while in game. The original game music is playing still. I will keep trying, but is there anything I could have missed? Keep me posted.
