Game Update #64 Compatible
Description:
This mod adds HP and Power percentages to the default player window, is sizable horizontally, and has "click-to-cure" functions added to the status effect icons. Click-to-cure button settings are accessed via the mouse-over button in the bottom, right-hand corner.
A hover-shown button display on the bottom-right of the window. This brings up the options window to define all your Quick Cure buttons. These abilities save by character name and are unique to each. After you set your abilities once, it's recommended to fully restart EQ2 if you plan to switch characters and then switch back. This is a code limitation. Once you fully re-log after setting abilities, they will save indefinitely.
If you have Potions in your Bank/Shared bank that match the ones you're using for Click to Cure, you'll often get a message that you don't have selected item in your inventory. This is a game bug. You'll have to move the extra potions from the bank!
See this topic for detailed information:
http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=13801
Window options:- Cure button settings windows allows you to customize your curing setup.
- Click health/power percentages to switch to current health/power display
- Click player name to display full health/power ranges under their corresponding bars.
Installation Notes:
- How To: Install A Custom UI
- Simply unzip into your custom UI folder.
If you already have a modified eq2ui_custom.xml, only 1 line is required in your eq2ui_custom.xml to use DrumsUI mods:
Code:
<include>DrumsUI_custom_includes.xml</include>
Update Log:
2012.08.14
- Added in manual command for "Robust" potions for the player window cures. Will remove after SOE fixes /cureplayer command for T10 potions. Update your clickbuttons by using the "Default" button in editing window.
2011.12.11
- Click cast/cure buttons have been increased from 5 to 10 max lines in the popup window.
2011.07.13
- The Click Button Settings button should now stay functional when switching between characters.
2011.03.23
- Toggling full Health/Power ranges or individual Health and Power numbers in the window will now save between sessions, and per character.
- If the Playername color gets out of sync when switching between Ranged/Melee autoattack, mousing over the window while out of combat should fix it (unofficial fix for SOE coding).
2011.01.25
- Click cure buttons have been fixed to not attempt to double cure.
- Click cure's 'default settings' have been changed to use Sony's "/cureplayer" command. This mainly helps with Potions and non-healers and can be easily updated by using the "Default" button while editing.

2010.08.18

I love it.
Is there a way to assign cure potion as default action?
Something like use "expert trauma potion" on press?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure there would be an easy way of doing this other than editing the code yourself, since they are so many different types of items out there I would think.

Your window is great! but I am a tank part time and a healer the other part. I am going crazy without the health/mana in numbers.
http://www.eq2interface.com/download...icktoCure.html
For example was perfect. Your model however still works after the update. Your model also allows you to cure without targeting yourself which makes cureing much faster and allows healing to go fast!
Is there any chance of you doing a new window similar or the same to the link above? While keeping your better features of course.
Thanks!

I'd be happy to release an alternative, showing numbers, as you have described. Would you prefer them under the bars, or next to them? I shall experiment for what looks best.

Better yet -
Any chance you could make it clickable - and toggle between percentage and Numbers? That would make it complete. I've used others that are clickable and it works great but I would love to see this one do it.
I appreciate all the work you do.

Under the bars! (please!) I am out of room from left to right, but up and down I have lots of room.
I use this window, group window, and the quest window all next to each other and with my resolution that caps it out. :/
Thank you very very very much!

Necromancer - Cure Arcane
Any chance on getting the "Click to Cure" feature to work with classes that
don't have the generic "Cure" spell?
My Necro has "Cure Arcane" but when I click on the Arcane Debuff, I get
the following error:
"That spell is no longer available"
I'm assuming it's due to the fact that it is looking for the generic "Cure" spell.
Is it possible to detect class type and change the spell cast?

I don't have any smart class recognition in there yet. I previously had it try to cast both at once, but the mod has been going through some changes.
I may get this fixed up next update

any chance you could make it vertically resizable?
I love the simplicity and cleanness of this window, but the extra space at the bottom of the window that I can't close up means I can't put it where I really want it, right at the top of my spell bars. I know that means the percentages would overlap but I would live with that. P.S. I love your tradeskill mod, it's the best! Could you make it vertically resizable as well as horizontally?

Thank you for the feedback. Note that if you resize this player window vertically you would not be able to see when your character has debuffs on you. I know that this is only important for those of us that can actually cure!
I shall take your idea and see if I can't implement it. It should be easy enough
And the trade skill window shall be seeing updates soon.

What I meant was vertically resize player window...
...not the ts window. That one is already vertically resizable

Aye read my message again. I was talking about this player window, but I just noted about the TS window at the end.
The extra space in the player window is for the debuffs. But I can still make it resizable for those of us who can't cure them anyway.
