I can't seem to get passed Character Select screen as soon as I go to play a toon EQ2 shuts down due to Data Execution Prevention. What am I to do?

Please update this UI. i keep crashing when i go to in-game browser... i know its not my computer, because i just bought a new one... (duel core, 4 GB per core, and 1TB HDD). also my subclass quick tab spells keep glitching. and i gatta keep rebooting eq2. an update would be nice. Thank you

Can someone please show me the correct way to edit the Profit UI quick raid button text file for the Coercer's mana flow to send a tell to the person I am putting it on and send a tell in raid who I casted it on? Here is the text file........

then the launcher asks me to give the file path but when i get to my games folder it will not show the .exe files needed to update, even when i type them in manually.

my files are located @ D:\Games\EverQuest2

what am i doing wrong here?

If you have an x64 machine, uninstall all versions of Java and get BETA 7 x64 for windows and it will fix this issue

Just incase anyone has had a problem with a message similar to that like I have...

Go into your profit UI directory. There should be some files with the winzip (or whatever extraction program you use) icon next to it. Right click it and click Extract here, or extract to the folder you are in. When it asks to replace, click yes to all. This should fix any problems you may have with the variants.

Hope this helps anyone with the same infuriating problems I had!

Does anyone even update this anymore? There are bugs with the quickraidbuttons sometimes where they reset and you lose your abilities through those buttons. There is a way to macro a command to show the class detector and this fixes it, or you have to log out and back in.

If there is nobody working this UI anymore, then it might be time to switch UI's. I haven't seen the updater do much of anything in a long time.

I downloaded it and i have no start buttons you know the cube looking thing... Has anyone had this issue or am i suppose to push somthing to get it to pop up?

This thread is for the updater itself...I don't watch it as a general rule. The persona window has a patch available for it and will be available on the updater as well as soon as Kaldran gets a chance to upload it. I have sent it to him already so it should not be too long before it goes up.

To use the manual update for the persona window: go to the link, download the zip for the version of the window you use, and extract the file it contains to your profitui directory.

why he said that i will never know, anyway search the forums for the GUpdate marked 4/28/2011 there is a little patch for the character window.....it Wont work unless you add these files into your current UI folder.

See notes on the main page about the changes made or load default and you will see why your old windows won't work.

I am having the same problem, with the "the mainHUD is not compatible wtih the current client." etc. etc.
when i run profitui, it says everything is up to date. no problem with that.
im hoping somone is working on a new update.

When i click the installer using Win 7 it says failed to verify certificate and wont go any farther, I tried installing the zip but the char window still doesnt work when i do it that way
