-- Version 1.0
Made some cosmetic changes to the interface
Added a Clear all button, if you want to log into another account
Added a Clear Character/Server button so you can log into the character select/Character Create screens
Added to the files a shutdown screen that gets data from the same character file. While it won't automatically get you into another character on another account, it does make it quicker. Double click on the character name to start camping.
Fixed bug that showed 2nd item in list on load.
To choose character that is already selected on load, just mouse over the dropdown bar.
-- Version 0.9
This is a login screen that easily allows you to update a list of as many different characters as you want. All you have to do to edit the character list is edit the eq2ui_loginscene_CharacterData.xml file which looks like this:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<DataSource Name="CharacterData">
<Data Name="Character1" password="PASS1" server="SERVER1" username="USER1"/>
<Data Name="Character2" password="PASS2" server="SERVER2" username="USER2"/>
</DataSource>
Each <Data> node represents a character.
The Name attribute is your characters name, replace your Character1 or Character2 with the name of your character.
The password attribute is your account password, replace PASS1 or PASS2 with your account password for the character.
The server attribute is the server that the character plays on. Replace SERVER1 or SERVER2 with that character's server. (I believe servers with a space use %20 to represent a space)
The username attribute your station id/username that the character is under. Replace USER1 or USER2 with your station ID.
To add characters just add another <Data> node. It's easiest just to copy and paste one and replace the attributes as described above.
To remove a character delete the <Data> node for that character.
If you are worried about security just set the password attribute to "" and you can type it in yourself each time you log in.
Just like the Mook Login you need to use the EverQuest2.exe file instead of the EQ2.exe file to login. Under standar installations it is located at:"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\EverQuest2.exe"
Enjoy.
