Can you post a screen shot of the updater when it has stoped?

If you post it in the EQ2Map Troubleshooting forum i will see it much faster as i don't look here so offen.

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

I run Windows XP 64 with a 64 bit amd cpu. Is this why?

There is no need to uninstall EQ2.
All you need to do is delete the UI folder.

It happens when I start it and it looks for new files. Since my original post I have deleted the file and the program and tried to re-install it to no avail. When the program comes to Poets Palace 3rd floor it just stops. I've deleted the files named PP 3rd and all files named PP but nothing works. The only course of action I have left is to try and dump all of eq2 and do a fresh new installation of EQ2 and see if that makes a difference

why is the little clusters checked but greyed out how come it does not work?..this is for locateing mineral nodes and roots etc...what not corect .?

I run the updater and it goes throught the files and when it comes to the poet palace map lvl 3 it freezes. I've uninstalled the eq2map program and even deleted the file which all my maps are in, and tried to select the poet palace maps and delete them thinking they were corrupt or damaged some way.

Any advice or help would be a great help

Map has been working fine and then just out of the blue I lost all poi's .. the next day the poi's were back but the red arrow which shows "Me" has been missing......... difficult to orient myself on map . I can see group members and zones and all else but not myself! How could I fix this? please

I am having a problem getting the icons to actually show on my ingame map.I am running windows xp sp2 have all the latest .net frameworks installed i have tried uninstalling and installing several times and i cant get the icons to show on my map?The update and everything downloads ok,goes to the right folder,but when i load up eq2 nothing just the standard map...no other interfaces installed...anyone know whats going on here?

I'm not sure if it's a problem with EQ2 Map or my installation, but the main world map doesn't have Kunark on it.

Help!?
