toggle
i was told about this mod by my guild leader and it is wonderful. i have never been able to navagate my way through nek castle with such flawlessness. and it is all due to you.
i have one reccomandation though. in places like nek forese there are soo many little dots for information that you can barly see the arrow for where you are going.. if it is possible to make a feature to toggle the little information dots on and off it would help alot with navagation in such instances.
but again. wonderful job.

there is a plugin to do just the feature you are requesting its in the eq2map download section --> http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/index.php?cid=120
its called POI visibility toggle or something real close to that.

With Liveupdate #13 they changed something so you can see the red dots of your friends even if they are in "black" (unexplored) area.. with the EQ2MAP Plugin that doesnt work so far
wish u could add this support too, its quite handy
but still: great work! thanks for this

Program not booting up correctly.
I am having a strange issue. I have had the program installed and running perfectly for months.
Now all of a sudden when i double click the icon, nothing happens.
I go into the proccess list under task manager and I can see eq2updater.exe running.
I dont see it in the running applications tab so I have so way to get to it all I can do is shut down the proccess.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.
Anyone ever have this problem?
I hate not being able to update my maps.

Mapper Windows
Just a quick questions ... I have two screens ... is there a way to separate the map frame to outside of the EQ2 Window ... ie I would love to be able to place the map frame on one screen and the EQ2 interface on the other screen .. kind of a pain that EQ2 always places the map on the main screen covering a large portion of your view ... dual screen gaming is fantastic ... if it was possible with EQ2 I could still get a full unobstructed view of the game on one screeN and continuously watch the map on my other screen .. if there is no way to do this currently .. is there any way to posssibly do this with some code changes to allow the map to be windowed outside of th emain game screen?
Thanks

Great, Great, Great!!
Just wanted to say that this is the best UI that I have ever seen. It is a pleasure to hit that map button this comes up. WOW....it is so impressive. I highly recommend this to everyone I speak with ingame. Since people in my guild know that I use this, I get questions all the time "hey can you tell me where this or that is". I love it!!
Great work!!

I love this map upgrade. It was the best however it seems to be changing. First, For the past several weeks when I use the waypoint indicator it now disappears when the map closes. I have to constantly open up waypoint finder and reengage the waypoint. Every time I have an encounter the waypoint indicator goes away. Second issue, there have been alot of things removed from the map. The map used to have specific locations of quest locations on the map or where certain types of NPC were located to complete a quest. This is now gone. Please bring them back. Thank you so much for the most excellent work!

Ugh..I don't know this kind of takes out a lot of immersion from the game when you have a GPS system. No more adventure in exploring the unknown I guess.
