Basic Installation:
Unzip EQ2MAP.zip into your custom UI folder with zip folder structure (use folder names) enabled.

Explanative Installaion:
eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml - goes in the main folder of your custom UI folder
all other *.xml files - go in eq2map under your custom UI folder
icon_map3.dds - goes in images\icons under your custom UI folder
all map_*.dds files - go in images\maps under your custom UI folder

Troubleshooting FAQ:
Q. When I log into EQ2 the game crashes. What is wrong?
A. You didn't put the component XML files in the correct place. All EQ2MAP XML files, except
eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml, need to go in a subfolder of your custom UI folder named eq2map.

Q. When I log into EQ2 there's no 3D render (it's just black) and many UI pieces are messed up.
   What is wrong?
A. You didn't put the component XML files in the correct place. All EQ2MAP XML files, except
eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml, need to go in a subfolder of your custom UI folder named eq2map.

Q. When I zone into <ZoneName> I don't see a map, just 4 big ugly squares of varying colors.
   What is wrong?
A. You're missing the .dds map file for that zone; likely you put it in the wrong place.
Make sure your maps (map_*.dds) are in the images\maps folder under your custom UI folder.

Q. I don't have an arrow on the map (or I have an ugly square) showing where I am! What's wrong?
A. You're missing the file icon_map3.dds; likely you put it in the wrong place.
Make sure icon_map3.dds is in the images\icons folder under your custom UI folder.

Q. I just see the default map window. What is wrong?
A. EQ2 isn't loading the customized map .xml file; either you put it in the wrong place or
you don't have EQ2 set up properly to load custom UI files. Check eq2interface.com for
assistance getting custom UIs to work.

Mod Authors:
If you'd like to "reskin" the EQ2MAP window to better fit in with your UI, send me (Quib) a PM or
stop by our forum at:
http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=34
and let us know you're interested. I'll help you get a style set made up that you can distribute to
your users to make the EQ2MAP window fit in with the rest of your UI theme.

Mod Users:
If you'd like to suggest a UI style (examples are BohoMOD, TyeJay Steel, etc.) for the EQ2MAP
window to be skinned like, stop by the forum and leave a note and a link to the mod's main
download. I can't promise a skin for each mod, but there will definately be options.
