Save optionsWhen saving configurations with the DarqUI Unified Window Utility, changing to a different character or a different component page (Bag, Beastlord, Browser, etc.) triggers the save check. If you are saving automatically, switching between windows or characters will trigger the auto-save feature. When you close the application, a window will give you an opportunity to save any final changes.

The only exceptions to this rule are the Group and Raid windows. In these two cases, each of the five icon slots is considered to be a "page" even though all five are displayed in one window.

If you use the Manually, allow switching views save option, you must take care to save your changes before you navigate to a different icon, character or page either by clicking or by using the left and right arrows. If you don't click the red Save button between icons and component pages, your changes will be discarded.

If you chose Automatically or Manually, save/cancel required, you don't need to worry about this. Autosave will work in the background in the first case, and it will prevent you from switching to another icon or page in the second case.

Full-screen windowed game clientis an adaptation of the popular Make Window Fullscreen utility by aerlyn_venekor. Using this feature, the game window will cover the entire screen even though it is technically in windowed mode. This allows you to [Alt+Tab] to other applications or mouse over to a secondary monitor without the graphical issues that come with switching between full-screen and windowed modes.

With the feature checkbox checked, close the utility and log in to the game. A few moments after the listener detects a character, it will expand the EverQuest II window and then shut itself down. Your game window will remain in this state until it is restarted, or until it is manually switched to full-screen (using Alt+Enter in game).

To redisplay the window frame and titlebar, press [Alt+Enter] twice to redisplay the game in standard windowed mode. The frame edge of the game window will be visible along the right-hand edge of the screen. Resize the window slightly using this frame edge, and the client will reset itself to display all borders and titlebar again.

If you have multiple monitors, you can use the Adjust metrics setting to fine-tune the size and location of the game window when the full-screen feature is invoked. Enter a string in the form of left top width height. You can experiment with various metrics while the game window is running. Click Expand now to immediately move and resize the game client based on the adjustment string.

For example, if your primary monitor is to the left of your secondary monitor and both monitors are at 1680x1050 resolution, you can enter one of the following:

0 0 1680 1050(left side primary)
1680 0 1680 1050(right side secondary)

If your primary monitor is on the right and the secondary monitor is on the left, enter one of the following:

0 0 1680 1050(right side primary)
-1680 0 1680 1050(left side secondary)

Change the example horizontal and vertical resolution values to those of the destination monitor. You can specify other placement and size values, but the game window cannot be resized any smaller than 1024x768. To return to the default full-screen settings, clear the adjustment string.

This feature can expand one instance of the EverQuest II game client. If you run multiple instances of the game at the same time, you should use the more robust Make Window Fullscreen application found at EQ2Interface.com.
