Default drag from container issue ?

When I try to drag something from a container I sometimes grab the item to its right. Is there some way to adjust the draggable area on bags to shift it to the left a bit?

I'm currently using Othesus no-frame bag for GU 32 though it seems to happen even unmodded ...

Thanks!

To my knowledge, , not a lot of it )
This is a SOE problem, which has been around since LU26 or around there.

It has got better, but still not right, all you can do is /bug it.

Try putting the middle of the pointer in the bag, rather than its point, it helps a bit.

Can only hope this will get fixed properly one day

The problem is that the pointer doesn't grab what you click on. It drags the item under the pointer after you drag the mouse a few pixels. The problem is a lot more apparent when you're using small bag icons. It's been like this for a while though, since they changed the bags to use Iconbanks.

The only thing you can do is try to use larger bag icon sizes or try to drag across the icon a little farther, e.g. if you're dragging to the right start on the left side, or if you're dragging down start at the top.

I have noticed it for a while, but lately I've been playing from a laptop and it's been more apparent.

I'll try playing with it when I get home, but is there anyway to make the icon you're currently over (or depending on the timing) the one you left click on dynamically larger? Perhaps an onClick that would double it's size so whichever way you're dragging is still that cell?

The Iconbank object was introduced in GU #29 11/14/2006:
http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=6997
in the bag, hotkey, target, and implied target windows.

Its properties are just what we can see in those files. The UIBuilder doesn't know what it is (the UIBuilder is from 2005 or so.) I don't think it's possible to do what you're asking.
