1) Make a folder named myui
2) Un-zip the ui mod into this folder
3) Move the folder to <eq2 directory>/ui/
4) In <eq2 directory> (not your UI folder) make a new text file
5) name it eq2.ini
6) open eq2.ini in your favorite text editor
7) add this
cl_ui_skinname myui
cl_ui_subdir UI/

Go in game and enjoy your new ui adition.

Now use search on the forum as there are alot of threads covering this exact same topic.

1. Moved Post to "help" since you need help, and this is not a "UI discussion"

2. DO NOT use /loadui, It does not work as stated in almost every post on how to install UIs

3. What he said above...

Did this exactly, and I still log in with the default UI.

Ok do this for me.

1) Open your eq2.ini copy everything inside that file and post it.
Should look like

cl_ui_skinname myui
cl_ui_subdir UI/

were it says myui that would be your special folder containing your files in ../ui/

2) Go into your folder you created for your ui post exactly were its located.

Should look something like this
c:/program files/sony/everquest 2/ui/myui/

3) List all the files in your ../myui/.

4) are there any folders in ../myui/ ?
