Default eq2ui_skininfo.xml

Just to clarify, what I've gathered from the boards is that this particular file really isn't necessary for a mod to run properly. Is this correct?

I'm looking into an HO mod that has this file included but none of my other mods have one. Since I couldn't find any reference to this file in the mod's main xml file it appears as if it's not needed for the HO mod to work as expected.

Any insight would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

That file's only purpose is to provide a UI name to the loadui window and some notes about the UI. It has no effect on the behavior of the mod itself.

Technically you should have 1 skin file for each UI folder, each of which should contain a unique name so you can easily identify that set in the load ui list.

Exactly what I had thought. Thank you for the confirmation.
